I would like to point out that, in TPK's game, this exact same reason was given to day-vig me. And it turned out I was Town, and my "wild" theory was actually kind of correct.

Could I get you to say exactly what "doesn't seem to make much sense", and I can try to explain or address your concerns? Because otherwise you're using reasoning that was proven, in a prior game not too long ago, to be wrong.
 
I find atk50 more suspicious than Winged Cat. If Winged Cat is lying, then we'll find out very soon and can lynch him then. There's no need to push to kill him now.

Winged Cat kill either Megaolix or Atk50. If you really feel like it then kill pawn lelouch. Killing atk50 would provide information on someone who may or may not be scum. We do afterall have shadow shinobi as giving off scum vibes.

While I find Lelouches advice on some things like TPKs normal behaviour and pointing out some logic flaws in my theories, I haven't noticed anything actually Villagey that he's said.

I'm the Village Blacksmith. And unfortunately for all, my skills are of no use for this.

This is why I'm seriously dubious of Cat's claims. As TPK can also confirm that vanilla roles are present, I find it highly dubious to have multiple factions with multiples powers and then give town a low number. Winged Cat's entire 'reveal' was about 'Leave me alive, I'm really just a survivor that happen to ping enemy'.

Fucking bullshit. Survivors don't happen to know so much nor have a one-shot kill. Either he's scum trying to gain trust early or he's that other wizard.

So I found these day 1 posts interesting from Winged Cat. But like I said before even if you don't believe them, a very fair thing to suggest after we have gotten some vanilla claims, is the imbalance of Winged Cat's suggested set-up "indicated by their role PM" as a game with town starting outnumbered by non-town when town isn't chocked full of power roles isn't balanced. So while I don't believe Winged Cat's claim they are stuck in their claim and remain the simplest fall-back lynch in the game and we still have quite a bit of this day left. (However if we do have a vigilante like role in the wings it wouldn't be unreasonable to utilize it against Winged Cat if they do not get lynched today, though most vigilantes are x-shot so its still up to you.)

Also @Cakestepid Welcome to the game. :D

Going to post this at this moment and try and remember what I wanted to say before I got distracted and get that post out.

I would once more like to confirm that I am the Village Fisherman, but that all I fish for are normal fish. Fishing for wizards or knife killers would be quite silly of me. I do not intend to hook anything but fish, after all, and I would never dream of going fishing for information. Or men.

Now let us not hide behind the aegis of "but that's not balanced", because most of our games are horribly balanced on SV. What we can do is let the next night or two tell us about the format. We are only on day 2, after all, and we avoided a scum kill last night. Winged Cat has also gone on the record as saying that he admits his proposed numbers are just a hunch, and not something he was definitely given.

Not saying we should trust Winged Cat or his information quite yet, but I don't think we need to lynch him today either, not when there are other people we could try to drag information out of instead.

I ask @LostDeviljho again, what is your ability and will you allow Town to verify that it is what you say it is tonight? That will let us trust you, and let me expand my little fishing expedition.
 
So I just got caught up, and IMO Winged cat's claims smell of absolute bullshit to me. It's just too much information for a survivor to have. The dynamic of having a two sets of factions against each other seems interesting, but I don't know how it holds up from a balance perspective. But as TPK said, most games are not well balanced on this site. I see no reason why Mega's claim should not hold up, TPK has confirmed the existence of Vanilla roles, so I am just gonna hold off on my vote for now.

It seems like a very vanilla game; it would be one thing if the wizards/hunters were both predisposed to align with Town, but purely third parties would leave a town of at least almost half vanillas rather underpowered.
