I don't think it's a good idea. But I do think it would give something bizarre. Trans smasher fits well for that. The other thing I would jump to for it is superslayer...

JCore's flight speed is 190 MPH Boosted, so she isn't someone we could never catch. It's difficult but possible.
Her damage is such that we can survive her first successful attack, and we can rush her with Ramming Speed too. Assuming our Inhuman Skill and Diamond Mind combo allows us to make the first shot in to foil her first shot, we just might knock her out before she drops us.
After all, her Attack Negation Negation doesn't kick in until she's made her second successful attack.
Or we make things simpler and Shift-Dropkick her. Works even if we need to Skilled Dodge out of her attack. No, really, her survivability rating is 8390 (850*8+600+990). Rain of Blows and Multi Slash gives us damage of 9000-11000, to account for situational modifiers.

Just to throw my hat into the ring: From my experience prerequisites like this are never this easy (relatively speaking). I can imagine the "mugging a god" part means mugging one of the Goddesses (which will go about as "well" as one would expect something like that to go) or even a Divine Being.

That is correct. Though it somewhat depends on the necessary degree and nature of our participation.
As in, if the task is "Summit personally forcibly takes something away from a Divine Being directly, and lives to tell the tale", it's one thing. Though the hypothetical situation where Summit is tasked to yoink something away from either the WEAPONs or the Maidens of Apocalypse while they're in the presence of their Divine Patron, and she does it and immedieately teleports away, is a possible success... If we take "mug a god" somewhat literally.
If the task is "Summit participates in a battle where the other side has a Divine Being involved directly, and her side walks away victorious after defeating said Divine Being in combat", then it's slightly more survivable. To wit, it means that we could be following one of Cores or one of Goddess Four into the thick of it, as these six are the few Magical Girls I know that actually have Divinity-busting weapons/abilities.
On a side note. @kelllogo, are you keeping the voting open still? The voting seems to have died down, and it's a clear lead.

Maybe, maybe not. Magical Girls are noted to be combatants no one can just ignore. And Divine Entities are practically falling over themselves to pick up one or two as minions. Gaia in particular was said to mostly value humanity as a weapon against other Divine Beings.
Beating up gods might have been a core deliverable of the whole Magical Girls thing.
It's hard to tell since fighting on those scales hasn't been explained and Solid Core appears to be pretty bad at it (especially bad in a couple places where contesting enemy magic would be handy).
Its something that Summit is unlikely to ever do unless she can somehow in the distant future find a way to get Planet Cracker as a Panoply ability (which seems unlikely as fuck). Getting past that Morality Barrier is tough. Collateral Damage helps a bit, and Heavy Caliber might help a tiny bit, but its still super difficult without a dedicated anti-DB ability.
If you ignore the Morality Barrier, then she could probably cause major damage to a continental scale Divine Being if she gets Superslayer (requires Pioneer, level 50 Panoply, and at least 5 Slayer Abilities), Slash Hell, and an extra Protean level. With all other levels at what they currently are, she could theoretically do the following damage output each turn via the configuration Slash Hell | Crush | Rain of Blows | Laser | Superslayer.
Panoply: 2,000 Base Damage, +1,000 Dice, +54,000 Laser (x27), +200 Light of Discovery, +400 Rain of Blows, +400 Rain of Blows, +400 Rain of Blows, +400 Rain of Blows, +400 Rain of Blows, +15,000 Superslayer, X3 CRUSH = 222,600 Total Damage

1,113,000 Total Unified Damage
You could also remove Laser and do 28 individual attacks each turn, but that's probably going to have a much harder time actually hurting a DB.
Of course, we have no clue how 1 million damage from a mortal perspective looks from the perspective of a continental scale Divine Being, but we do know that in general 1 million mortal damage =/= 1 million DB damage.
Righto.

