I figure out it's best not to raise it higher than 25, let's not give the voters (and Anna) a temptation to YOLO purchase Abomination. Aegis Field gives us HP anyway, so we're decent on that.
Except I want Abomination, because I want some of the stuff that's gated behind it.

It's an SA. We're going to want it. Period. (Not to mention Kellego let it slip that those three were basically going to be how we raise our Growth Affinity until he realized that that wasn't a thing outside of a couple, very rare, circumstances).

There's a lot of nice toys hidden in various places. Level 50 Panoply hides Superslayer.idk what's behind the others, but Summit can get Tear The Gods From Their Heights after she has Abomination. TTGFTH is a really good ability.
That wasn't a backhand. That was a punch in the face from a very high end Dark Magical Girl who is really really good at spamming huge amounts of raw damage.I would just like the ability to not take half our health from one backhand because someone looked at us who is beyond our ability to intercept. =/
I was being a little tongue in cheek, but it's a single attack. That wasn't a backhand. That was a punch in the face from a very high end Dark Magical Girl who is really really good at spamming huge amounts of raw damage.
Considering her core build philosophy is being able to oneshot things with her punch spell, the fact that Summit tanked it is already doing pretty good.I was being a little tongue in cheek, but it's a single attack.
Saying she was a high end Magical Girl as a qualifier is great, but it's not like Summit -isn't- going to find herself in the same battlefield as some of these people. And while not all of them are going to be world shattering damage threats, I don't think it's off base to say that most of them will hit pretty hard.
Not mine....All those things were disclosed in Discord, weren't they?
Why then did nobody release the information here???
That said to put things in perspective 35-50 Panoply is 1850+2100+2350=6300 xp.
Comparatively Paragon is 1100+1350+3500=5950 xp.
Well, the Superslayer thing was originally mentioned as a joke. Also, in addition to level 50 Panoply, it has the additional requirement of at least 5 regular Slayer Abilities....All those things were disclosed in Discord, weren't they?

To be fair, I'm reasonably certain that the TTGFTH thing was mentioned here, back when we first found out about it....All those things were disclosed in Discord, weren't they?

Probably kinda meh, tbh. It's not like Laser will increase the RoL ticks or anything.[X] EXP-Plan Build and Dismantle
instant manufacturer is nice, and being able to spot buy more things in a pinch is always a great surprise for our foes. Also, each protan slot has an exponential affect right now because we have modifiers that we can stick on that will multiply the attack.
I really want to see what laser+rain of light looks like.
You mean one of Dwarven Overseer's Happy Fun Stuff ones?Alternatively on the "kill an epic" prereq, we could get Darkslayer and go murder a Balrog. Pretty sure it was mentioned there's some of those around her somewhere.
Hmmmm. Ray, Heavy Caliber, Multi Shot and Danmaku can allow us to kill one with a single salvo. Even without Darkslayer.

I don't think we can get that specific ability. That one actually has a rather non-indicative name.On a different note:
@kelllogo, what do we have to do to get Interceptor Fire aka Intercept (Ranged)? I think Summit would appreciate being able to Protect others without needing to interpose herself between them and the danger.
Probably kinda meh, tbh. It's not like Laser will increase the RoL ticks or anything.
Edit: I mean, it'll do more damage, yes, but it won't be some spectacular super combo.
What really hurts is things that stack multiplicatively with each other and don't use up extra actions.
Stun spell. Don't underestimate that. Stun is kinda OP if they have a teammate because they can keep you locked down indefinitely if they hit you even once.
It looks like charging up your attack before shooting a lot of bullets. Because that's basically what it is.mostly I want to see how it looks and if we get any soft rule benefits from combining the top of the single big attack and lots of little attacks trees. Mostly the benefits are from stuff like the appropriate anti or Salyer abilities.
But Abomination is the best one! (Has the best stuff behind it/on it.) Why wouldn't Anna want to pick it up?I figure out it's best not to raise it higher than 25, let's not give the voters (and Anna) a temptation to YOLO purchase Abomination. Aegis Field gives us HP anyway, so we're decent on that.
Weren't we immune to that? Upon Iron Wings, precursor to Upon Wings of Imagination, allowed us to no-sell total paralysis from Toxic Horror in Crossworlds 4.3.Stun spell. Don't underestimate that. Stun is kinda OP if they have a teammate because they can keep you locked down indefinitely if they hit you even once.
How should I put it... First of all, the name and the flavor text. Second of all, it will be a detriment to her ability to socialize and her friendly acquaintances might object... Do you want to her to end up with no emotions like Machine Code? Third of all, her superiors might ask her to abstain. But Abomination is the best one! (Has the best stuff behind it/on it.) Why wouldn't Anna want to pick it up?
On the subject of Discord stuffs: I teased Superslayer being behind Pioneer, Level 50 Panoply, and six other slayer abilities. Tear the Gods from their Heights is behind Abomination and a personal accomplishment of beating something where TTGFTH would be very useful. I'm not sure where Spectrum is getting his ideas about the 3500xp abilities from >_>, I'm pretty sure I haven't said anything about what they do other than gate some high-rent abilities.
For ranged Intercept: No plans to add it at the moment. For now you'll have to live with starting Intercept conflicts within swinging range. For beam wars you want to start from where your weapon is strongest, right next to you.
Laser + Rain of Light: Imagine one of those bullet hell bosses that fills up 75% of the screen with a huge laser and shoots a tricky pattern while you're pressed up against the side of the screen. Most of the stored laser effect fires off first thing and the majority of the danmaku isn't appreciably boosted.
Stun is not a body modifier, I'm afraid.Weren't we immune to that? Upon Iron Wings, precursor to Upon Wings of Imagination, allowed us to no-sell total paralysis from Toxic Horror in Crossworlds 4.3.
Well, not quite no-sell, but we were still able to move, fight, and Self-Repair to remove it.
