Jason is supposed to show up in the show based on leaks. He finds out Robin's identity and gets taken under his wing. Then ends up as the new Robin under Batman, when Dick becomes Nightwing. I'm not sure how that is supposed to work with this Dick thought. And the fact that WB keeps embargoing 'movie' characters from appearing. Are they just going to have phone calls back and forth. Is Jason going to be shipped off to never be seen again. Who knows.

Raven is 13-14
Beast Boy is 22
Dick is 28

So they really should keep Raven out of any of that shit. But maybe she gets paired with some other person joining the team.

But they might have some Hawk and Dove right off the bat. Since they are a couple and EXTREME already.

Let's see if I can even remember anything from the old show...

Raven: Is calm and stoic as fuck because her emotions make her powers go out of control and she's actually probably the most powerful member on the team it's just that using that would fuck over literally everyone so she's on an enforced calmness thing so she doesn't hurt the few people that care about her.
Starfire: The opposite. Her powers come from/are activated by emotional intensity. Also something about home planet being a lot more open about things that humans aren't.
Beast Boy: Something something vegan somethign something loves raven enough that he gets told his DNA is literally unravelling itself and he doesn't give a fuck because he needs to know raven's okay
Cyborg: Something something themes of racism/sticking out/trying to fit in/enjoys mechanic stuff and blowing shit up?
Robin: i are leader, i are good leader, also something about being slade prodigy because reasons? Not sure I ever finished up that plotline

And then... this thing...

Raven: i am scared and afraid because i am possesed person who likes that dark feeling when the monster goes RAWR xD!!

When the set leaks came out, I thought the fur coat was just a temporary disguise with a scene of comedic confusion with people mistaking Starfire for a hooker. But instead it's actually part of her outfit as much as Robin's? The hell.

Not helping that new leaks say she is supposed to be the aggressive rough violent Wolverine of the team. When they already have Robin snapping and stabbing necks and tell his adoptive father to go fuck himself like he's a moody teenager instead of a 30-year old man.

Instead of being a Titans trailer, I got edgy bullcrap that's more unpopular then Herpes.

I mean, I'm not a big comic book fanatic, but even I know the basics. First one being, Dick Grayson doesn't hate Batman or kill.

Secondly, Raven doesn't act like a stereotypical goth girl who is scared of her own shadow. And the less I say about the crap CGI for her powers, the better.

About the only good thing I can say about Starfire is her costume isn't stripperwear like comics does, yet at the same time, well.....

Beast Boy? He was in there? I didn't see him, at all.

Given Nightwing has literally been raped before, this kinda comes across as really bad taste at best.


As for the topic of the thread.

Oh. Oh dear. This warrants more time and many paragraphs of words. And formatting. And demonstrative images. I shall return in due course.
 
Ironic that many complained of Teen Titans Go for its trend of usually immature, typically toilet humor. Marketed towards young demographics as its core, though it has a few interests from other demographics its main viewers and buyer (or get parent to buy) of merchandise seem to be young.

To now the new Titans live action series which is overly grim and serious and 'mature', the edgy type of mature. With a tone and aesthetic that will likely alienate many as well.

Then I googled and found out only is the Midnighter in mainstream DC comics and has been for years

but that he and Dick Grayson have starred in various books together

And are a popular fanfiction pairing on ao3 (where the porn lives) because of all the large musclemanness they ooze at each other

So now I am forced to admit that you were being weird and crass with a slight basis in fact :V

Its an epidemic in african continent, and its also used in wartime before UN shuts that shit down. In historical context its often used to 'punish' LG but then again this is from a community (at the time) leader who thinks taking a shower can cure AIDS and so does virgin sex w women.

My apologies for the understatement; it is in artifact of English humour that does not translate well to text. In no small part because it can be, as is definitely the case here, indistinguishable from flippant minimisation of something ugly.

That may not have been my intention, but it is how it came out (which is the bit that matters), and that was an error on my part.

And it wouldn't be the first (Or likely last time) Nightwing was raped. But I would not be surprised if someone gets raped in this show.

Is this secretly being directed by Zack Snyder? It seems edgier then his DC films, and we have only had a trailer.

IIRC that was by Nightshade but I could be wrong, and don't think so since Snyder hasn't been the same since the loss of his kid. Could be Goyer though.
