I have now achieved Level 4 and in record time it appears.

It seems that deliberately going to the floors near the bottom of the Dungeon and just killing everything that spawns there with my Chromas is an incredibly effiecnt way of achieving enough Excelia for perfect STATS before levelling up. It is not like I am in any real danger either, thanks to all of the charges of my left eye being fully charged.

Speaking of my left eye, it feels incomplete. Damaged, even. It appears that I will have a project to work on once I return to my world. I wonder what secrets it holds...

And finally, I have a question. Does anybody in Astral have the capability to update Falna (and would be willing to do so for me) or should I buy something to automate the process for me.

And on that topic, yes: Carol has been getting every bit of Brain Drain's upgrades removed-- or, well, most of them. She is still far stronger than a normal person, but at least now she doesn't have a massive spinning blade jutting out of her back, or an overheating engine in her gut. Blaire even went as far as to nearly remove the scarring on Carol's face, leaving her able to go around without getting stared at.

Her brain chemistry is still a bit volatile, flushing everything out wasn't easy so the best option was to just let it settle down on its own. But beyond that... she's fine. And will get to return to her family soon.

Satan preserve me and Kate have mercy, because damn the past few days were crazy.

I'm not going to go in detail over the whole "Fukua stalking Filia" thing, anyone who checked the group chat would know. But for posterity, know that I tried to make them interact in hopes of this obsession calming down. It ended up in tears, screaming, a breakdown, Carol being sad, then Valentine showing up for SOME REASON, and Carol almost beating the shit out of her barehanded.

So yeah.

I came to search for advice, and found it in Chaiyapon-- my man, the absolute legend that he is, suggested I make Fukua live out some time as Filia. Got Raine to lend her timeline-vision to locate a good one, Kurome turned it all into a dream for Fukua to witness, and then all I had to do was wait.

...I kinda feel a little bad about it in hindsight, considering the poor girl woke up like she had the worst nightmare ever and practically barreled into my bedroom like a heat-seeking missile.

Anyways, I tried to have Fukua and Filia settle things between them after the fiasco of last time. Had to raise my voice a bit to prevent another flare-up in animosity, but it ended up... amicably. Not perfectly, but that's as far as I can ask. Fukua accepted being herself, and has been actively trying to distance herself from what Filia likes to make a new identity for herself-- I couldn't be more proud.

Deciding to keep the ball rolling, I got to locking Valentine and Carol into a room with me to have them talk it out too. Perhaps not a bright plan, but one that worked anyways, once we got Carol to put down the knife and actually listen to Valentine's side of the story... which I may or may not have had to pry out of her like teeth. Kinda getting tired of everyone having so much baggage, I'll admit.

But that's not all! Because of course it isn't! Marie and Double ended up showing up at my doorstep for revenge!

Kate actually listened to my request for once and removed my vocal limitations, so that I could lay down the greatest verbal smackdown in Skullgirls history on the two of them-- pretty sure I even started rapping it at some point, just to make it gall even harder. Was a great way to relieve my frustrations, let me tell you.

Remember when I mentioned that being in the tower is for the sake of convenience?

Not long ago, the secret police snooped around on the underground tower's first floor. They seem to be convinced that I am up to no good with the underground basement. Funnily because they have been staying down there for an extended period, they end up getting captured by our friendly Matrix AI overlady. This prompted more of them to investigate, and soon enough, they never returned.

Following the incident I declare the underground 'too dangerous' and 'seal' the whole opening banning more people from camping inside. People were sceptical at first but once the records of the secret police were revealed, all doubts were cleared out.

Dragon City lost another great faction, and I now have more control over the city than ever.

Once a niche club for men who need help; because of my supernatural influence all man in Kuoh quickly comes to be a part of the club for one reason or another. With size comes influence, the leader of my club essentially held the same level of authority as Rias when it came to school.

Becoming so big also comes with another exception... Students of my club can now join another club. This makes sense since every male joins YMCK and we barely have any activity beyond a monthly gathering and consultation services all males now join my club on top of another club They wanted to be a part of.

That way, they can still do an activity they love while still having access to the consultation every man in Kuoh needs, a win-win model.

OK, I got Bai's 3-wish ticket. Kate is gonna handle the payment, so all I had to do was use it.

