If this is the all-knowing and all-powerful God, that means when he says "Don't worry, I got this." Odds are he really does have something in mind. Plus it doesn't mean we still can't help out Humanity, but I rather not have to try and serve alongside Lucifer. I like the versions of him where he is a very quiet and worldly individual, but I imagine that happened AFTER the War in Heaven. Basically I don't expect him to be a mellow person to work alongside.

Anyway, if we have free will then we can help humanity out in our way.

Lucifer is the greatest of the Heralds, meaning that he has the best understanding of God. Furthermore, he exists inside Creation rather than outside of it, meaning that he has the best perspective. If he feels that there is cause to doubt God's decision on this matter, then chances are good that he is right. More so than us, more so than the rest of the Heralds, and much more so that the rest of the Houses.

Besides, we're not really rebelling. After all, God commanded the angels to guide the humans but also never to reveal themselves. Thus far, this has produced no results but much heartbreak, both on the parts of humans who tremble in mindless fear and on the parts of angels who must watch their charges grope about in the darkness. To fulfill the more important of God's commands, we are forced to break the other.

Something that God will surely forgive considering that we act out of love.

God rewards those who are loyal to Him. Michael, yeah he was originally in the lower ranks of the Heralds yet when he remained loyal and sided with God against Lucifer, God made him His new second-in-command. Not only that but the Nusku are all about faith, they control the very fire that is faith. We need to stick to that people, we need to stay the course. All that happens is God's Divine Plan.

Even if we will not be forgiven, we should not let it stop us from serving our Creator to the best of our capabilities. We are of the Heralds, the first and greatest of the angelic host. Others can compromise on their principles for the sake of mere safety, but we are made of higher, better stuff.

We should help humanity in the open instead of persisting in our current cruelty because it is the right thing to do. If we are punished for making our choice, then so be it. Whatever the punishment, it will be a small price to show our love for our Creator and our Creation.

In essence, the rebels are planning to offer them knowledge, though it's a bit more complicated than having them eat a piece of fruit.

We're voting on whether we want to support them.

Yes, we are of the Heralds. The voice of God. And it is His wish that we not interfere in the evolution of humanity. He created them and He has a plan for them. It is not our place to question that plan. Lucifer is the one who helps directly, just as He willed it and we are to watch over them and fan the flames of faith, as is our role is His plan.

We are not questioning God. We are reconciling conflicting commands to the best of our capabilities.

God must remain outside of Creation, which is why we were created to lead the other houses in implementing God's will. We interpret God's will when we issue our commands to our brethren, who then interpret our commands in the course of their work.

This is more of the same. We have been commanded to love humanity above all other things, but at the same time, we have also been commanded to never reveal ourselves. Our current course of action means consigning humanity to a world that they do not understand and cannot understand. This is cruel. Worse, this is pointless because it has produced no results and shows no signs that it will ever produce results.

We are already breaking God's command by clinging to our current course of action. By revealing ourselves, we will simply be changing which of God's commands we break.

Thus, He has removed that which conflicts us and has allowed us to abide by both of His commands as He wishes. Discussion of rebellion will, ultimately, lead to actual rebellion and thus the humans will be helped further their...education. We will follow our Father and do as He wishes, that is to say that we will watch them, while the rebellion in their infinite love for humanity will help them as He has willed it.

Do you see now how nothing happens that He has not willed, how everything follows in the path that He has laid out before us all.

There may be some overarching plan, but that is really not our problem. We can only deal with the immediately obvious problem.

The angels that have questioned God have all died. It is our duty to challenge Her behaviour. Because that is not the behaviour of a leader worth following.

because no thoughtful being would set in motion a plan that casually kill's hundreds of his loyal servants.
 
For the Angels who dissapeared after questioning God

You are pretty sure they are dead, you can theorize God killed them for their impudence, but it is not the only theory. Perhaps they were assimilated to be able to see through God's own eyes.

Apotheosis or Anhilation, like the later fate or mortal souls, one can look quite like the others.
 
Unrelated your Angelic Title : is "Steropes The Green Lion who Devours the Black Sun, Principalty of the Golden Sun" You oversaw the link between the Sun and Gold on many layers of reality.
 
Because it is the current Alchemical symbol and Sun and Alchemy were tied

So you worked with the Fates as part of the team that created and managed the Sun and the Primals as one of creators of the link between light, gold and the sun
 
@ganonso I got a question. Are the angels here genderless? Since in other places they are described as beings that do not posess physical form and do not reproduce sexually only be made. Are you taking this stance or something else?
 
Angels have genders: Male, Female and Neutral (really common among the Third and Fourth Houses). They have a sexuality of sort and can be of any sexual orientation even if they don't reproduce and don't have a body.

If that is true, then it is all the more reason that we should be part of the number that will reveal ourselves. Those who mean to remain separate cling to an old and familiar road. In contrast, those who mean to show themselves in their infinite love walk a dark and unknown path with dangers unrevealed.

We were created to light the way for our brethren. Let us do so in service to those who need us most rather than those of our brethren who risk all by risking nothing.
