I do not believe that I have yet shared my actions here in Danmachi with the rest of you here yet.

On my first day here, I decided to go searching for a God or Goddess to give me access to Falna as part of their Familia. I soon ended up stumbling upon a Goddess searching for some people to join her Familia. She introduced herself as Ereshkigal, a Goddess that did not appear in the volumes of the canon novel that I read, and I decided to join her. I spent the rest of the first day filling in the paperwork required for a new Familia and to become an adventurer.

The second day I spent in the Dungeon. Using my Chromas, I was able to quickly and safely travel to some rather deep floors (at least for a Level 1) and rapidly increase my STATS that way. My Magic was the first one of my STATS to hit 999, likely due to my constant use of it.

It was around the third day that I noticed something curious. It seemed that due to me possessing seventeen SOULs, I recieved far more Excelia than I should have. This naturally pleased me as it would allow me to achieve my goals of getting perfect STATS far far easier.

Today, my fourth day, I upgraded my unwieldy trident into a far more usable staff and managed to level up my other STATS by quite a large quantity. Nowhere near my desired perfection yet, but far closer than they were before.

...boy, that one is a doozy. So, Double right? Shapeshifter of dubious age, guarding the Skull Heart. Tried to 'entice' me to her side when I went to the church. And before you ask why, it's because I was looking for Valentine. Haven't mentioned her here, but she's the nurse that worked at Lab Zero. The reason for her being there is a Story(TM), and I can't be arsed to write this all down, but know that I warned her of the incoming raid so she can get the heck out of dodge.
If it is not too late for me to ask, would you mind giving me the Skull Heart? I would love to experiment with it and its power. I would make sure to pay you back as well. Perhaps I could make you some SOUL weapons?

And before I forget, have you figured out what your SOUL Trait is? If so, what are its effects?

...jesus FUCK, it's been a day and a half. And it's, what-- 9 am? Yeah, thereabouts.

I'll post a full update when my fingers stop shaking so hard they look like they're trying to dance the conga off of my hand and ride into the sunset.

If/when I get my hands on it, sure. Bitch escaped today. And the trait is Loyalty, actually. Empowers my allies-- though I think my power is messing with it a little, putting a twist on it.

Time passed and the dust started to settle...

From countless warlords and ruling organizations, only 6 managed to come out of this anarchy. First surprisingly is the union of 4 great universities; yes 4 sadly out of 6 universities the Dragon City University and Red Army University were destroyed during the great calamity. Thankfully humanity manages to preserve the legacies of both universities.

Red Army's Heroic Spirit Become especially powerful now that we have an influx of powerful dead cultivators. One might say that it was thanks to these that the Education Union became one of the biggest factions around...

But then there is Meng Chao's harem...

Bro here is seriously looking at society collapsing and going "Oh yeah, this shit doin' numbers"
My business is really good for in such a scenario, more girls throw caution to the wind now that they can't afford to not take the deal.

Hey! Greatest guy to ever live here!

Not.

Finally got around to writing here. Was distracted by a bunch of stuff besides just really trying to process all that happened myself.

Things went to shit!

Great, I know.

Turns out that getting into a secret underground facility and poking my nose around isn't exactly the best for when you eventually get discovered. Was doing so good too, with 610's creatures helping me out sneak around, got the first two days off scot-free.

Walrider was a bit of a shock admittedly. Or well, not so much Walrider and more what they were doing.

Trying to breed conduits... fucks sake.

Won't go over the details. Shit fucking sucked, and I got out of there real quick. Couldn't even manage to focus on anything besides that for the whole day.

I'll be the first to admit that trying to release the people they had captured down there... probably wasn't the best idea. Couldn't just leave 'em be though.

Had the whole of Murkoff on max alarm immediately though.
The fuck does a research facility have so much military equipment for anyway!?
Not like it helped them any.

Walrider, unlike in the outlast universe was very well and kicking here. And being released felt like letting out a wild beast into a field of sheep.

I helped, cuz fuck if I hadn't wanted to for a while now.

And wanna know a funny thing? Having a lockdown procedure in your secret facility is the worst when you're actually the one wanting to escape from it.

Pretty sure Murkoff regretted it if their begging as their intestines were splattered across the walls was anything to go by.

After, it was leaving the wreck of a place. And getting back to my place.
Brought Walrider with me, since I didn't know where to leave him, he's the one that'd been there the longest and had no place to return to.
For the others, the ones that survived, they scattered. I'm not sure how many of them will choose to stay alive though...

Can't worry about all of them though.

