Warcraft: The Gurubashi Restoration

I admit I'm hesitant about the Blood Shadows and Dream Daggers options; those is are far more risky than I like and failure has some nasty consequences.

As for Bwonsamdi, I think we're going to have to take the plunge and hope he'll willing to be our friend on the other side.

This is tough since lots of risky options this turn and only one Loa Blessing, something that won't make it certain either.

I think we owe it to the Greyvines and our warriors to try and go through with request, but I personally want to build up Shadow Haunter numbers and only do one risky action like the scouting since might help increase odds on other option before actual marching out.

Also we have to choose between buffing Jojo directly or giving him a good guard unit. I think we can wait on golems since we have ettin, but Jojo needs better stats for fight against Dio.

I dunno what Bwonsamdi be up to, but uhh.
One way or another he gonna be busy soon, I think.
Then again given how Hakkar works…
Mebbe this won't be a bad idea after all. I don't see Halkar getting to win the contest, or if he does itll cost him dearly.

Okay, plan is simple build up right now and putting blessing on scouting since hardest one and our intrigue advisor is the one asking for it since we are in need of info.

Want extreme training to get Jojo ready for a close up fight if need be since that sword of his will likely be very important for fight.

Edit: Cost: 5,100

Bwonsamdi, for all his faults, will keep his word and he wants Hakkar dead just as much as any of the other Loa.

This though, oh this is big. This is a chance to get his foot in the proverbial door.

It's one thing to help the assassin, maybe even a warrior or two, but revenge? Revenge for a whole tribe made by the precious few they left behind?

That's got some goddamn weight to it.

He pulls this off then their loved ones might pay him favor, the other trolls of the city will see that when he wants something dead he'll damn well keep it down, and if he offs Hakkar, something he'd want to do anyway?

Well there's a bump on the resume you can't help but take note of.

@torroar question, for those of us who might not want to take either risky intrigue option could there be a choice to not use a free action at all? Just curious.

Hakkar is a literal existential threat to the Gurubashi. The Hakkari are, as per the Greens, actively working to summon him.

Attempting to avoid risk or danger while knowing that you are going to have to go over there with some rather major urgency is not really an option.

Very good point, just thought I'd ask.

On another note, I wonder if there can't be a chance to save Eranikus at all if we can get rid of Hakkar and his influence. Would get us big points with Green Dragonflight and return some of strength back to them too.

There's another reason to call on Bwonsamdi. Normally, any of the Atal'ai that get killed go to Hakkar, empowering him as he devours their souls along with their heart's blood. But those empowered by Bwonsamdi, the souls of their kills go straight to him - not Hakkar, thereby depriving him of at least some of the power he'd get otherwise.

Forget the Gurubashi, Haakar's a threat to all Azeroth. His thirst is unquenchable; he won't stop at the Gurubashi. He gotta be stopped yesterday.