I'm really wondering how the hell we saw that. If it were from a human's perspective, I would've figured that it was Gaia up to some shenanigans, but the viewpoint of that snippet was from a minor demon. How does that work? Was the demon born from Anna breaking a promise? Is this part of how the Dark is tracking Anna?
Interesting fact to bring up. I had forgotten that demons were born from broken promises. And strongly implied to be every broken promise too. The more important the promise, the more powerful the demon.
The last letter smears when you take your hand away, but it still recognizably spells 'Anna' in your own blood.
Marax rolls up the contract and holds it next to his face, "Marvelous."
It sounds like a hiss and doesn't make you feel better in the slightest. Marax fiddles with the contract for a few moments more, his snake-like lower body making a soft hiss of its own as it moves.
"I did it, I signed it, will you let me leave now." you say blankly.
Marax holds all six of his arms out and rises to the point where his head is actually touching the ceiling. Behind him the Demon Commander holding the lamp adjusts to keep him lighted.
"You've been quite recalcitrant. I need to demonstrate to the rest of my vassals that this isn't tolerated. What I've decided is that you will remain here and dispose of other vassals that have displeased me until I see fit to assign you to other duties."
You feel light and heavy at the same time.
"No! You said you'd let me go!"
"What I said was you would become my servant, which you have, not that I would release you. Remain until I say otherwise."
He laughs cruelly and snaps the thin rod in his lowest left hand. He and the light disappear without a trace, leaving you alone in the dark once more.
Alone, bleeding, cold, and tired.
You fall to your knees on the stones and scream.
When you pick yourself up you realize that you're not scared anymore. You won't let yourself get scared, you won't stop, because you need to get free and kill that asshole serpent. Nothing will stop you.
As if your thoughts triggered something a quintet of figures (Blood, Horror) appears in the air above you.
"Filthy thing."
"Her mother died from her foolishness."
"Her father died from her stubbornness."
"Her mouth is still stained from subsiding on filth."
"Her soul is black from her betrayal of her sworn oath."
"Submit to our judgement filthy oathbreaker."
Their words cut into your soul. You see them descend, but you are trying to cover your eyes as guilt overwhelms you. You also see your mother falling into a void you failed to spot until it was too late, your father promising to catch up after helping to evacuate people from Boston's suburbs, the oppressive darkness that covered you after you signed Marax's agreement and promise to serve -- before he ordered you to stay in the dark and live in regret until the demon called for you.
The taste of bitter crickets and muddy water raises on your lips. The grounded figures belittle you as four wrap barbed whips around each of your arms and legs. The largest draws back her lash-.
Anna swore an oath. And written oath, signed in her own blood. And she broke that. ...I'm suddenly thinking that neither Zoe nor Marax is Anna's greatest opponent. And I'm honestly worried about what or who must have been born that moment.

My next thoughts are on how all the denizens of hell Summit has met, have called her Anna.
The demon captain Zael, who was armed with the Shrieking Spear forged from Magical Girl Iron Age.
"You've ruined everything Anna, but your head will be enough to get me out of this mess." snarls the demon, he shakes his spear for emphasis, "Now that my weapon has finally awoken you are about to die."
"Wait! Spare me Anna! I am at your mercy and will see that you are granted all the bounty offered for you. You know I dare not betray such a powerful warrior. You could live in a peaceful demesne as queen! You can avoid being killed by Goddess Grey! Just let the gateway open once more!"
A small lanky imp with a mostly-shaved head and long braid darts out of the tunnel mouth as you approach.
"Mistress!" he bows deeply, "Zoe has commanded all Magical Girls nearby to assist her. She expects Anna is nearby and intends to ambush her. You risk her displeasure if you ignore her."

The flying sharks that shoot freaking laser beams from their head were unsuccessful at menacing Summit or providing an entertaining show. The few that decided not to chase her survived slightly longer, until Anna started hunting them.