DUP is coming. I need to prepare.

It finally happened...

Some might expect something different but because not even some god-like being can avoid this idiot ball, Issei is doomed to fail from the start. Yes, I am talking about Yuuma's trap.

On the bright side, he is doing a lot better than canon. Even manages to trigger a Twice-critical mode of Boosted Gear; sadly that is about it as Yuuma quickly overwhelm Issei with the method of Light Spears. Thankfully Rias was summoned; seeing how good Issei is she decided to turn him into her pawn... Spending all 8 pawns in the process.

Yes, DxD is officially starting now, a semester early... I guess this might give more time for Issei to not sacrifice his arm.

DUP is coming. I need to prepare.
Are you going to pull "Home Alone" on them?

Alright, I'm doing a little better now. Calmed down a bit, and patched up the bruises on myself and Carol... we're ok.

As I said before, Carol ran off: she had been listening in during my talk with Princess Parasoul, and took exception at not being allowed to help. Despite all the pain she endured, that girl is still adamant in blaming the Skullgirls for her condition -- which is fair, considering it all started because she was turned into a weapon against them. Point is, she decided to join the raid of her own initiative, and I'm not sure of how, but she managed to find out when it would happen.

Cue her sneaking out in the wee hours of the morning. By her own admission, she hoped it would be done quickly enough that I wouldn't notice... ah, well.

I caught up to her while the fighting was starting to dim: the great majority of Parasoul's troops were down, leaving her and Carol to contend against Double-- who I will freely admit was kinda kicking their ass. Parasoul was very roughed up, being pretty much a regular human, so I took her spot in that fight.

Now, I do not advocate for violence, but kicking Double so hard she spat blood felt very cathartic.

Still, she ran off, but that was fine because we had worse to deal with: Marie Korbel, the Skullgirl.

...We got clowned on, pure and simple. The home field advantage gave Marie enough of a footing to keep up with all three of us-- but not enough to win, either. So when Carol's systems began to spaz out due to the damage they'd taken, Marie was quick to GTFO.

Had to calm down a berserk Carol on my own, but it's alright. I'm even sporting a pair of pretty badass scars on my arms courtesy of the Buer Drive.

Fukua was annoyed at having missed out on the fun, but it is what it is. For now that's everything-- ah no, wait. I almost forgot.

I am officially an apostle of the goddess of ruin and decay, Kate Morgensten. Not something I asked for, and it will make my life more difficult in some ways, but it does come with the added benefit of protecting me from divine politics. Kate can handle the annoyance of the Trinity over me kicking their pet nun's ass.

DUP is coming. I need to prepare.
Yeeeeah, bust some more faces in! I'm waiting on a blow-for-blow retelling later on.

Yes, I am talking about Yuuma's trap.
The more things change, the more they stay the same, huh? Kid didn't deserve that kind of treatment, honestly.

For the first time, I got called from the Head of State.

Just to give proper context the Head of State is not a person but rather a virtual amalgamate made from VI of all great figures collected since the creation of social media a million years ago. They are also the official employer of Fleet Admiral.

Yes, this is essentially an unexpected boss meeting situation.

We ended up meeting in the VR world, with 12 figures towering over my online avatar. It was here that we had a talk about everything, starting from how I adapt to my new workload to something mundane like what I planned to eat after the meeting. They are very friendly; at least until we get into the topic... What I learn surprised me.

I am officially an apostle of the goddess of ruin and decay, Kate Morgensten

Eheheheh, it seems the choice is taken from us. One of the Great Monster, the Kraken is here! And it's far different than befoe.

Where as before it's simply oversized house-sized octopus, now it easily dwarfed even modern battleship. It's the size of small island, and perhaps more. It's tentacle more than capable of smashing ironclad ship in twain and fast enough to take down a fighter jet by flinging some sort of teeth growing from its suckers. Its mouth can swallow the biggest of ship whole, creating a massive whirlpool that suck away everyone with no mercy. And worse of all, despite its prodigious size and power, it's very stealthy. Not only capable of camouflaging itself as ocean floor or an island, but turning wholly invisible that even the water itself undisturbed when it passes by.

Quite the tricky fellow, especially when we heard spells and steels alike deflected by its skin. Befitting truly of the legendary status, I am sure the Great Ones will be satisfied once we caught it~

But for now, we must prepare. This thing is can easily wipe out a kingdom after all~

What I learn surprised me.
Ooo, suspense~ Don't be such a tease~

Rias got Issei and Sona got Saji...