First wish was to give Filia her memories back. Might as well, right? Sweet girl deserves it. It was a bit of a shock for her to recall everything immediately, but she's gotten herself back together after a few hours and some help from Carol-- and, maybe not so surprisingly, Fukua.

Second wish was to safely remove the Skull Heart from Marie and restore her body to perfect condition. I may or may not have had to track her down again for it, but... well, a certain cyan senior of mine slipped me a Huniebee. You know, that phone with near-stalking properties that keeps track of any woman you've interacted with? ...Yeah. It's useful for these kinds of occasions, I'll give it that much.

On the other side of the news, I heard faint news about Mu Siyun's death... Seeing how Beiyang Fleet reacts, this is more of him taking a vacation than it's actually his demise. Not many know this but because of an old vice admiral trap, Siyun merges with the dragon queen and becomes the first Soul Ranked Angel since war in Heaven. A guy like that just can't die easily.

What I feared had happened.

Because I went to save the poor girl from the lab; this caused the Excalibur mad scientist guy to act faster. I should've noticed this since Issei was killed earlier than scheduled but I was too busy to realise the implications.

Anyway, what happens now is that the famous Excalibur arc is pushed forward and becomes the first canon arc here in our Kuoh. On the bright side, this means that Issei met his childhood friend early, even before he learned how bad the holy object would be to his body right now. This will be pretty interesting, I can't wait to see how the meeting goes.

In mean time, I'll need to ask Tiamat to be ready, in case she need to make a move.

Went back home ten minutes later.

Barkhorn: So, it's been a while. Erika and I had a whole... situation, let's say, to sort out. And that left us offline for a bit. Crux of the matter, one of us fucked up, then the other did as well, and it kept going until it escalated, and tunnel vision is a bitch. We still need to hash out a bunch of stuff before things'll go back anywhere near how they used to be, but I'm hopeful.

Barkhorn: In other news, I ended up learning waterbending (going to wait until I have a better grasp of it before trying other elements), and a bit of Panzerkampf. Got new arms to make use of it, too... honestly, it's funny to think that these limbs are now the sturdiest part of me.

Barkhorn: Well, that's just about it, I'd say. Erika isn't feeling up to writing for now, so that was it from my side of things. Mostly just wanted to put something out to assure whomever was interested that we aren't dead yet.

I can't wait to see how the meeting goes.

Many laws and regulations were pushed and since our advancement has vastly improved how beast masters bonded with their tamed beasts and how mechanical lords connect to their machine armies. A mind-focused occupation is becoming more popular than ever, this is a good thing since after the calamity we certainly need more think tanks than muscle-head martial artists.

Now unto my private development. Green God company merges with the remnant of 9 mega-company and Meng Chao's government just manages to become fully operational.

Essentially, the City is recovering and we'll become better than ever.

In other news, I ended up learning waterbending (going to wait until I have a better grasp of it before trying other elements)

I managed to fully repair my Left Eye. It seems that when complete, it amplifies my attack power to a far greater extent and removes the cap on the amount of times I can resurrect.

With a bit of assistance from a frankly terrifying entity, I managed to enhance the Eye even further, allowing me to manipulate the Code of individuals with far greater ease.

My Dungeon dives have not given me anything new, merely acting as ways to increase my STATS slightly.

Her code is really, REALLY, REALLY bad. I cannot stress how bad it is.

Whole arc happens almost in a flash.

Many things happened over a fortnight, from a reunion between two childhood friends to a Kiba attempt at revenge... Even my meeting with the church duo. I even get into a theological debate; a bit heated but you can't deny that Hell's not that bad now that it has WIFI.

Soon enough the bad guy of the arc comes; since Rias's team is a bit weaker since Issei only learned gift and has not yet learned how to balance breaking but since he got training from me he manages to prepare and stay long enough to get full 11 charges and transfer the energy to everyone in the party. This allows Rias and Sona to defeat the Excalibur guy... Not Kokabiel though that win interestingly goes to Saji.

Vritra Promotion went surprisingly hard especially since I upgrade the merged sacred gear...

My Dungeon dives have not given me anything new, merely acting as ways to increase my STATS slightly.
At least you still gain something.