Wait, you've actually seen this particular demon before. He tried to stalk and capture you in your prison quite some time ago. You think that scar on the left side of his head is one you gave him… As soon as he stops being distracted by Starlancer's spear you expect him to recognize you.
This of course, doesn't answer why the demons all seem to immediately recognize her on sight. Is it an effect of the contract? Does it have something to do with Anna's visions?
Light splashes out over the oversized demon. The rapid changes in space induced by your spell make black blood fountain out of a dozen places. Beneath it a wave of colors emerges from the ground.
...
The colors spraying from beneath the ground and the Light of your most recent spell have combined somehow. You have the impression of a girl standing still, her skin glittering like the edge of a thousand blades.
The vision is interrupted by the injured demon speaking very rapidly.
...
There's a sound like cloth tearing. The light of your attack lingers and blocks your view of its effect.
...
The Light is much less distinct now. Vague figures beckon at you from all sides. More appear around you, over and behind the previous apparitions. A peculiar lightness washes over you, there's more to this vision than you can keep track of -- thousands of things have appeared in just the first second.
You don't have time for this. You grit your teeth and ignore the dizziness that has fallen over you and rise out of the curtain of Light. It's quite small once you're out of it, just a few meters in diameter and dwindling before your sight.
...
Using your unnatural senses upon the mystery gives you the chance to try and pull at it. A disc appears. It looks like smoky glass inset with gold geometric patterns. Along the outside edge are three scorch marks set equidistantly on the circumference. Its diameter is within your ability to Fuse, so you do just that.
Just the thing for dizziness, it appears. Everything stops spinning and whatever was making space wobble stopped, presumably because you either absorbed the cause or just improved your space warping enough to ignore it. Always satisfying to feel yourself getting stronger.
"Rita (Magical Girl Twisted Metal), check with Alex (who is this?!? Damn it, we missed a member of Zoe's crew) that you're ready." Zoe says strides into the stone room of the tower.
"Already? Yay!" A mousy girl throws aside her knitting (...I feel much better about saving Twisted Metal now. But seriously, "mousy"?) and bounds ip the steps.
Goddess Red sits up a bit straighter and glares at the new arrival. A black, armored figure shifts its weight slightly.
"There are jets attacking our bastion. And the usual replenishment of rabble got vaporized two days ago. We'll need to assist."
"I'm not here to make your problems go away. Your words were that I 'wouldn't have to lift a finger', and if you're counting on escalation of commitment to boss me around you can just fuck off." Goddess Red answers.
"I haven't forgotten," Zoe spits out, "and you won't have to lift a finger. Lisa will bring Fiodur here and you can lounge by the fire until I bring you Anna. This is a courtesy so you don't start a fight with the local commander when he gets here."
The room is quiet except for the crackles of burning wood for a moment, then Zoe whirls to point her scepter at the Black Knight. What tension may have been present does not show in either the Knight or the Reclining Goddess.
"Get out." Red makes a dismissive gesture at Zoe, "Don't say another thing to me until you've brought me my prize. I haven't forgotten who put my little sister in that cage."
You hadn't expected to find one of the Divinity girls at Signals. Both of the white-haired girls (Purity, Faith, Divinity) are present in the main room, the older of the pair is sleeping at a desk while the younger was pacing back and forth.
She stops to give you a critical eye, "You don't look like much."
"I remember you. You're Solid Core's 'cute little girlfriend'." you reply.
The white-haired Core wrinkles her nose at that, "Does everyone know about that?" she sits on a large gun with a disgusted groan.
"Summit is tougher than she looks." the signals officer watching them adds.
"What did you need me for?" you ask.
She holds a finger to her lips in a 'shush' gesture before pointing at the Divinity girls. "Anna will explain when she arrives. We have some info relevant to you."
The time is actually a bit past when you were told to arrive, but a woman identical to the one manning the desk arrives before you mention it. The newer woman, Anna, is carrying a metal clipboard and directs you to a hallway and a small room with a spartan desk and two chairs.
