She might end up with Sasuke, actually. Kakashi became his sensei in large part due to him being the only other person in Konoha with a Sharingan (excluding Danzo's Sharing-arm). This timeline, Sasuke still has his brother to teach him the ins-and-outs of their dojutsu, and it'll likely be far more effective that way. Given how well genjutsu and the Sharingan mix, Sasuke's a good candidate for learning under Kurenai.
I don't know if it's canon or not, but I thought that the Hyuga had passive almost 360-degree vision, and active local omniscience. Neither of these suggest sniper to me.
while yes they do have 360 degree vision with their Eyes active, their Vision goes to 10km out(part two Hinata sees that far) and they have hilariously fine accuracy
The all around vision is only when their eyes are active. And it's actually about 359 degree vision, they have a blind spot directly above their own first thoracic vertebrae for some reason never expanded upon.

Ehhn, that would be a bit too much. If Jariya, a noted seal expert who taught Minato couldn't do more than contain it, I doubt it would be something Naruto could just peel off and call Orochimaru a hack about as a Genin. It would come off as way too far into Sue territory. I could see it being something that once Naruto sees, he might make it a project to work on, and eventually figure something out after he hits Jounin.
Hinata is noted for having exceptional long ranged capabilities and precision with the Byakugan though. I would highly doubt that her would be indicative of a common Hyuuga.
They can also see through objects to spot their target.
To be fair we don't actually know how much variation there is between individual Byakugan users only that Neji being able to see chakra points is exceptionally rare, it is possible that the blind spot is a tradeoff for that specific to Neji.

Naruto noted that they're not going to try to copy the sharingan because it pulls energy from some unknown external source to work. So that's probably related.
That assumes that people know precisely what it is that the Uzumaki call the Paperwork Jutsu. If all they know is that the Uzumaki had a jutsu that made paperwork take nearly no time at all, they may assume it's something other than Mass Shadow Clones.
