Star Wars: The Chosen One (An Anakin Skywalker Quest)

There is another Jedi on Tattooine that is partially being raised by Tusken Raiders/Sandpeople. I wonder if we'll ever be able to interact with said Jedi...

You want to meet the guy who becomes (or in this case, may or may not become, depending on circumstances) Darth Krayt in the distant future?

@UbeOne why not? As long we don't go all slash and stab on Tusken for no good reason, there's no reason A'Sharad and Anakin couldn't be good friends and allies down the line. If we save a good Jedi from falling, all the better.

What about the double-bladed lightsaber?
Double bladed always seemed like a good way to hurt yourself. You are in essence using a quarterstaff without the benefit of being able to extend your reach. Dual wielding you can block from two directions at the same time, double bladed you cannot. And the main problem with dual wielding (coordination and tiring) is solved by being a Jedi (or other force user).

Why not, indeed, but how would circumstances align to make that happen?

If I remember my EU/Legends correctly, his father, Sharad Hett..he brings A'Sharad to the Jedi Temple to begin his training around this time, if we're a few years before the events of The Phantom Menace as we are..They could interact in training classes a few years down the line. I'd do an omake if GM allows such.

Maybe I'm just overexcited and trying to fit a square peg into a round hole here; The Legacy comics are my favorite part of the EU and the writers did a good job making Krayt a Big Bad IMO. It'd be interesting to see him grow as a Jedi alongside Anakin and serve together during the Clone Wars, should they come to pass.

I don't have the hang of this quests time windows yet when do they close

I initially had set schedule, as I saw discussion/votes die a day or two before deadlines I just started basing it on that.

Planning on closing votes tonight at 7 if either distrust or respect can get a larger lead. If not I'll extend voting

Personaly I don't like two lightsabers. I Airways fine dual welding as an overestimate style fighting in médias and realy not so cool than that. I prefer single lightsaber with à style like makashi or double blade.

Dual or double will require you to train in Jar'kai style to offset the penalties but dual or double is a 2D roll as opposed to 1D

I prefer Niman myself for no other reason than that I always thought that you'd need to know Form I-V, excepting II, to be a true master as it combines most if not all kata of those forms, to allow the user to incorporate Force abilities all throughout fights. It's also a tricky since you need to be creative to make use of its full potential. I find this very appealing for some reason.

I'm agree. Niman is my favorite form of lightsaber with Makashi.

I would love learning vapaad from Mace windu, the only jedi who bested Palpatine during the clone war era. Vapaad is supposed to be pretty effective against darkside users.

Though, from what I remember it is also supposed to be pretty difficult to learn and comes with Darkside just around the corner. Still worth it.

Anakin also has the inner darkness necessary to truly use the form.

[X] Jedi: Distrust: The Jedi Code provide a way to live, but was it the best way to live for a force user?

I will not let us live a life of a Monk. Let's take Aayla, Kit Fisto and any other progidy memebers Of our generation and restart the Jedi Lords

[X] Doubt: The Jedi Code sounds like the kind of neat idea that the rich and powerful can follow, but doesn't really work for normal people.
[X] Focused: Learning Teras Kasi had given you self-control over your emotions and provided a way to let them out.
[X] To leave Tatooine: You wish to leave the planet. (500 XP) NEW!
[X] To Visit Naboo: You wish to visit the Planet Padme comes from (500 XP) NEW
[X] Offer them your money to purchase the parts.

[X] Guarded Respect: The code guided the Jedi and served them well over thousands of years, but it may or may not be for you.

[X] Plan Destiny
-[x] Prophesy of the Force (1 Points): You receive a dream unveiling your true destiny (beginning of The Balance questline)
-[x] Late night walk with Padme
-[x] One last (?) training with Master Zan
-[x] Apprentice Speaker: +4 Charisma
-[x] Novice Philosopher: +2 Wisdom
-[x] Novice Student: + 2 Intelligence

Well, I, at least, wouldn't be against some other love interest for Anakin. The whole Padme thing creeped me out in canon, what with them meeting when he was a little kid and then his ten years of obsession over her...

@Arthellion have you considered using tags (like [Perks] or [Ambition]) for your votes in this quest? it would massively clean up the tally since you like to have 3+ separate topics in each voting period.

I haven't. Still a bit new to SV's formatting

Mind showing an example?

Niman has it strengths, but also its weaknesses. Its a jack-of-all-trades, and doesn't do any one thing particularly well. What's probably best is if we could master a bunch of lightsaber styles for different circumstances. I'd like it we could pick up a bit of Soresu. It served Obi-wan remarkably well over the years.
