Nemo and Cirucci playing 'parent' on hard mode.

Not only are they raising the new lynchpin of existence, they only have a few seconds to think of a name!

Terrifying.

You see it's fitting because animal crossing is secretly purgatory, and safe because nobody can fucking hit her in her go-kart-shaped throne

named after furniture designer Werner Aisslinger.

You have successfully revealed another Kubo Fact that I would not have guessed at in a million years. I'm not sure how quite to quantify these bits of meta-lore like 'Espada are named after Architects'. It has nothing to do with the characters designs or themes, or even the story at large. I guess it's sort of like including references to pop-culture, except references to pop-culture are generally insufferable.

Just caught after an absurd amount of reading and discovered my first vote here will be among the last. Great story with some incredible moments.

Gotta have that unnecessary Y to diverge just a little from the Espada theme.

I'm pretty sure the answer is that Kubo named them after architects because Kubo, personally, is a fan of architecture. There's no thematic link, it's just references to stuff he personally likes.

Changed my mind.
I like the name. Also it lets her blend into human population without anyone raising their eyebrows on hearing the name.

[X] Frizz

A reference to elementary school teacher Valerie Frizzle of The Magic School Bus. Frizzle has a few meanings, one of which connects to "frizz," describing curled hair. A simple name, like naming a Dalmatian "Spot."

I'm recommending Frizz, aside from the double consonant, because a deity does not have to direct or offer guidance on every virtue of our lives. This daughter can enlighten as many or as few people as she chooses with the beauty and wonder of the universe.

"Hope" but in Spanish is still Hope and I dislike that so I don't want Esperanza to win.

By the way, since nobody mentioned it Isabel/Isabella comes from the Hebrew Elisheva, which roughly means "Divine Oath" or "My God is of Oaths"

Aleph's reasoning is solid... But more importantly, I like The Owl House.

[X] Isabella
It's not a proper Spanish name... But it still breaks the top 100 female baby names in Spain, so that's good enough for me.
