Mm, I know that's a fairly popular sentiment, but if we don't vote in exactly the right way at basically two points (when we get to select masters-which tbh feels too early to do anything, or when we somehow become disillusioned with the Jedi-which might not happen), we're likely stuck with the Coruscanti for the long haul. Meanwhile, we have the holocron to learn most of the basic skill we'd have as an initiate, and could probably find different sources of knowledge even the Jedi don't have if we're willing to explore and adventure out in the galaxy- which the Jedi themselves would probably be pretty leery of until we reach knight rank.

I feel like Palawan is more like: hella restricted -> kind of restricted but kind of free -> free but your teacher is going to give you tasks to do and mess with you during them
While the Jedi are like: constantly watched but you can do what you want during your scanty free time if you're not being seduced by the dark (for a longer time than Teras' first stage) -> you can do what your master allows you in addition to the training they demand if you/they are not being seduced by the dark -> you can do what you want under the guidance of the Jedi Council if you are not being seduced by the dark

Force powers used in opposition have a much higher chance of failure. The QM mentioned this so many posts ago lol. It was more about being able to learn Dark Side techniques.
I also came across this while going through YouTube. I think there was a Teleport at the end.....holy frak!
Also this if that wasn't enough.
It'll probably be more like increasing use of anger and such emotions that the Sith rely to gain power.

but keep in mind that requires an Anakin chaotic enough to go against the tenets and strictures of the Coruscanti Jedi. You'd need to make sure he deviates enough from his seemingly current path to even consider it.

I'm seriously confused by this. I've looked up every mention of the followers and they don't even really seem to be a particularly knowledgeable sect. There certainly is no mention of them having fucking midichlorian manipulation. Hell, you've jerked this around like fricking crazy, they're not even sith. If they had this sort of power they'd play some sort of role on the galactic stage rather than being hermits on some outer rim planet. Now you've just mary sue'd them beyond belief.

Says they studied Midichlorians...that said midichlorian manipulation isn't going to be control over life/death or the midichlorians of another etc. at least not for a long time of training. More akin to enhancing your own abilities.
And ace raptor is correct. I've altered canon a bit. Arden Lyn woke up a millennia or two ago, retook control of the followers and shaped them in her image

So we have good info on both decisions, also we have info that normally we would only get from high level shatterpoint. Well we can buy shatterpoint with chosen points, but to my knowledge the only current user of shatterpoint is Mace Windu. So if we want a teacher for that we need to go with the Jedi.
