Star Wars: The Chosen One (An Anakin Skywalker Quest)

I upped the ambition reward after the vote when I realized the scale was off. I believe I upped Teräs Käsi's rewars as well at the time.

mm, but even then I'm pretty sure we don't really know the big flaws and benefits of the options. I mean, people are saying the Jedi option has more freedom while the Palawan one doesn't.

I mean, that seems straight up wrong to me because the Jedi are going to have to teach Anakin a very rigid set of very different things that'd take up a lot of time, and leave very little to socialization or making friends.

Meanwhile the Teras Kasi, while training one thing to master, don't train nearly the breadth of skills the Jedi require Anakin to train, thus allowing us a lot more freedom to pursue other interests.

I'd see one as the one that trains many skills to a passable level, with little room for deviation, while the other trains one skill to mastery, and gives more wiggle room to do other things while you're there.

Am I right in this assessment?

But here are the definitive attributes of Teräs Käsi since I've beeb giving the pros of Jedi:

-Teräs Kasi mastery guaranteed
-OC's companions
-Dark Jedi Training once you've mastered Teräs Kasi
-access unfiltered to blue and red holocron
-more assassin style training
-mystic visions
-potential to take leadership of Palawa yourself
-access to old Sith histories and language
- first two years will be very "monk deprivation" but some nifty perk gains
-midichlorian manipulation training
-extend life...though that's true for Jedi eventually as well

Freedom will be equal for both in the sense of you doing what you want to...Jedis just a more structured freedom if that makes sense?

Firstly, I understand your frustration and it's not without cause. I'll say regarding the Jedi XP, I believe I changed that either in between Prologue 2 and 3 or 3 and Phantom Menace 1(can someone find that change? On phone atm) This is not a new change to incentive votes; it's a clerical error that was my fault. Copy and pasting the Sheet caused that to get lost.

I edited that ambition up when i did after it had been voted on bc I realized with my current rate of XP that only 10k was far too low a reward. You'll be level 20ish at least when you complete it if you do. Currently it takes around 4K XP to level up. That will increase a lot by the time you're in the 20s

Thank you for addressing my concerns, and linking your change. I do appreciate it, though I have a question. Why is their more exp and chosen points for the Jedi option rather than Teras Kasi's? One player said it might be due to more prestige, but I would like to hear your opinion.

The one problem I have with the Jedi is that they don't allow themselves to have material wealth.
I propose we learn how to hack and secretly take away all the Confederacy's money/credits/loot while beating up their droids and taking over their facilities/spaceships/planets in the name of the Republic.
Edit: All for the sake of the inevitable separation of ourselves from the Jedi Order.

[X] [Story] Write-in: Go with Qui-Gon and join the Jedi. Tell Master Zan about the offer to study at the Jedi academy. Say that it was a dream of ours to become a Knight, but that training under her has been an honor. Ask if, upon passing the Trials, we could come study under her once more. If she says yes, ask her if there's a means to contact her on her home planet and if she has any independent study materials we could use while at the Academy. If she says no, express our regret.

Time and energy. Mastering Teräs Kasi is simply mastering a skill. Jedi Knight requires story line decisions and actual quests. You'll be a lower level when you master Teräs Käsi if you focus it than Knight Ambition. So that's why the difference

Right then. Changing vote.

Fellow Pawala voters you should know what this means...

Space Ra's al Ghul is a go!

-midichlorian manipulation training

THIS IS INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT.

LIKE, HOLY SHIT THAT'D BLOW ANY OF THE BASIC TECHNIQUES THE JEDI CAN TEACH US OUT OF THE WATER.

Also, this is what I was talking about. You toned the option to look like it was only Teras Kasi we'd be able to learn there, but stuff like this was hiding behind there.

I just want us to be there if we roll for Maul to come to the farm. We can then at least influence things somewhat then find out sometime after that they all died. We have Master Zan there and afew things to bargain with if he shows up.

If we do that, he'll just escape when he senses danger because of the bomb.
There is Force Suppression and Force Breach to cut something's connection to the Force. There are so many techniques out there. Force Powers. We won't be able to use Drain Knowledge since that is a Dark Side technique and could have sped up learning a bunch of things. My idea after Palawa was to travel around to interesting places and pick off criminals and Dark Force users we come across for massive boosts while not having a fleet after us.

We could take our time, like 60 years to build up our skills in secret before making a Jedi related move.

Freedom will be equal for both in the sense of you doing what you want to...Jedis just a more structured freedom if that makes sense?
With the Jedi we learn Jedi skills but can pick. With the Martial Arts we could pick anything like blasters or piloting. Makes sense.

I gave you a funny for this, since this is the exact kind of thing the Jedi would disapprove of. They are above material wealth. So when we get stuck as a Padawan for hacking the Banking Clan's Bank, I just lolz at that. That is the kind of rebelious thing the Council would frown on. Just like canon Anakin ;p

Just gonna day y'all should consider all this information as if you had mastered shatterpoint. Further decisions won't have as much info

Now the vote will be a lot closer, since this is like the Holy Grail of Force Powers. It created this quest after all. ;)

If manage to hit him with one of those, then why not just stab him with a Lightsaber/Vibroblade or shoot him with a blaster? Seems more foolproof to me.

We will if we get Center of The Force. We might even be able to use it without that, depending on whether the mechanics for using opposite-aligned powers are "you can't" or "they cost more".