I have finally decided to slay the Black Dragon and complete my mission. This world served little purpose to me now, especially with the blessing of Atnir automating my Falna updates.

It was not long after I set foot upon my original setting that I found something interesting. A child, one dying due to something having lodged itself into their SOUL. Something that radiated a magical signature almost identical to mine. Curious, I extracted it, revealing half of a SOUL-shaped button which then burrowed into my chest. Something called [OVERWRITE].

I think I have a bad dream...

Everything was going well rebellion was prepped and people were regaining their hope. Then one day I woke up with the new title, the Galactic Emperor. Since when did I conquer the whole galaxy and become its emperor?

Then I saw my Cpts wallet... Karre just dumped me Cpts and used Paper Trail to put me in his shoes.

Dammit senior, if you going to go out and have fun there are plenty of guys who are willing to get a free Kingdom. Why are you giving me this half-workable mess that is only marginally better than Blue Star?! I supposed people here are much more reasonable... Maybe with this, once I can make the empire stable I can change the universe... As if. I'll stabilise this place and sell it to Siyun!

This world served little purpose to me now, especially with the blessing of Atnir automating my Falna updates.
Going for Atnir is the best choice for Astralite, he is powerful and covered enough to not make Falna useless.

I was walking to the shop, one earbud in, listening to a playlist my friend had sent me. It was pretty nice. A good mix of nice techno. And I knew the day would only get better. After I restocked my empty kitchen, I was planning on getting myself a can of Vanilla Coke and going on a trip to the arcades with my friends.

It was as I was humming along to the tune, happily walking that the first sign of my day being ruined happened. A sharp squeal of tyres and then a sudden shadow. Dumbly, I looked up as the trailer of the truck fell on top of me. Fucker couldn't even isekai me properly.

And so I died. Quickly though. The pain wasn't that bad either. Might've been because I died so fast but hey, don't sweat the details.

And as I died, I became aware of something greater than me. A sort of mathematical equation that was so abstract, so different compared to what I saw before during my A-Levels (and holy fuck was further maths basically a different language to me). It burned itself into me, becoming one with me and greater than me.

Next thing I know, I'm waking up in a forest in the middle of nowhere as this tall creepy pale guy with no face. And there ain't no way this girl is staying as Slenderman as all people. It wasn't long after I articulated that thought that I felt my body change. A bit (read: a lot) paler than before but I had dark hair! Wooooo!

I even tried to get whatever genderbent me back to being female to get me some other things but it seems like that's beyond it....

Let it be known, that I am not kind to accept forced changes laying down.

While the 'Become Galactic Emperor' part of the Paper Trial is fixed, using the P2 version to make some edits I can summon the archaic version of Astral trades to edit a setting in which I'll be an Emperor. Using some contacts, I traded the Star War setting with Jacob Walt's one. Let it be known there is nothing wrong with Star Wars, I just know his setting more.

Interestingly by doing this trade my title as Galactic Emperor is closer in size to the Star War canon. Instead of running the whole Galaxy, my dominion is around 15% of the galaxy, having another 10% as a buffer between this newly spawned place to my old setting.

Now, I have a new canon event to sort through.

I have managed to locate something beautiful. Two pieces of Code. One so far beyond my level that I can barely ascertain what it is for. The second being one just beyond my current Code and one that, after confirming it with several weeks of research, I can safely assimilate.

And so I did. The assimilation went smoothly and painlessly. In fact, the whole process was rather pleasing. After it had completed, I became aware of a change in my appearance and my new ability to create red strings from my hands.

Excalibur incident is big, there are a couple of things that I didn't mention last post.

For example, as per canon, Kiba gained a balance breaker but this time his balance breaker was even more complete since Tosca revealed herself to protect Kiba. This and spirits caused the Avengers to realise that true power comes from 'the will to protect' creating a mutation.

Another thing that is worth mentioning is the lack of Vali. It appears that being 1 year early makes the whole event conflict with other things, not that it matters since the combination of Vitra's many sacred gear and promotion to queen allowed Saji to make one of the best debuts to the wilder supernatural community. More importantly, the guy likely will get his reward from Sona.

Then there is Issei, even without a balance breaker he still performs amazingly, things would be much worse without his timely gift.

