...Still need a tiebreaker vote for the title.

Alright, awesome! Gonna get to work on the update tomorrow. So, if anyone has any omake ideas for Karl Urban, the editing team, or Aaron Paul, then it might be best to do them today.

Not trying to pressure anyone, or anything though.

09- Reshoots and- holy shit, we own the rights to Luke Cage and Ghost Rider?

[X] Spider-Man: A Shock of Heroism.

You had decided to reshoot some of the scenes with Karl and Aaron, along with getting the editors to do some more work, touching up the movie.

Editing Reroll: 70.

Well, to start off... the editing was quite a bit better. Sure, it wasn't perfect, but it was still really good, there weren't any weird cuts, or any of the minor things that had just... annoyed you.

Now that you were satisfied with the editing, it was time to move on to the reshooting.

Eddie Brock (Karl Urban) Screen Presence Reroll: 68.

Karl Urban had put on a far better performance this time, it seems that he just didn't really know what to do with the character of Eddie Brock. Andrew had helped on that front, giving him a few comics with Venom in them to help with his performance. You actually liked his portrayal of Eddie, in the few scenes that he was in.

Marty Schultz (Aaron Paul) Screen Presence Reroll: 95.

And finally, there was Aaron Paul, putting on his A-game here, he was incredibly enjoyable to watch when he was doing crime, showing off an intense, yet comedic performance. But, where he truly shined was when he was with Alfie Allen's Herman, he was kind, funny, and even a bit goofy at times when he was joking around with his younger brother. It was truly a shame that he had to die, but it was to get the plot moving on, so you weren't going to change it.

You'd also finally managed to come up with a title for the movie, there was a bit of a debate over whether to do the original idea, or The Spectacular Spider-Man, but eventually, you went with the other one, and it seemed that everyone was at least happy with it.

Spider-Man: A Shock of Heroism.

You felt that it was pretty damn good, at least in your opinion.

Now, you had to do some... things, before the film eventually releases. More than likely just some marketing stuff, though... you could try to get the rights to some characters other than Spider-Man, Luke Cage, Ghost Rider, and their collective Rogues Galleries... you'll be honest, you just thought you had Spider-Man, and when one of your interns gushed about being able to possibly be on the set of a Luke Cage or Ghost Rider movie? You looked into it, and were shocked that Sony had the rights to them.

You can do up to 3 things before the movie releases.

So, I'll be honest, I just learned that we own the rights to Luke Cage and Ghost Rider, so that's actually really cool. Definitely opens up some new ideas, though we will lose the rights to them if we do nothing by 2013... so we might at least want to put them in something.

Anyways, I honestly forgot to do this vote during the pre-production, so I'm just doing it now. I'll do it properly in the next movie we do.

Oh, and please use a Plan Vote format for this, just to make it easier on me, and the tally.

One problem here.

You have to write-in the merchandise... mostly because I'd only think of Spider-Man/Shocker toys, and thought you guys would be more creative.

It works for me, the truth is I have no opinion and I don't care what plan I win

@Nystical, how about alongside the toys, add costumes of both Spider-Man and Shocker? Kids dress up a lot on Halloween and the new Spidey is gonna be fire!

Based on a True Story, this can be far greater than anything else

May I suggest licenced fashion dolls for Gwen and Felicia in a deal with Barbie(tm). Good co-branding, and we can also then sell all of the different film outfits too.

Since we have Luke Cage and Ghost Rider, here's a few ideas for worldbuilding:
- 1) The "Electro-Biochemical System" that gave Luke Cage his powers was part of several attempts to create the Oz Formula.
-- If part of OsCorp, Dr. Burnstein was illegally utilizing the prisoners to further his research into the Formula without the "authorization" of Norman Osborn.
-- Alternatively [if we go with my S2 pitch], Dr. Burnstein's experiments are part of Kraven's prior attempts at having the Parker variant of the formula recreated, this being the incident that has Herman Schultz recruited to spy on Dmitri Kravinoff.