Considering that we probably have a whole year before the big incident (assuming Excalibur didn't get into trouble early) a lot of development can be spread out allowing both of them to have healthier development.

Saji in particular even get a windfall... Azazel who doesn't want to mess with Maoh's sister comes to make amend with Rias and Sona. This ends up with Saji himself getting a full set of Vitra sacred gear early. This means that Saji likely will end up ahead of poor Issei for the time being. But who knows, considering Issei's growth maybe he could keep up with the early balance breaker without sacrificing his arm.

If that happens, Vali's in for a surprise.

Quite the tricky fellow, especially when we heard spells and steels alike deflected by its skin.

I found a pet. Or rather, she found me.

So, as it turns out Carol and Fukua weren't the only remnants of Lab Zero. Brain Drain's gynoid, Robo-Fortune, managed to get out too... somehow. If you're curious about the name, it's because she is the mechanical copy of one miss Fortune. Maybe if I meet her I'll say more about her, not very important right now.

Point is that I was out for groceries, and ran into her. She then proceeded to challenge me to a fight, claiming she had to "apprehend the escapee," and had to "bring you back to the lab". A lab that doesn't exist anymore, so... yeah. She's not particularly bright.

Ended up bonking her on the head, and that bit of percussive maintenance seemed to unlock a few things in that noggin'-- not to say she's smarter. No, she's still got the sharpness of a brick. She just replaced Brain Drain with me as her boss. And considering just how buggy her programming is, it makes it much easier to just think of her as a dull cat that can speak more than anything else.

Fukua didn't mind one more person in the apartment-- it's a big place, thankfully, but it is getting a little cramped. Carol... well, she's not lashing out or anything, but I can see she's not thrilled.

I might have to take a mission soon, thinking about it. Got things I want to do.

Congratulation, working under Senior Sirius wife gotta be some honor!
She is... very mercurial, I'll say this much. Not outwardly malicious, not since a long while ago... which I can only thank Sirius for. But yeah, there are pros and cons to it.

A bit more time passed; a new government was formed from an agreement between all parties.

Meng Chao became the 1st Head of State within the new government, overseeing the livelihood of non-Super and basic education systems. Surprisingly Universities decided not to take control of education departments, instead, they went with industrial and defence which make a lot of sense. The rest also get their department... Amusingly everyone agrees I should become Minister of Finance.

And so, my trading club have turned into Dragon City National Bank. Predictably I got contacted by Senior and got myself acquainted with the [C]. Soon enough humanity now uses money backed by their collective Future.

Good to be a plot device existence sometime.

Fukua didn't mind one more person in the apartment-- it's a big place, thankfully, but it is getting a little cramped.

Meanwhile, my scientists finally pull their weights and developed some things. Yes, we do have regular scientists here.

Nothing too big, just improvements of what we had and nothing really notable overall. Thought we do start adapting the clankers technology over here, which means advancement in engineering and robotics. Which really means that we have walker car instead of the ones use tire down here in Rapture now. It's not exactly improvement, though much suited Rapture since our roads are rather chaotic sometimes. But most people here just see fancy thing and decide they want it.

Ufufu, as expected of people who willingly to reside in this forsaken place. At least ADAM outbreak still far, far away now due to my food alleviate most of the problem...but I've heard some resistance to my products starting to go to the deep end..I can't wait~

So you're making a Rapture tolerant dog?
Ufufu, I suppose it can be seen that way, but closer to designer dog truly. Smarter, stronger, take less care and food. But in the end still just regular dogs. It will be a custom order only as we can't scarcely afford wild dogs in Rapture.

To my surprise, Rias and Sona decided to invite me to Familiar Forest.

Since there aren't that many new members joining Issei and Saji ended up going into this trap on their own with me and Satoji as their advisors. The trip honestly was not what I expected.

First, we receive a nice tour across the forest Issei want to see Nymph and Undine only to be disappointed by how buff they are, and then they go see some slimes and tentacles, Issei end up packing two of them for Matsuda and Motohama... but then we reach Tiamat caves; as if this is a Jackpot, she stay in forest today; poor Issei learned about his true gear by almost being burn alive by Dragon King, good thing I am here.

Ultimately, the whole event ends smoothly... Saji gets his Nymph, Issei gains Dragon Bro. All in all, life is good.

Ufufu, I suppose it can be seen that way, but closer to designer dog truly. Smarter, stronger, take less care and food.

I would post about my acceptance to the UA proper but it's still not the time, should be the day after tomorrow or the day after that.

