[x] Plan DkArthas

I like most of this plan. The only point I'm a little iffy on is the Distrust angle, I'd rather go with Guarded Respect, but I can take a little hit to that. The New Code is kinda hard to live by if you don't have a living sophont to explain the nuances to you after all. It's easy to think it's based in denial rather than acceptance unless someone actually explains that in a way the listener can comprehend. I somehow doubt a random Jedi's Holocron is going to manage that terribly well. Maybe if it was Master Vodo's or something, but as it is? Out and out distrust is acceptable to me at the moment.

I will say, if an opinion on the Old Code comes up at some point, then I'm probably going to vote in favor of liking that. It's a lot less prone to misinterpretation that causes Jedi style stagnation. Granted, the New Code causes less confusion leading to Falling, but so what? If you're going to be a mystic space monk with supernatural powers drawn from the universe, you should have to deal with a bit of perplexity.

I believe both plans stemmed out of a comparison of the old code Anakin got from the Holocron. They are similar in thought, but different in outlook. Distrust sees the change as more negative due to the lack emotional necessity as part of it, while Guarded sees it as a change, and change happens for a reason.

I personally prefer Distrust. I want Anakin to be a real bad boy in the Jedi. Not the emo nonsense from the movies, but someone who actually doesn't give two shits about their pointless rules and drives them all up the walls as they deal with his antics. I hope there is a pranking option once we get to the Temple. Reprogram the droids to dye the laundry/robes bright pink and orange. Play some punk rock over the speakers in various rooms. Make Yoda's hover chair float an extra foot higher. Change class names on the schedules (you know it will all be on pads) to more hilarious interpretations. Instead of Meditation 101, you have Rock Garden Imitation, Lightsaber Practice would be Dance Off.

Nothing harmful, but enough to make the old fuddy duddy Jedi want to cry as their serenity is broken. OH, a public appreciation day. Send out a fake memo to the gate guards and then open up the Temple to the public for a day. ;p

Also, I have figured out my lategame goal.

I think its high time someone brought the Jedi Lords back, or something similar. We needed a group more connected to the Galaxy than the current calcified order, and I personally always liked the idea of these families being their own groups that were beholden to, but independent of, the greater order.

At the very least, I'd like to meet up with some of the non-coruscanti branches, like the green Jedi or the Altisians. Mainly the ones that don't have a stick shoved straight up their butts about love and marriage. Most of those, given their distance from Coruscant, also tended to be rather competent by themselves, too.

What happens if we tie Guarded Respect and Distrust? Will we end up distrustful of the code, but respectful towards it?