"Magical Girl Summit. I want to commend you for your efforts in the last twenty-four hours. We've intercepted a message from Magical Girl Silver Regent that concerns you."
She pushes a thumb against the clipboard and it opens. You take the offered document and start reading.
Anna Sanchez, Magical Girl Summit, is a skilled and dangerous combatant. Disregard all prior estimates of her power, she has proven capable of single-handedly defeating one of the Milidia sentinels. Starlancer reports she withstood multiple strikes that slay a War Angel.
Pardon the cliche, but it's personal now. Anna is to considered a strategic threat because her space-warping abilities are anticipated to be capable of closing most portals. Bounty paid for Anna's corpse has been raised to 120 times the standard bounty for a Counter Force Legend-Maker. No bounty will be paid without presenting the body as she's stationed near the Emissaries of Light, who may be able to revive her if given the opportunity. In addition, Anna may be undergoing protagonist syndrome -- likely due to her finally being provided with powerful weapons to consume.
Anna is an incredibly mobile Magical Girls. She flies, teleports, and can transition across dimensions under her own power. In Counter Force tests she exceeded 150 miles per hour, and could teleport almost half a mile in one go. This makes her ability to fire from a "few" miles away (the report didn't have hard numbers for her effective range) quite worrying. Absent other factors she could teleport and fly away to open up range, then bombard with near-impunity. Sources suggest that rain slows her flight considerably and limits her teleport range.
Thankfully her offensive power is relatively anemic. Up close Anna tends to smash into enemies with an angel-sized rocket-boosted club, which becomes even more violent when she's charging at 150+ miles per hour from the sky.
An important limitation of her weapon is that it can only mimic a single form at a time. She must choose between rapid fire, the large club, a charge-up mode, long range fire, and explosive strikes. It is also able to move on its own and make slam attacks or fire streams of light at all times. Do not expect to be able to restrain or disarm her easily.
She has two spells for short range. The first is Ramming Speed, which accelerates her to high speed. A caveat is that it makes her briefly invincible while she's charging at you and the effect has significant armor penetrating force. The second, and more dangerous, spell is Wave Force. On the report it was classified as a "Bad Touch with some range", it causes severe damage on contact. When Anna is preparing to use this effect there is a significant wind up time, between 1.5 and 2.5 seconds, where she needs to hold still. If Anna comes to a stop while within 35 feet of you immediately run away from her. The short range and wind up make it possible to dodge this effect. It flows around most defenses, but unconnected constructs or minions can absorb the attack.
Summit's defensives are effective, but not insurmountable. Swarm tactics are noted to be completely useless, Marax once sent over three thousand reanimated corpses and she fought them all at once. Past that any attack must be capable of hurting war angels to be effective. Armor penetrating effects or heavy damage is recommended. These attacks also need to be able to land hits on her while she's zipping around at her top speed.
I am currently trying to assemble a group to rid us of this cockroach. Contact Silver Regent or the person who provided you with this document to hear more.
"Some of this is inaccurate." you state after taking it in.
"Normally we'd try to arrange for you to be transferred and obscured in light of this. That's not really possible at the moment." Anna says.
"Rain doesn't actually slow me down. That's something I made up to ...get Flawless Paladin to stop bugging me."
Anna makes a thin smile, "That was clever."
"I've also had breakthroughs in how many abilities I possess and how many I can express. My Wave Force spell has also improved. And I've never felt that portals were especially vulnerable to any of my effects."
"Please don't kill Flawless Paladin, we keep track of her and can use this to root someone out. I'm glad to hear that your Protagonist Syndrome is progressing nicely, try to keep your new powers hidden from her and it should help you out. And now you know what Silver Regent thinks she knows."
"Thank you. Is there anything else?"
Anna pulls the document away from you and seals the clipboard up again, "Yes, actually. Magical Girl Insight has a theory about what happened to Solid Core's team and you're at the middle of it. Follow me."