I mostly posted because by sheer accident, I met our resident fake yandere. With my suit, she wasn't really much of a threat so I ignored her and just kept walking. She took an exception for that and tried to scare me, also trying to actually attack me. I just watched as she slipped on a bottle and asked if she wanted to try again. Which she did and she slipped on a newspaper this time around. I just watched again and asked her again. For the last time she tried again but luckily not slipped on something. Instead, a newspaper just flown to her face as sudden gale happens, thrown off her balance and she landed straight into a dog feces.

I felt pity so I brought her home, actually a safe house, and treat her bruises she got from falling. She currently sleeping loudly after I fed her high sugar shakes and sweets.

All in all, life is good.
That's all that matter I suppose. Interesting place to walk around at elast.

Ultimately I refuse to lower standards, citing that these were done with my own money.

Heads of State, not convinced, immediately open funding allocation and quickly learn that they haven't invested in three great fleets beyond paying the commissioned officer for almost a decade.

This shocked them to the point where they noticed sabotages in their virtual mind that made them miss this problem.

Amusingly by disobeying the Head of State, I end up finding out about foreign sabotage. What was supposed to be minor offences ended up a great merit. I walked into a Fleet Admiral 'by career' and came out with a proper five-star general ranks couple with my titles as Planet Lord this mean that I am most powerful man below Head of States themselves, a massive upgrade influential wise~

The Kraken simply too strong~ I could simply summon a great one but the devastation, and cost, most likely be too much~ Thus I've come up with an idea, ehehehe~

Hero creation kit! I was thinking that since we can't defeat the Kraken, and other monsters, why not find or even make someone who can? I can't exactly summon people across words safely yet sadly, let alone giving them cheat in the journey. But I can construct a super massive ritual that span the entire world, a "Hero's Journey" sort of ritual where someone who undergoes it will steadily grow stronger with experience and adventure. One might thing that if I can make such thing then I should be able to just blast the monster, but that's how magic works~ It's a Mystery and following a certain pattern amplify its power~

Of course, I'll also implement Great Ones' into said journey. Granting Boons and Trials alike, in exchange for many things and the Hero's own success. Optional, but it's there.

This might be fun, ehehehe~

Essentially, the world sucks and every bigshot thinks that the standard of living needs to be pushed further down.
Pity, pity~ I suppose that's what happened when the distance between head of state and average people stretched to galactic level~ Good on you able to play up the situation though~

So... I become the master of Dragon King,

Everything starts with the familiar forest, as a teacher I simply want to protect my students from being a subject for sins they didn't commit. So when Tiamat demand poor boy to pay for the Welsh Dragon's scam I stand up to protect him.

Fight was surprisingly easy, I don't think Tiamat expected a human of my calibre to appear in Hell. Chaos Karma Dragon is not kind to back down though and since I'm yet strong enough to win her outright I decided to compromise. She challenges me to pay for Ddraig's debt citing that if I do she'll become my familiar. Seeing that it is surprisingly cheap I do a quick mission and use CP from that to buy everything for her.

That is how I became a new master of Dragon Queen Tiamat, the Chaos Karma Dragon.

Hero creation kit! I was thinking that since we can't defeat the Kraken, and other monsters, why not find or even make someone who can?

Underwater farm is quite the idea.

Using the sunstone Dorothy excavated and Chiyo's power to copy trait, I've created Sunflower that can truly replace sun as light and heat source. As expected of xuanhuan based plant, it just require far less nutrients than what it produce. With it, all our facilities will become far more efficient and self-sustaining, though Chiyo seemed enamoured about the possibility of creating creature that can engage in nuclear fusion to create more energy. Which is fine I suppose but we can generate more with our sunflower powered solar panel.

In any case, I've created even more farms all across the ocean floor. Deep in the darkness, far from detection of anyone. Just to make sure, we have some creature to create cloud of particulate over time to mess with any sonar reading and orbital view.

Do I actually need more farms? No, I don't, but just trying new thing is fine.

She challenges me to pay for Ddraig's debt citing that if I do she'll become my familiar.

Since I introduced new money, I have to take responsibility for setting up the economic system.

After some discussion with AI, I managed to come out with a fairly safe way to introduce Midas money, the universal basic income. Instead of giving them full access to their Midas account, we'll give our citizen 1% of their Midas account every year. To make sure they won't just sit on the money, we limit these grants to tax-paying people and limit use on specific goods and services listed by the government.

This way people will be incentivised to earn enough money to pay taxes and Midas money will slowly integrate into their lives turning our city into a true future-backed economy. Not to mention we pretty much get to deduct all their based taxes from the moment they were born.

