Poor Addie, Minnie is being a Bad Girl again. Expecting self-replicating Cycle-Ending Friends to be Tribbles.

Villain Variant Chapter 1: God didn't tell me not to do it
I guess you could have another Variant, 'Paranoid Minnie', where she doesn't go in the door, herself, but builds a Friend that is a close copy of her body + equipment (clothes), with a nice high bandwidth link to, and sends that in instead?

(Biomass from dead animals/food waste, I'm unsure what she'd need to build a good comms link... Dead electronic waste would likely be a good start...)

Or, is that not in the correct spirit of Friend construction?

You have the main story, as it stands, but it turns out the PoV Minnie is in fact a Friend, and the other Minnie is hiding, somewhere, using a Friend (who doesn't know they are one) to take all the risks... Only hint is a memory fuzz before entering the door, and some lost time...

Honestly, I kinda want to see more Villain Addie than canon lol. Just the sheer confusion she'd cause, not to mention the chaos that comes from being very adept at violence, theft, and general shenaniganery the expected things of a Monarch Shard would be hilarious to watch. The mental image of little Addie being a more legitimate threat compared to some of the other villains the Super Friends would face is just *chef's kiss*.

Tiny QA will be the new Lex Luther, with cute pets and weird fashion.

Is it illegal to use Friend unpaid labor?

The courts assign someone to keep an eye on her and to get her to stop following in Lex's footsteps because rich people with tech companies don't go out to fight superpower people. Lex is the exception not the rule unlike Bruce Wayne.

As this is a DC-ish universe that means (maybe only theoretically) there might be Amazo around (apparently he appeared in 1960). I wonder what his power-copying capability would pick up from one or other QA? It can fake-up a Green Lantern ring, and that is Clarke-tech, so...

An Amazo who is convinced the only way to defeat QA is by making Friends could be an... interesting development.

She is continent sized machine, even if he can copy things, he can't copy things too big to fit inside him, maybe he can copy individual Friends, but than wouldn't their loyalty infect him?

Their loyalty could only infect Amazo if the copying was so stupidly over-exact as to incorporate everything about the original, including the parts that are clearly not a good a idea to copy.

So yeah, probably.

Given that Amazo copies so undiscerningly that he gives himself a Kryptonite vulnerability every time he copies a Kryptonian and a fire vulnerability every time he copies a Martian... yeah, I could totally see him accidentally copying a Friend too thoroughly, to the point of accidentally overriding his own loyalties.

Given how Amazo copies the individuals he's fighting, I'd suspect that if he tried to copy Addy or Minni, he'd copy any powers innate to their body (so Krpytonian powers for Addy, and any upgrades installed for Minni), but so far as shard powers are concerned, he'd just copy their link to the shard that lets the relevant QA grant them powers. Then it would be up to the QA to decide if they should empower him through said link. Though given the noted issues on copying weaknesses as well, it's entirely possible that this link would give the QAs full control over his body similar to their control over their respective Taylor bodies.

Amazo is... a bit weird. But, then it is DC Comics, so what do you expect? He seems to operate on a conceptual level, most of the time, and often the JLA need to defeat him using a conceptual approach. Is Prof. Ivo using magic, without realising it, and tricks learned by study of The Appellaxians (JLA enemies, from 1962) created empowered bodies?

I suspect Minnie would be rather interested in Amazo, as stealing ideas from him to use in Friends would be... frankly horrifying. Maybe she (Villain Minnie) could create 'Goat Boy', and then blame him for all the... less legal things she might want to do?

Image from Reddit. After all, no reason why he can't be suave and sophisticated, is there? :)

Yeah, you guessed it, he's a scape-goat. :)

"The Amazing Goat Boy!"
Catch phrase: "What're they blaming me for, this time?" :(