You follow her out of the office, "What happened to Solid Core?"
"We don't know. She was trying to open the Super Gate on Reluxus and ran into Goddess Grey on site. Somehow she and Goddess White talked her down, then we lost contact with all the girls deployed. And Solid Core had arranged for some very powerful girls to assist her. Red Rose, Maiden of the West, Solar and Lunar Radiance, Solid Drive, War Angel Gabriel, and a Greater Child of Nightmares all disappeared."
She continues, "This all happened at about the same time as you were fighting demons in that valley. We think Goddess Grey was trying to get inserted behind our forces so she could smash our defenses before Goddess Gold could arrive."
That's a chilling thought. One of the insane Goddess Four staring you in the face.
"What does this have to do with me?"
A blindfolded Magical Girl Insight (Prediction, Information, Legend Maker) leans out from an ajar door, "Your space-bending powers. You got them by eating something that had trapped you inside of it."
"Insight has an idea that she's rather attached to." Anna answers flatly.
"See, you use the broken pieces and they still do something. If there are other pieces left someone could use them to make a trap. And even if that isn't it it has to be some sort of space warping! Nothing else could incapacitate all of those Magical Girls, an Angel, and a Greater Nightmare all at once." Insight finishes with a predatory grin.
You have a sinking feeling in your gut, "And since I broke out once…"
"You're the best shot we have at getting them free!" Insight finishes.
"What if it was just some sort of favor with a being that killed them?"
You can remember the whole World engulfing you in streams of power. Even recall that you had almost ceased to be just by starting to see Her. And there are other beings like Gaia.
Insight shrugs, "In that case why would head bitch Silver Regent be hunting you down so hard? That actually supports my hypothesis. She got the bits of the prison artifact that you missed and pasted them together somehow. Once she used 'em she knew she had to get the other person that could use 'em. Magical Girl Summit. Besides, if she has a kill beam that can do that we're all pretty fucked anyway. Ganking West, Core, Red Rose, and White all at once is planet evaporating levels of crazy."
"Are Insight's ideas plausible to you?" Anna asks.
You run your escape from Hell in your mind again. It was all a bit of a blur when it happened and there was an overwhelming feeling of being lost for most of it. After driving away the snake-like demon Marax you had swept up the glowing fragments of your prison and Fused them.
That's right, Marax had a glowing chunk embedded in his eye when you had started striking him. You had missed at least one piece then.
"That's possible."
"Great! Let's head out and show the world that Legend-Makers are the bestest Magical Girls ever!"
"No, not just now. A call is going out to gather Magical Girls here. We expect to muster more than twenty in three days. Which is why Judgement Core will destroy the UD's fortifications after an attack this afternoon. Summit's mobility could be vital during the offensive." a man from inside Insight's room declares.
Insight feels along the wall and claps you on the shoulder, "Fine, after that we'll sally forth and save the fair maidens. I think head bitch is going to keep increasing the heat on you if we wait."
She taps your Panoply after a brief pause, "Huh, really trying for the title of strongest Legend-Maker. You've got a long way to go."
You frown, "I don't follow."
"Oh I'm not talking about myself. Brilliant Key can still beat you is what I meant."
Anna clears her throat, "We're getting off topic. Summit, if you would continue following me?"
Silver Regent went and trapped at least Goddess White, maybe Goddess Grey as well, in a near-inescapable prison. Summit has gone from being someone that Zoe wants to complete a set (and to avoid letting her enemies have counters to her abilities) to being someone she needs or else Goddess Red is going to personally murder her (Zoe).
"Goddess Red has made some impressive blunders and I killed Red Rose and Goddess White yesterday. If I die she will take the field and recover me."
...
"I'm so sorry! I didn't expect someone to recuse me from hell, I thought you were a monster!" High Card (poor kid. Getting the Anna Sanchez treatment with Silver Regents mind-tripping on top of it all) trips over her words while trying to apologize,
...