Meng Chao seemed to like this idea, he even decided to help me get to the city centre ~

Himiko Toga is, to put simply, a troubled girl.

I am not sure if I can manage her but giving her blood isn't a problem at all. Whether special made synth or someone that willing to share their own blood, it would be easy for me tor provide her. And it seemed she understand it too as she declared she wanted to stay in my place. She is a criminal so turns her over to the police would be the lawful choice but moral wise, I suppose allowing her here might be better?

I never expected this development and I don't know what will happen. I suppose I can give it a bit more time.

I wonder if this Meng Chao fully grasps the scale of this plan...most likely not. Quite devious thing I must say.

Coming back to school was an event.

Since I became an official 'master' of Tiamat my position in school changed overnight. From somewhat quirky mages to an asset that shouldn't be made an enemy; I can even see Devil's reaction to Rias' act.

Talking about Rias, she comes in to ask for help. As per canon, she is engaged with Riser, while she got her brother's word she wants another guarantor who her mom and dad wouldn't convince. On this note, considering she helped me a lot I agreed to be her guarantor making a deal with Grimory Senior to keep Riser from school until she graduated from highschool.

With these words, all debt is off and Rias owes me a favor now.

She is a criminal so turns her over to the police would be the lawful choice but moral wise, I suppose allowing her here might be better?
Yeah... Send her to police now would just make thing worse imo

I'll make it short, since there wasn't much to say about this mission. Blaire wanted me to do this in exchange for her help, so I got a masterball and Gary for it.

Took a couple of throws, and almost and hour of being sneaky, but I managed to nail Cell in the head with a good throw, and passed him over to Blaire.

As my status grew, so too did my territory.

With my hegemony reign over entire star clusters, the space becomes too much even for an admiral like me to write off as a private military base. This means that now, it's time for me to officially turn my territory into a recognized core region of the nation.

This is not a small deal, it means a need to overhaul not just infrastructure but also laws and policies, especially a visitors.

Hence why to delay the trouble that comes with true Daxia citizens I decided to create a false core, one that is open to all visitors. This place, code name, Galactic Trap will be a paradise where Young Master and Gold Digger converge, where all kinds of troublemakers gather causing trouble on a perfectly isolated planet. Good compromise until I passed all relevant law to prevent these people from causing trouble.

Took a couple of throws, and almost and hour of being sneaky, but I managed to nail Cell in the head with a good throw.
LOL, mighty Cell get captured by Masterball~

Mission:

So, with the mission done and payment received, I spent the CP to twist history a bit so that Blaire is a recognized practitioner. That was partly to ensure everything checked out in case anyone (cough cough Princess Parasoul cough) looked too deep into how Carol returned to normal.

And on that topic, yes: Carol has been getting every bit of Brain Drain's upgrades removed-- or, well, most of them. She is still far stronger than a normal person, but at least now she doesn't have a massive spinning blade jutting out of her back, or an overheating engine in her gut. Blaire even went as far as to nearly remove the scarring on Carol's face, leaving her able to go around without getting stared at.

Her brain chemistry is still a bit volatile, flushing everything out wasn't easy so the best option was to just let it settle down on its own. But beyond that... she's fine. And will get to return to her family soon.

On that note, I have to take the chance to spend more time with Fukua. Even if Carol did need the attention and help, with her unstable condition, it doesn't excuse me from leaving Fukua more or less to her devices. She's... well, I don't want to say she's my responsibility exactly, but I did take her in. Should get some kind of rapport going, if we're going to be around each other in the foreseeable future.

...Bah, there I go again rambling. I'll just go now, still have a lot to take care of.

Hence why to delay the trouble that comes with true Daxia citizens I decided to create a false core, one that is open to all visitors.
And I heard you're getting some 'help' with it, eh? Congrats, mate.

The city centre is mine,

While the University is a bit sad that they can't freely research it anymore they admit that it's better to let the engine as is and put all focus on pulling the Dragon City out of its current precarious state. This means there is no one watching at the moment... Not! Unfortunately that guy, still exists, the secret police one that keeps important members of the government from conducting some shady stuff.

My power could feel them snooping around and setting up base at the mouth of the underground facility. They seem to be paranoid about my request to take control of the tower.

Sadly for them, they don't know what I know... I have no need to explore the place; controlling the tower is just for sake of convenience ~

But beyond that... she's fine. And will get to return to her family soon.
Good to know that Astral support has managed to turn a world for the better!
