Questionable Questing is known as the 'third' of the SB/SV/QQ forum trifecta. Actually a bit older than SV.
It's basically like SB/SV, except with a ton of lewd stuff, and some people that prefer looser rules than SB/SV. Also politics is verboten so there's no flaming shithole filled with it.
There's also a pretty big user crossover with SV/SB, so you see a lot of familiar faces.

I mean I just resurrected my quest that had been dormant for nearly 2 years, so I'm doing that for a bit.
But yes, I intend to come back to this pretty soon as well. Problem is that I am and have always been a sporadic (at best) writer.

Still ongoing. I typically write in spare-time at work, since it's a very slow job and I write better sitting at a desk.
I've been sick today and will likely be sick tomorrow still, but as a status update the next chapter has a touch over 1k words so far.

I typically alternate updates between this and my Utsuho quest, Threat Quest.
My general aim for updates is at least one every week or so.

Maribel's certainly white, and the implication is that Maribel is Yukari (Lafcadio Hearn moved to Japan and naturalised his name as Koizumi Yakumo), ergo Yukari is probably white.


Incidentally, Yukari being the strongest in Touhou is fanon (and largely Western fanon at that). Strong? Yes. Versatile? Yes. Knowledgeable? Yes. Well-connected? Yes. But she's never stated and never claimed to be THE STRONGEST (indeed, if you really wanted to pick through the canon to find a "strongest", the one with the most implications of such is probably actually Kazami Yuuka).

Actually wouldn't it be Hecatia? She's got stronger implications compared to Yuuka. Like, there's an interview with ZUN explicitly stating that Hecatia is "completely past the level of anyone in Gensokyo or the Lunar Capital." Considering that Hecatia outranks Eiki in her organization and "rules" over a social Darwinist/anarchic Hell, I'm inclined to think so as well.
 
Hecatia is explicitly the strongest Touhou series character to date by Word of ZUN. We don't know for certain if that includes PC98s like Shinki, or characters only alluded to in the lore like Amaterasu. She's certainly the strongest character to appear in the Windows games, though.

As for the strongest youkai... Depends on your sources. Yuuka and Suika are both called that by different people in canon.
 
Suika is Strongest Oni. Yuuka is Strongest Youkai. Hecatia is Strongest Goddess.
Yukari is Most Powerful Youkai, which is different than 'Strongest' :p

I think that you could say that Yukari is more powerful by default, while Yuuka had to Taylor/munchkin her way up into the "Strongest" status like Taylor did with bugs, but instead with flowers?
 
I went through the Touhou wiki several times, and Yuuka and Eiki are possibly the strongest Touhou character. But its still a little confusing, I mean how can you beat Yukari who has the complete control over boundaries?! She can probably make any attack go from 'Effective' to 'Non-Effective', there is a lot of abilities in Touhou who counter the abilities of others and the latter can too counter-counter the others, no that it literally matters unless the SI decide on a whim that he will bring over every bullshit OP character on Worm with her.

It really depends. Yukari doesn't do absolutes well, for one, because those totally aren't boundaries. Whatever she's pulling is probably not totally airtight, which is of course very much in keeping with youkai lore. There's got to be a chance of escape, after all, however tiny.
Relatedly, Eiki may or may not hard counter Yukari depending on how you interpret her ability - the ability to enforce rigid lines on boundary conditions shuts down a lot of what Yukari can theoretically do.

Perhaps even more importantly, power levels are basically meaningless in Gensokyo. That's the entire point of the spell card system. Of course, that doesn't really help Brockton Bay.
 
You know, now that I think about it, Utsuho Reiuji, the Nuclear Hell Raven, is one of the only characters in Touhou who wouldn't be able to trounce the Endbringers. Hell, even Cirno would be able to do something with going to absolute zero for example.