"But if you let me kill you Red will bring you back to life and leave to do whatever it is she does. Are you better than Goddess Red? Or would the battle go better if you sacrificed yourself so she would leave?" Zoe concludes.
Oh.
That's a rather horrifying thing to consider. Goddess Red and Goddess Gold are famous for defeating armies. And odd as it is to consider that two of the Goddess Four are fighting against mankind you've seen firsthand the power they hold. Well, secondhand for Goddess Red's invasion.
A sinking feeling twists your gut. Zoe is right, your thoughts all turn around to that. Spending your own life and foregoing other actions is absolutely the correct choice when weighed against Goddess Red killing you and everyone else here.
You hesitate to give the unpalatable response. Zoe grimaces and starts moving towards where her weapon landed.
...
Starlancer smirks, "Silver Regent wanted to do that." (Bullshit. She was threatening to send High Card right back to him earlier)
Anna swore an oath. And written oath, signed in her own blood. And she broke that. ...I'm suddenly thinking that neither Zoe nor Marax is Anna's greatest opponent. And I'm honestly worried about what or who must have been born that moment.
Funnily enough escaping from a foul contract doesn't actually make particularly scary demons. Summit is far more powerful than the demon spawned from her defaulting on a promise to serve Marax body and soul.
I wonder how powerful the demon spawned from the French revolution is?
Sounds about right. Think Magical Girl cockfights and you'll be close. Which is also partly to blame for how so many demons know about her by the name Anna.
Anna wasn't entertaining enough to sustain that business. She kept sneaking around and getting cheap shots instead of bloody fights.

FYI, @buli-buli. Marax is confirmed dead by Silver Regent, after StarLancer's first death he unwisely mouthed off.
As for Goddess Red, thing is... She knows EXACTLY where she'll find Summit eventually. And that place is - location of the access point to that dimensional prison, prison dimension, whatever. The ONLY thing she truly needs to do is wait for Summit's arrival as part of rescue mission for Solid Core's party.
Capturing Summit (killing her and bringing her body to Red is even better) to free Grey (and White) faster is a bonus to get things done faster, and a show of power due to Silver Regent's folly (you took my sister, FIX this). But as is, we can expect Red to maybe send her Knight on the hunt, and withdraw if it fails.

Huh. I did not know that. Oh, poor Summit won't get her revenge then.
And while I would normally say you have a good point about Goddess Red, I would point out that Red is already in the area and more importantly Gold is not.
Cause if Red is smart enough to realize Summit will eventually be sent to free all of those heavy hitters, then it follows that she's smart enough to realize that Gold will be equally, if not more, invested in the return of two of her sisters and her apprentice. And the CF has Silver Regent and company to interrogate. They'll know Red is involved.

That... Doesn't really follow. How unpleasant a promise is has precisely zero bearing on how powerful the demon spawned from it is.
('course last I checked, promises made by/with demons can't spawn more demons, so there's still no secret megaboss.)

But how powerful a Maker girl's promise to "be a servant of that demon" could be?
Probably depends largerly on two or three things namely how much potential that promise had accumulated before it became considered broken. And how much Anna's power contributed (and whether it was "Anna at the time of making an oath" or "Anna at the time of breaking the oath"), and how much her own potential contributed.
Won't be surprised if we get a ShieldSlayer with Deception affinity and some really good hiding skills.
Heh. Shieldslayer and Lethal Surprise, also invisibility and negation of Anna's Affinity sense. Will be really deadly to Anna.
unless marax looped in someone else to act as a third party, so technically the promise was made to someone else. I could see a demon doing that for grins. that demon sounds interesting, especially if he's not hostile, so there is a way you could come up for him to still be around.
"That doesn't look good." High Card mumbles as she looks at the caustic ooze that's dripped on the floor from your portal attempt.
