Star Wars: The Chosen One (An Anakin Skywalker Quest)

Recently found this, and I'm wondering whether Anakin will pick up magic.
Not so much Sith Sorcery, as the magic seen in some of the Ewoks cartoons (yes, I remember them) and possibly the Willow movie and spin-off books.

We could go to Dathomir, but they typically only train women/girls. Might still be worth a shot.

Recreating the Jedi Lords with the other big names of our generation, such as Aayla Secura, Kit Fisto and Others

If we can convince them to go against their teachings since the Jedi do work through an indoctrination method as they do take children when they're very young. And I can understand why they do it, but also why people don't like this.

I believe the 15 hour ban on voting is up if my counting isn't off, so I am going ahead and cast my vote out there. My voting block gets cookies FYI.

Most people will want to vote Frustrated, but I suggest Anger. Anakin needs to learn how to deal with Anger now as a child before he gets older and broody. As for leaving, I would say that coming to the attention of the Sith is a terrible outcome. We want to avoid that and no benefit of the Temple can offset that disadvantage. COME ON PALAWA! :p

It's more that we could convince our friends and fellows (once they become Knights) that there is illegal slavery and other atrocities and wars going on in the rim. Use our experiences, and the experiences of others who have suffered (Aayla Secura was notably a slave before being rescued) to inform them of the suffering out there, that the Order and Senate doesn't know about and isn't stopping, then tell them the best way to fix it is to stop wasting time sitting around meditating and do as the Order was built to. Help people.

Once we're away from the temple we can influence them and add some Dark Side techniques to both our arsenal and theirs, as we won't be under the scrutiny of the matters anymore.

[X] [Story] Write-in: Go with Qui-Gon and join the Jedi. Tell Master Zan about the offer to study at the Jedi academy. Say that it was a dream of ours to become a Knight, but that training under her has been an honor. Ask if, upon passing the Trials, we could come study under her once more. If she says yes, ask her if there's a means to contact her on her home planet and if she has any independent study materials we could use while at the Academy. If she says no, express our regret.

I can't vote for anything that takes away R2.

That sounds awesome and very similar to Revan during the Mandalorian Wars.

I would like to join the Followers, but I already know that we are going to leave the Jedi eventually, so it makes no reason not to at least learn some things from them and give it a shot at fulfilling our ambition.

I'm actually more worried how our family will react to our choice, since I don't want them thinking we're abandoning them.

Anakin is 8, he needs learn to deal with his anger, we won't get a better time to do this. There is no palpatine around to use anakin's anger against him right now.

If we actually want to pull a Revan, we will need to really grind our charisma.

With the dice how they are and the fact Anakin was made by Palpatine and his Master, we are likely to come to his attention.
Anakin wasn't made 'by' them, but in reaction to their attempts.

Ummmm, what can magic do that the Force can't. Unless you have Harry Potter type magic with insane levels of utility and prepared spells?
Creation of objects of power, and transfiguration/transmutation of objects and creatures, matter creation.

Joining the Jedi is now or never, wait and then we'll be too old for admission into the Order. Meanwhile we can come back later, since we're already planning to leave the Order, and learn from the Followers.

Exactly. It works, and there are a lot of fond memories of the Jedi Lords amongst the Order. Call ourselves that and use Revans tried and tested tactics. It has a good chance of success in my opinion.
They had actual Sith to fight against and wouldn't be going up against the Russan Reformation. The galactic situation is quite different.

There is a risk they will sense him, the dice can be evil. And he will get on the 'To Kill' list regardless. Sith Alchemy does all of that.

Also there are other orders/Masters out there. Coruscanti Jedi aren't the end all of Jedi.

And now they have a corrupt and weak senate as well as a leadership which cannot effectively protect areas in the Rim. They'd be willing to look the other way in many cases, they know what's going on, many masters have seen it. They don't like it but they don't have any power, we would be a way to stop it they'd initially be reluctant to go against. And as I said, some histories have a fond memory of the Jedi Knights and their accomplishments which would give us some leeway initially as well.
