Random question: is there any chance that other 'Advanced Classes' will be listed?
Random question: is there any chance that other 'Advanced Classes' will be listed?
For instance, on the Star Wars wiki, these specializations are listed under Jedi Sentinel:
Likewise, under Jedi Consular, there are:
- Artisan-- specialize in constructing lightsabers
- Investigator -- specialize in tracking and law enforcement
- Technicians -- specialize in droids and technology
You've already included all of the Guardian specializations as 'Advanced Classes'. Will any of the above be made available?
- Ambassador -- specialize in first contact and negotiating treaties
- Lore Keeper -- includes three sub-specializations of archivist (storing/collating information), librarian (retrieving information) and historian (knowledge of the origins and history of both the Jedi and Republic). All three work extensively with holocrons as well.
- Researcher -- includes all kinds of sub-specializations, including archaeology, linguistics, mathematics, biology, geology, and astronomy. Most researchers work extensively with the Lore Keepers (to keep the Jedi Library updated) and the force sensitives of four Jedi Service Corps.
- Seer -- specialize in foresight, having & interpreting Force visions
Earlier on you mentioned the Noble class that we could get if we went with Dooku, is that still the case? Most likely not...under the Sentinel, you'll have to the option to choose a civilian class soon that will offer similar things.
And under the consular, those are classes I would only see working with the Jedi. And you're not a Jedi anymore
To confirm: the civilian class options would only be offered for a Sentinel? (So a Guardian/Consular dual class would not have the same options?)Most likely not...under the Sentinel, you'll have to the option to choose a civilian class soon that will offer similar things.
Ehh... yes and no. Lore Keepers work with the Jedi Library, but any Force User could become a Historian and plumb the depths of the galactic past. (Plus we already have two holocrons to analyze, so that's a leg up already). Ambassadors work as official Republic diplomats, but House Dooku is descended from Jedi Lords that specialize in diplomacy. Seers specialize in Force Visions, which are hardly unique to Jedi (there's a long list of Force sects that specialize in Seers...). Finally, 'Researcher' seems to encompass any Jedi that uses the Force for other kinds of technical knowledge -- a Jedi Astronomer uses the Force to anticipate hyperlane routes (better than a navcomputer) or to open the hyperspace barrier that locks out the rest of the Unknown Regions from exploration (hence the Outbound Flight's association with the Jedi Order). 'Archaeologist' could include any historian that specializes in fieldwork, especially working in major Force vergences and nexuses, like Yavin IV or Ossus. There are a lot of options here, to use the Force for things other than combat, and few of them require affiliation with the Jedi. And under the consular, those are classes I would only see working with the Jedi. Civilian classes are the same regardless of your Jedi class. To confirm: the civilian class options would only be offered for a Sentinel? (So a Guardian/Consular dual class would not have the same options?)
EDIT: or did you mean that there is one particular civilian class that is only offered for a Sentinel, but other civilian classes may be unlocked by a Guardian or Consular?