"I should be able to avoid that." you answer quickly, "We'll need to buy a little time."
You sweep over the room with your own light. There's still a lot of dust floating in the air. Above the aquarium Twisted's shots broke a car-sized hole of rock into fragments. The water in the aquarium is still murky from the rock dust that fell into it.
And Starlancer is looking around like… she's definitely got some ability to see in darkness. That could be trouble, she's already trouble.
You reach out a part of the Panoply to seize her by the neck and press on her arteries.
"Urk! Hey!" Starlancer protests, "Let go!"
She claws at the Panoply gripping her neck for a few seconds before starting to go limp.
While waiting for that to resolve you pull her into a harness next to the other two girls you're hauling. This is going to be a rather annoying burden if you get involved in battle. You reposition to tunnel you entered through and start charging up an attack.
"Don't you have a portal or something! How did you get to Hell in the first place?" High Card shouts at you.
Her weapon, at least you think the orbiting stars are her weapon, has dilated to surround her in a field of tiny lights. Even to your vision it provides little light, just an irregular outline of her surroundings.
"We're at Milidia, a Unified Light fortress."
Damn, you can already hear scraping on the other side of the rubble pile. At least you're ready to drop something that can't be cleared by simple claws. Your Panoply snaps out, biting into the rock and tearing a large chunk out to bar the way.
That will have to do for now. From what you can see you've dropped a solid chunk that covers all the width of the corridor and is about half a meter wide at the base and comes to a point after about a meter.
You rush back to the center of the room. A quick bit of shaping makes a sort of diving bell for your captives.
"Get in."
High Card hesitates. You point at the water.
"Hurry," you insist, "It won't be long before they're here."
She makes a face and strides towards you. Not satisfied with her speed you pull her into place and lower yourself into the aquarium.
High Card squirms a bit as you anchor yourself to the bottom, "Is there going to be enough air? How long are you planning on hiding here?"
You've already started feeling out a path, "It should only take me a minute. This is a portal back."
"It's kind of dark…"
You let some light into the air pocket. It's covered and sealed at the bottom of the aquarium, no danger of light getting through.
"Ugh, now it's just creepy."
Picky, picky. You make it dark again.
Twenty seconds pass calmly. Then the ground shudders as something slams into the rock.
The chamber above you lights up in red. You should still be unseen under the hazy water if you keep still.
A rush of feet passes overhead. You hear some shouting and whooping.
And then a presence you can sense even without vision arrives.
"Disappointing, but she will not escape. Search that tunnel." a piercing voice commands.
The ground shudders again.
You're a little more than halfway done by your reckoning.
High Card goes rigid and starts breathing quicker.
The presence starts to depart, then stops.
Just need a bit more time.
"No. She's here, I can sense her." the voice from before sneers.
"Anna Sanchez. You cannot hide from me. If you do not reveal and supplicate yourself the consequences will be harsh. There is no escape now."
High Card squeaks softly.
You've gotten a good hold on how to get past the damaging effect, now all you need to do is hold it steady long enough for it to become still.
"You will burn to ash if you teleport away now. And I will see that one of your arms is flayed off if I have to drag you from your hiding spot." piercing voice threatens, "Also consider your family, I will find them and make them suffer if you anger me."
Something steps on you, you ignore it.
"Idiots!" the voice bellows.
There! A portal opens in your impromptu diving bell.
"She's in the water! Drag her out!"
One, two, three, four, then you pass through your gateway back to the Milidia dorms. You gently land amidst the unconscious bodies of your enemies, and High Card.
High Card pushes herself to her feet and twirls around to take everything in. Several groups of Magical Girls are waiting on folding chairs, several with tables set up for games or food.
Everyone is looking at you. And the rest of the people that just appeared from thin air to land amidst them.
"Hold it right there!" Shapeless Isle shouts.
There are chains everywhere. You are at a loss as to where they came from, but you're suddenly caught up on hooks that come from nowhere will tear into you if you move too much.
