Huh. You know, if I recall, Addy has never said or thought anything about Kara and Lena being attracted to eachother. Interesting that this QA is better at recognizing the signs.

Well, more that she doesn't really care about it, she probably has noticed.

So no fun times? I hoped atleast a few lethal weapons to keep people on their toes. But it seems Lena is going to be a super boring pasifist. Meh. Atleast melt a few annoying enemies.

You know, the perspective Kara had about Clark often devolving into combat likely has to do with a skewed perspective - the stuff that isn't like that isn't something people notice.

Also, one element often forgotten is that a lot of the reason people don't think Clark is Superman is because of the massive difference in how they behave. They're so different that it's basically Yin & Yang.
There was actually a tumblr post about it, having a few pages of a comic, which talked about it. It's been a while though.

This is something that Kara is only able to pull off to a lesser extent (at BEST), mostly with how she damages her things. Somewhat shown by how many civilians know (and as such, help cover for her), while Clark only is known to those he tells, (Bruce is the exception to the rule, of course)

Wow. Lena is a certified genius. She actually convinced QA not to produce concealed weaponry. Amazing.

Additionally, given what Minnie had seen of Lena's personality thus far, Minnie would be very surprised if Lena failed to develop an attachment sooner or later. If Lena would be too busy to spend time with her, then the obvious solution was to eliminate or mitigate the sources of Lena's problems.

"I would not be able to tolerate needing to hide for multiple years. In contrast, the challenges of becoming your ward, foster, or adopted child sound quite enjoyable."

Lena seemed as though she was about to choke on her tea before she managed to swallow and suppress the reflex, blinking rapidly. Only once she'd grabbed a white cloth napkin and held it to her mouth did she cough up the tea she'd inhaled. Minnie was impressed; she knew from experience how difficult it was to suppress automatic human reactions.
So, now?
Lena was smiling again, her earlier spiraling distress seemingly having been banished.

"I did say that we shouldn't be hasty in making a decision, and I'll stand by that. I will take your opinion into consideration, though."
Or, oh, hey! It's later!

:D Minnie is just that terrifyingly adorable, when she's not being adorably terrifying. Both at once is not uncommon.

Do we know when in the timeline this takes place? It has to be before Lena finds out about addy, but after she starts working there. Any other clues?

I am guessing that Myraid was a high-profile mind control incident
Myriad
My Friends were already designed to find satisfaction and happiness in completing other tasks," starting with finding and killing all those responsible, in the event of my demise or disappearance.
You're missing the open quotes before the second bit of pink text.
…Upon review, perhaps that was an excessively unrealistic expectation. Humans probably found fictional miscommunication-based misunderstandings humorous specifically because they were so bad at recognizing such problems in their own lives.
That sounds like 15 pounds of irony in a 10-pound bag.

Well, there was some incident people were blaming Supergirl and Addy both for and for not stopping in the first part, but I'm not familiar enough with AdMis to recognize it. (I've tried to read it, but just can't get into it somehow. Insert shrug emoji here.)

e: Actually, with a few minutes more thought, I know why I can't get into it. It's all the moralizing about being nondiscriminatory about neurodivergent people, rather than just having characters do it and keep moving. They say it's bad writing to tell rather than show, but showing while repeatedly telling is even worse, because oversaturating the message is boring and leads to morality fatigue rather than actual heightened awareness.

Lena is still under the impression Addy is Maxwell Lord's daughter, but post prison break, and not aware Addy is alien (though she may suspect).

Has convinced her not to make concealed weaponry yet. It's the potentially-lethal weaponry that Lena convinced Minnie to be at least somewhat careful with, which is arguably more impressive. :V

*cough* When you're trying to figure it out, ignore the canon timing of the flashback-line about alien genetic compatibility—I made a mistake there and only caught it later, so we're pretending that's a recurring subject that Addy has talked about before. ^^;

EDIT: Also, it would be helpful if people were to spoiler-bubble stuff that hasn't come up in-story yet, especially for plot events. Some people might read AdMis after this.

I don't think anyone here would turn down more Alivaril chapters. For any project, really. She's great. If someone was to ask, I would happily claim Alivaril as my favorite antidepressant and general pick-me-up ;)

(I mean, there are others with her on that tier too, but not many, and fewer still whose chosen pseudonym sounds right to fit the joke.)

Thank you for the chapter! Does Minnie have the same psychic shadow as addie?

And does Minnie have the same problem with feeding her shard self as addie?
