Doesn't take an action, just requires altering behaviour during the time at the academy. atm you've been reclusive and mysterious, not particularly deliberately, you just haven't really paid any attention to the people around you. You don't know much of anything about the classmates or how you're viewed by them, so consider how you want to approach it carefully. You have a previous life so not interacting won't leave you incapable of socialisation. Of course half of socialisation is how you're perceived by others.

Relaxing our paranoia level and trying to interact with our new peers seems ideal to me.

Absolutely. The actions are what you're doing with your free time for a week, so you can certainly change how you operate during your non-free time.

It might work best to approach socialisation with a goal. "Create a network of social contacts." "Improve your reputation." "Make friends."

Good way to think of it. Detailed approach would certainly help, probs best to think about how you might currently be perceived, where you want to end up, and how you could reasonably get there.

MC themselves lacks a physical description, was considering leaving it till you reached physical maturity, but eh, poss something to think about.

Goals: 1)Try to socialize with kids in our class. Join in with their games and conversations. Don't try to barge in, ask to be included.
2)Try to talk to the kid that keeps flinching away from us. Corner him if necessary. See if you can find out what about us that keeps making him run away from us. And hopefully, see if we can get him to stop being scared of us.
 
I get that we're perceived as a genius. Don't have any problem being that except that we're clan-less with no network.

Best if we start collecting info on the kiddies asap. Info gathering is always good. I'm also of the opinion that we're probably better off playing nice with some of the weaker clans present. We might have more leverage with them than the more powerful ones.

I think a cool detail might be that water country origins aren't too uncommon to Kumo-nin since that would be an easy place to get bloodlines and clans during the incessant civil wars. Maybe sprinkling some names here and there could be cool and help explain how Kumo's early bloodline obsession.

Names could be reflected by characteristics relating to clans or techniques or obvious descriptions of personal traits. Something to kind of fit in with Kumo's blunt and militaristic culture would fit too.

Locking the training actions, seems to be a decent consensus for three of the actions, with one vote for double agility, and one for double lightning, but two for double control so that takes it.

Update 10: Let's be honest, I already know what you're buying
It's another month of theory, but with some actual practice application this time. A good half of it is survival information, how to keep warm, how to start fires, what plants are dangerous, how to make a rudimentary shelter, how to pack a bag properly. You aren't really sure how much of it the class is going to retain, it lacks the high drama of ninja jumping around spitting fireballs out of their mouths, but it's probably far more useful. You've been camping before so you know some of it, but this assumes a near total lack of the gear you're used to. Granted they likely expect that when they get around to it they'll have proper equipment but it's better to build on fundamentals. Truth be told all your prior experience with this will likely buy you is how to power through pain and discomfort, which still has worth at least.

There's some very basic tactics covered which you're fairly certain isn't actually for the purpose of teaching manoeuvres to your class, but just to get them used to the idea of planning and analysis. They do actually cover some weapon skills this month as well, including throwing of kunai. In this a good half of the class have you easily beaten, evidently having had some experience with this beforehand. They aren't doing much more than covering basics here either, they certainly don't expect you to master knife throwing overnight. Mostly it's covering the correct way to hold and throw kunai, so they don't spin wildly out of control and so you don't risk getting cut on your own weapon from a bad block.

You've tried to be somewhat more sociable. You aren't being a budding social manipulator but you've eased up on the whole 'Aloof inscrutable enigma' thing you sort of had going. At least the rest of the class seems to be a bit more at ease with you, for the most part. They're not exactly inviting you to parties but it's hard to be weirded out by the kid who seems at ease who'll happily lend you a pen and throws the occasional casual comment into the ongoing conversations. There are fifteen of you in the class, yourself included, and you think they're all clan kids barring yourself and maybe two others. You've picked out a few as being from particularly notable clans; Akiyama, Yamaguchi, and Wakahisa, the Akiyama kid being the most social of them. The kid who seems to be creeped out by you, if not quite as much as before, is a Tsukino, who seem fairly respectable. There's also a pair of Mizushima brothers, two Koziumi kids, those two seem to be from different families. Lastly there's a Hisakawa, a Fukui, a Oshiro, a Tachibana, a Mori and a Moto. You don't in honestly know much of anything about the clans in Cloud, but you admittedly haven't really been in a position to find out much.

I agree, and this seems like a swell plan. I'd also like us to become more knowledgeable about human anatomy and become a medical ninja. I remember Kabuto got a Rasengan in the gut, and simply laughed it off as he off-handedly regenerated perforated lungs, broken ribs and pulped intestines.

"A Hogake-level, S-ranked technique? Bitch please, I know iryojutsu."

Then there's the Kage of Cloud, which is the second fastest man alive, beaten only by the teleporting Minato. And the lightning technique A uses more or less makes him move as fast as lightning. Everything comes to a complete halts as he coats himself in his armor and spelunkes around, nothing but a blur of white and blue for even those wielding the sharingan.

EDIT: I think the first technique we should develop should be one that let's us hear from farther away. Might get us some juicy info. Maybe we can try placing chakra near in whatever tenketsu lies close to our ears? Worth trying next turn I think.

I think you're referring to the:

-Profane Void - Any of the Tailed Beasts recognise your nature on sight, though whether they tell their Jinchuuriki is a different matter. It is unpleasant to use medical ninjutsu on you. It works fine, but it isn't very pleasant for the one doing it, something feels wrong.


In the character sheet, yeah? I don't see the problem. If anything, we want it for the self-sustaining properties and inherent advantage in simply fixing ourselves up. And, if we ever encounter a Byakugan/Sharingan/Rinnegan user we can steal their eyes and transplant 'em ourselves with little difficulty.
 
Update 11: Stacking bonuses on bonuses
Dropping by one of the equipment stores in Cloud you're able to find a set of old basic weights. The store owner is happy to see them go as they don't really get much call for worn weights in Cloud, and they're second hand besides, though he does mention that if you find them too much and come back within the week he'll take them back for a refund. Yeah, you don't think you'll be taking advantage of that.

Basic Worn Weight Set gained. -1 to Agility and Stamina when worn, 50% bonus to Strength and Stamina training actions. Applies up till Attribute level five.

As part of the preparation this month they actually go through a full series of stretches and exercises. It's actually incredibly useful, you've mainly been sort of muddling your way through, and whilst you may have a superb sense of balance an actual proper regimen is more than helpful. When it comes to taijutsu, you're certainly outclassed. None of the other kids are martial arts savants exactly, but more than a few of them have apparently had prior experience, some with family styles to build on. You're fast, and you have great reactions, which helps a lot, but skill has to be learned the patient way. You're getting used to the feel of the weights at least.

Should we take advantage of the 50% to Strength and Stamina and devote two actions/weeks to them? Also, next turn covers taijutsu and we just gained Taijutsu 1. Should we work on that too? Otherwise my plan is...
