The Red Holocron hopefully will make us at least not the goody-goody Jedi. Wisdom will help us deal with the Dark Side and is, generally, good. And Shatterpoint will mean that the ideal teacher for us would be Windu. And we'd have an easier time dealing with choices.

I don't like doubt or distrust because I want Anakin to have a open mind.
Guarded respect is a more nuanced and better option imho. Giving respect to the code of the Jedi (that Anakin wants to become) for what it has been while also keeping a open mind.

When did the GM say that? Could you link it? I must have missed it. Also, we do have some of the fundamentals down and we're not yet set in our ways, so I think my plan has the chance to have the most interesting impact on Anakin and thus the most entertaining, so I'm going for it.

Also @DkArthas guarded respect is similar with less negative connotations. Basically we acknowledge that the Jedi have done well but they may not be our way or the only way. Also a better shot at going to Altisian Jedi or Corellian Jedi after we leave the Jedi Order upon becoming a Jedi Knight.