"Good reflexes! But that's Summit! Friendly!" Insight shouts as she comes running.
You adjust your Panoply into a smoother configuration, but the hooks tangle up on themselves instead of falling off. And suddenly they vanish.
"What happened?" Floral Glory moves to dab at the blood covering Silver Regent, "She looks terrible."
"I hit her until she stopped moving." you summarize.
"Oops."
Silver Regent's hand darts out towards Floral's neck, "Enough! If I am not permitted to escape I will tear her throat out."
You clamp down with Halting. Floral deliberately points her umbrella at Silver Regent's stomach as the tip starts glowing brightly.
Starlancer sits up, "You're an embarrassment."
A small rush of Magical Girls surges forward. Sakura Saber, Crimson Hood's large hound, and Arc Mastermind take the front row.
"The next words out of your mouth will be 'I warn you! I have a special bomb!'" Insight says with an audible grin.
"I warn you! I have a- what the fuck?" Silver Regent lets go of Floral Glory.
She's promptly smacked by Sakura Saber, then has a dynamo shoved into her gut, and finally has her head caught in the jaws of Crimson's Hound.
Floral dismisses the light on her umbrella and tucks it back at her side.
"Is the noob fine? How about the others?" Arc Mastermind demands.
"High Card was a captive." you point as you talk, "Starlancer is some sort of enforcer for the UD. Silver Regent is a jerk and working for the UD. Twisted Metal was acting odd, I'd like to talk to Team GEAR about her."
"I have been bested." Starlancer interjects.
"Murhph!" Silver Regent thrashes uselessly at Crimson's Hound.
"Life, Horror, Epic? On the brown haired girl?" Insight butts in.
"Yes, that's right."
"I happen to be an expert on this subject!" She shouts, "Oi! We need knockout runes for prisoners here!"
"I activated Machine Code's item." you add.
Arc Mastermind uses another dynamo to prod Starlancer to her feet. Starlancer places her hands on her head.
"Great work. Once these troublemakers get dealt with you'll be able to jump back into the thick of it. The Light Warriors are cleaning things up at the front and the tanks are about to roll in." Insight says.
She rubs her hands, "And I'll get everything set up for our seal-bearing subject here. Did she seem lucid? Where was the seal?"
"Mostly. She said something about Hope. The ...seal as you call it was on the front of her weapon: a tail with a mouth and cannons."
An officer runs up with a box of silver foil bags. Arc Mastermind grabs one, opens it to reveal something like a surgical mask covered with warnings. She presses it to Starlancer's face and the latter girl collapses back into unconsciousness.
Sakura Saber has led High Card off to a table where Card is attempting to eat an entire ice-cream cone in one go.
Insight makes an annoyed huff, "That's not ideal. I'll need to gather a posse of angels for this. She's some bullshit alright…" she taps her fingers together, "There used to be these sort of obsidian 'arms' the fortress could use to block routes or crush intruders. They've started falling off."
There's a sudden change in the air. Like the colors have changed, but you can't quite see what's different.
"Feels like the antimagic started working." Arc Mastermind comments.
"Wait!" High Card spins and points at you, "Her family is in danger! One of the demons knew her name!"
There's a murmur that passes through the small crowd.
You should clarify, "My family is in no danger."
The officer from before looks relieved, "They're already being guarded, I take it?"
"They're dead." you clarify, "My mother, father, little brother, uncle and all of my grandparents. Is there anything I should be working on at the moment?"

Anyone remember what we were going to do for phase 2?
I mean, going in to XP grind by smashing faces in since we already kind of cut the anti-us team down is always an option.
We could follow the Hover-tanks in honestly. That's just going to take a couple minutes at most to get that sorted out since we just need to Gate them out to the battlefield.
Edit:
We could also see if they have any turret pre-fabs in storage and drag those out to the frontlines and set them up right quick.
