Stop: I'm pretty sure I was clear before
i'm pretty sure i was clear before But apparently not, so I'm gonna be a bit more forceful here.
Oh, gee, I never thought of that. What a brilliant flare of insight. Just sleep. Oh, wait.

It's not that fucking simple.

I warned you to tone it down Kaiya. I explicitly said to avoid the abrasiveness. However, since you can't seem to control yourself in this situation I'm gonna take the choice out of your hands for a bit and give you some time to cool off.

Because Kaiya has locked her profile so people can't PM her.

And that's perfectly fine. She doesn't need to unlock her profile if she doesn't want to. However Gamerlord, I've already told you to drop the topic.

There's literally no reason for you to be discussing something that was already deemed off limits. So this is my final warning: either drop the topic and leave well enough alone, or take a timeout. Your choice.

As for the others...well. This hasn't become an 'all the Exalted fans are assholes so let's talk about how and why they're such assholes' thread. So let's stop talking about that, and get to talking about something a bit more productive.

If you can't, then that's something I'm gonna have to deal with. And y'all aren't going to want me to deal with that, so please be on your best behavior.

Information: SHALL WE NOT?
That's nice.

This is dumb. First, you literally suggest that I must prove a negative without first proving your own assertion, then suggest a rather ridiculous inference about my lived experience. But just fyi, I've never met any one individual straight from the second Edition of Exalted the Roleplaying Game by White Wolf. I have however met a great many actual people.
shall we not? This is edging towards both a bit to hostile and spaghetti-ish. Chill some. Even if your points are valid, making them too laden with sarcasm and snark can undermine them.

Alert: HELLO, FELLOW KIDS
hello, fellow kids
If he speaks in real life like here....

It must be like umbridge.
Debate about Touch of Sepia's personality or teaching technique is not the thread topic. So everyone can drop it. Further derailing onto the topic will be looked at closely for Rule 4 violation as a derail.

Stop: THIS THREAD IS UNDER TIGHT STANDARDS ALREADY
this thread is under tight standards already
Well, I am a teacher Greg.
Just like a classroom, I can't let one person ruin it for everyone else. There was a sigh of relief when you left and you probably should learn that you need to respect an ST's calls if you want to have a game that lasts any length of time.
This level of condescension is unacceptable, especially in a thread with a nice big banner saying 'You will be civil and polite'. 25 points and 3 days out, and given your history in this thread, any further troubles will see much longer ones.

Stop: Hello yes this is your reminder that the thread policy still exists
hello yes this is your reminder that the thread policy still exists @Dif no matter how strongly you feel about a topic, SV's rules still stand. Take 25 points and a 2 week break from the thread, under Rules 3 & 5.

Also, I'll remind the thread at large that this is the Exalted Megathread, not a soap opera. Keep on topic, please and thank you.

Stop: If everyone could calm down
if everyone could calm down
Yeah, that one is a real black mark on my record, I'm sure, being disrespectful here to a guy who by turns holds this thread and the folks in it in contempt but is also totally game to slum down here when it helps shill his work. When no one can point at a habitual shit-stirrer and call them on it to their face, you might as well tag this thread with a [+] tag, because we're going full rpg.net on refusing to call a spade a spade for the sake of not ruffling feathers.

And ulterior motives nothing, I may well be the asshole here but at least that's an actionable position one can hold, rather getting up in arms about Civility Discourse and hand-wringing endlessly about how disagreements mean people make might fun of us on the internet, oh no!

Whatever your personal grudges are, if you are infracted and temporarily threadbanned for violating the rules, your first action upon returning to the thread should not be to violate thread policy again. Last time it was 25 points and two weeks out. This time it's 50 points and a two months threadban under rules 4 & 5. Let us not have a third incident.

Cute, but I don't actually care. I am running a game with Storypath, not Exalted 3e and have several times in this game explained my dislike for several of the mechanics in Third Edition. I'm friends with @EarthScorpion, @Imrix and @Aleph; all vocally against 3e. Yet, it was you who out of nowhere erupted into something that can only blatantly be summarized as a complete lack of respect for a fellow poster on the forum, and you are the one, who when challenged on this responds to personal insinuations and something that can only be called dishonesty of the highest rank. Don't play games Dif, we all know you're just as guilty of ulterior motives as you accuse me of. What's happening here is not me trying to suppress you so I can rub elbows with a guy who wrote an edition that took three years to release, what's happening is that you're being an asshole and I'm showing you the door.

While this (along with the other two posts) is relatively mild and doesn't violate the rules, please picture me tapping my foot and glancing sternly at the thread policy. Tone down the condescension in the future, please. A Staff Notice has been logged against your account.

please do not multi-post. use the edit button instead @Accelerator, in the future please refrain from multi-posting - meaning the successive posting of multiple post without there being posts from other people.

Use instead the edit button, which can be found at the bottom of any of your post, to insert any new content into your last post.

While there can be situations where multi-posting can be useful - like when posting informative or story-posts that differ significantly in topic - there is no need to make a new post for a single line.

I have merged your posts where applicable.
