+Increases your Elemental Mastery: Wind a lot

As clan head, we are pretty much obligated to take diplomacy training from Fugaku until Fugaku is willing to admit he's out-classed by an 8-year-old girl. While he's busy angrily stairing at the back of our head for taking the clanship from him.

This will either be great schadenfreude or end in assassination attempts. Maybe both.

Maybe Wood Release is actually a Kekkai Totai of sorts (three element combination)? Water, Earth, Physical or Life Energy.

Yeah, I can see why. In canon the Uchiha massacre was explained away as Itachi killing everyone seemingly out of the blue and beyond anyone's power to have stopped, but here it's pretty clearly the third's fuckup from start to finish. One of his oldest friends and close adviser masterminded a plot to slaughter a founding clan and successfully pushed Sarutobi into driving the Uchiha into a state of near rebellion. He also allowed this madman to create a personal army/cult under his watch which is going to look worse and worse if ROOT left any records about their activities.

Reasoning:
1. Us, Korin, Naruto and Sasuke would benefit from the chance to talk to each other.
2. Clan council would help us keep our clan together.
3. Nanako is dead, so we need to fill that spot.
4. Shigaru is father's friend (and Hokage's son) - it's an important connection.
5. Invisible friend, who knows a lot is just as important.

6. Need to teach new generation, it would also help us in learning those jutsu/elements.
7,8,9. To increase our competency as a head of the clan.

Edit: Included Haru into training with children.

I kind of like this plan better.

Although we are the new generation. There's not much reason for us to teach the new generation yet.
 
I doubt Pregenin are allowed to use those secret scrolls. If we weren't given the honorary rank, we wouldn't be allowed either.

Also they are likely better off with training of the basics than powerful Jutsus they both lack the chakra and the control for.

Those scrolls contain rich theoretical base and ideas for those jutsu. Those in graduation year of academy should learn at least some of those jutsus to insure their survival.

Yes, she's a really good Water Element user, and would do almost anything for 'Rin-sama!'. I didn't remember to put it in the post, but know that it's on the table regardless.

Perhaps, but Rin wouldn't take the scrolls themselves out of the library. She could memorize the contents with her Sharingan, though.

    Unless that is the "party". A solemn annual affair to remember the dead? With an emphasis on how it was caused by disloyalty to the village and the clan.

    The main point is not scrolls themselves, but a deep understanding of the material.
    This would let us share Shisui's advice on dealing with grief, bind other kids to us and tie their friends to Uchiha clan.

    I wonder who are the possible Hokage Candidates of the 3rd retires.

    Jiraia is doing his spy network.
    Tsunade is still griefing/away from the village/missing-nin in all-but-name.
    Kakashi as a Dark Horse Candidate?
    Maybe Shikaku - the Jounin Commander - has to step up, if he wasn't too lazy for it.