After it had been completed, I became aware of a change in my appearance and my new ability to create red strings from my hands.
Strings sound useful... and remind me of that one guy who uses one as a weapon.

With my complete control over Food, water and energy, alongside with high control over mass media, I can simply maintain my stake rather easily. There are merits on unrestricted mad people of Rapture, mostly on disregard of all that is holy for the sake of advancing science. There are demerits too of course but I believe I am in a position more than capable of dealing with such fallouts, or preventing them. Thus I'll let them do their stuff while watching, I want to see how far Rapture can be now that ADAM's threat far more diminished with my food.

Meanwhile, perhaps I should start looking into dealing with a certain peeper from another dimension~ Naughty children they are, ufufu~

Moving on, currently, I am in an X-over setting between Hidan no Aria, Law of Ueki, and Mx0. The God selection tournament just ended with my god, Mr Xunji claiming the local divine throne and I am currently studying at the Butei School where in this story protagonist of Mx0 also joins as an S-class Butei. Both he and Kinji seem to have field day being S-class... poor them!

I probably can already take over whole Rapture easily now, whether economically or by simply brute force. But I won't, ufufu~
Yeah it best to keep as is. Taking over would just give you more responsibility, lost outweigh gain!

Let's just say that the Hero searching thing still ongoing. It's actually far more difficult than I thought making something akin to Sword of Selection, then spread its legend. At the very least, it will take some decades to properly be a legend for Hero even with all my resources and power. The fact that we're back in sword and castle era is both a boon and bane for this as while information flows slower mean the 'Hero' thing spread rather limitedly, it's also cause enough uncertainty that spawn many legends naturally~

Though still, converting my Academy to be more fitting of those Isekai/Korean ones is a bit more successful, sorta. Eheheheh, it's certainly not hard to train the teacher as they are rather dedicated. I just need to elevate some of the more...brawny guys to act as martial teachers. These should be enough to train generations of students to be far more competent and more...magical? I don't think we will spread magical art wide but perhaps we can do some of those knight breathing thing? Ah, no, focus, basic foundation first.

Anyway yeahhh~ It's all constrained by Time right now~

Selling a Cheat is interesting,

On the 1 hand, I feel weaker and less inspired. I can just upgrade everything anymore which is sad... On the other hand, I get enough points to get a couple of new cheats myself which is nice.

The first power I bought is a Movie Magic... Not Zach-King-level bullshit, but I can at least refill a potato chip and do some woodworking with bare hands. Another one is more interesting though, newly acquired from Investor's mind... It's an ability to gain attributes of your equipment when you break it. Yes, all I need to do is break some engine and I would gain their horsepower.

Unsurprised to say this cheat has potential... but whether it will propel me to ROBhood remains to be seen.

It's actually far more difficult than I thought making something akin to Sword of Selection, then spread its legend.
Could've go with Tower of Trial or something like Castle of Temptation~

My recycler continues to prove its worth, having generated me a Loyalty SOUL, putting me at 19 SOULs out of the predicted 42 I require.

I have also recently taken to reading material on other potential settings that may interest me or be useful to me. So far, I have managed to find 2 that have grabbed my attention: Hollow Knight and the Nasuverse. As of this post, I have been preparing to go on a mission to the former. I find the way that the way that SOUL is used there very, very interesting.

As for the ability to gain the attributes of any equipment you break, I have several highly damaged SOUL weapons. Perhaps you could take them off my hands and destroy them for your benefit?

The New Galaxy is in Chaos,

Unfortunately, the common sense of Blue Star has seeped into many worlds during the merger causing many worlds rising the tension between various factions to the point where many worlds devolved into civil wars. Interestingly this means that the original villain of the setting, who was an arms dealer, doesn't even need to make moves.

Blue Star's mindset alone would make sure that demand would outweigh supply even if he were to turn a couple of dozen planet into a weapon factory. Assume other companies won't rise up and take over market shares.

Meanwhile, I an Emperor seem to be one in names only... I get I can't expect much from status given to be my Karre of all people.

As of this post, I have been preparing to go on a mission to the former.
Yeah Hollow Knight is certainly more interesting one. You should look into somewhere like Soul Eater too~