- 2) We use Danny Ketch for our version of the Ghost Rider [building a trilogy around his own exploits], given his ties to NYC and Spider-Man; perhaps we can also use Nick Cage's Johnny Cage as a de-powered(?) mentor to Ketch, implying continuity with the 2007 movie while being a soft-reboot of the franchise. [Would have suggested Robbie Reyes, but he's not making his debut for another four years].
-- This way, we can slowly build up the mystical side of the Spider-Verse, Madame Web least among them.

- 3) Use a Black Cat movie to introduce the character of Luke Cage, and given our current limitations, have Felicia Hardy take Jessica Jones' place in any potential future 'Heroes for Hire' projects, aiming the projects toward the strictly more True Crime aspects of the setting.

Since we currently have Ghost Rider and Luke Cage as part of the Sony-Verse, we need to capitalize on it and use them in the next two years if we want any chance of keeping their film rights, meaning that we need to postpone releasing Spider-Man 2 until 2013 at the earliest. But before we go decide which one, we need to have a discussion how they help with our current worldbuilding, and toward that end, here's my proposal of a loose outline of what the in-SpiderVerse timeline should look like:

Spider-Man 1 -> Luke Cage -> Spider-Man 2 -> Black Cat -> Spider-Man 3 / Sinister Six
___________________________________ -> Ghost Rider

Here's what I figure, given that we want our Sinister Six to be the first Supervillain teamup movie but we also don't want to overcrowd the Spider-Man movies with too many villains, that we use the Ghost Rider, Luke Cage and Black Cat movies as a backdoor to justify their presence in the teamup. [It is also why I'd like to tender a suggestion to have Spider-Man 3 and Sinister Six to act as a two part finale to our Phase I, to help actually build up the villains introduced in SM3.]

For that reason, my suggestion is for Luke Cage's debut villain to either be Tombstone or Chemistro, with a Mafia leader running shit in the background. Tombstone, while nominally a Spider-Man/Daredevil villain, can be set up to be a dark mirror to Cage and help flesh out a bit of NYC's criminal underground; helps that he's actually been a part of the Sinister Six [6]. And Chemistro, arguably Luke's archenemy in any form, can be used to help create social commentary on the matter of income inequality; it doesn't hurt we can use him to continue setting up OsCorp as the ones ultimately repsonsible for the current state of the SonyVerse NYC. Either Kingpin or Cottonmouth would work here, with Mister Negative and/or Hammerhead introduced as opposing factions; could prove to be useful later down the road, for a potential Gang War storyline.

Black Cat's should be the Rose, feeding into her vendetta against the Mafia and to keep it in the Heist genre. However, it shouldn't be Richard Fisk at this point, as Kingpin hasn't been a main focus as of yet, which would undermine his character a bit, and instead I propose that we go with Roderick Kingsley as the Rose [as Tom DeFalco wanted to do during his run of the character]; this way, we can even connect him to Mysterio, changing his origins from a fashion designer to a prop master to better sell the idea that they're partners.

Since it's a little early to whip out Mephisto straight out the gate as the BBEG to defeat in the first movie, and to continue using this as a backdoor the Sinister Six, the first opponent should Mysterio. Here, Quentin Beck made a bid for greater recognition and success made a deal with Deathwatch, who gave him exactly what he wanted...at a price; Quentin survives the end of the movie, only by the hand of mercy, when Ketch exorcises him of the demon's taint, but given his activities it leaves him with a ticket to prison.

With that out of the way, this still leaves us three-to-four more slots to fill for the Sinister Six, which can be decided by the other Spider-Man scripts; as you know, my suggestions for two of them are already Kraven and Rhino [SM2-draft].

There's a few other ideas I'd like to share, such as having Sinister Six being a Prison Breakout movie from the perspective of the villains, that it should tease a few of the villains of the next phase (such as Venom and Green Goblin), and that George Stacy is running wild in the background dealing with all of this nonsense, making him our version of Fury. It's all a rough ideas, I know, and hinges a lot on our new acquisitions, but it's a start and we don't got a lot of time to make something with them.
We can sell web thrower toys ...
why does our spiderman have them right?
We forgot to write it into the plot, so...maybe? I hope so, I like seeing Inventor Parker ['90s/OTL/PS4].
