In the service of the Name: Mounkir Principalty of the Shadowed Throne, Choir of Geburah
[On the Old Ones]
Reports from Morenor indicates multiples incursions. Officers of the Choir of Daath disengaged after constating they were no match for the Asura legions. Contrary to what we thoughts, the Titans don't seem to press their advantage and advance in the mainland but rather to terraform extensively the continent under their sway. Agents from Binah testify important reworking of the geomancy of the place in imitations to the Primordials. While no Asura of the Third Circle had been spotted, numerous citizens have established palaces and outposts in the new environment. The human population seems to serve as prayer-cattle for the Titans Predictions concur the Titans will consolidate their position further, even trying to merge the continent with their prison in order to summon a Third Circle to direct the next phase of their plan.
In addition, several incursions from an unknown party have been discovered in Belfalas, Arnor and even near the abomination the Shedim has made of Sagun. Organisms seem to be humanoids albeit subterranean and able to forge crude weapons and armor. They are also extremely poisonous which suggest they descend from the Many-Toothed-Blossom.
[On Daath]
Despite their failure in Morenor, the Choir of Daath seems to have weathered the storm with minimal losses. One reason is their new habit to take human apprentices and teaching them the crudest of magic enabling to reweave the Tapestry after an incursion. For the moment they are not very efficient but some of them show promise. More controversial is the decision of some members of the Choir to teach their disciples fragments of angelic names. While these phonemes are not enough to enable them control, they give them minor applications of Lore and crude sorcery. As always Daath is asking for more weapons to devote to their conflict while the rest of us are embroiled in the war against the Fallen.
[On the Primarchs Project]
We have received from your colleagues one of the first units of the Primarchs projects and the contingent of warriors with it. The unit [Thal'kr] has performed admirably in several purges showing an innate understanding of tactics as well as remarkable fighting skill. He seems able to weave the Tapestry by instinct, a trait not transmitted to his gene-line unfortunately and use it as a crude imitation of our own inertia manipulations. Likewise the Choir of Chesed is satisfied by the unit [Aurelian] who was able to unite several disparate factions in the service of the Name.
Spoiling the mood is the discovery that the Silver Legion is creating its own Primarchs even if we think it's a case of convergent evolution rather than spying. Some of our patrols were forced to withdraw after an encounter with a black giant called "Prometheus" by his soldiers that was protecting heretical human communities. If you contact your colleagues urge them to haste their project as I fear we are in the middle of an arms race.
[On the Fae]
These strange creatures seem to have been crafted of the stuff of dreams and nightmares. While they appear native of the Collective Unconscious it is difficult to say if they are sentient there or if the act of bringing them into our world gives them sentience and free-will. The Shedim use humans as anchors to drag them into the flesh, feeding them with dreams and bursts of creativity. They seem to be divided in two groups: the first is often bestial and primitive, only able to act on the basic tropes of the dream that spawned them while others are intelligent and able to deviate from their nature or even change it.
The consensus among the Muses is they are simply dreams and illusions and thus tools.
…………………………………………………………….
The world has changed, perhaps beyond recognition.
Sometimes you wonder if what happened before this, before the war, was nothing more than a beautiful dream, a temporary respite between two apocalypses. Your wings are bloodied now, your hands stained in ichor while you dissect flesh and soul alike preparing weapons, unleashing destructions. You are not even sure you're better than these mavericks of the Silver Legion.
But work needs doing and better you than another, you suppose.
You are in front of the shard of power you've at last succeeded to create. Well success is a relative term considering you have built the container but are unable to provide the Essence needed for such weapons to be effective. Your team has mumbled on many options, some more palatable than the others. You know now you will be forced to insert the shard, or more likely the shards, in humans, a process you are not sure they can survive. Unfortunately, your orders are clear and most of your test subjects are volunteer's eager to die for the Host that defend them from the Shedim and other monstrosities issued from Caine's sin.
What energy source will you try to insert in your first Exaltation?
[] The energy of the world itself, the many elements that constitute the cosmos
[] The essence of the spirits to make them primal warriors in the image of the Sixth House
[] The energy of Fallen prisoners for their essence shall be given to those more deserving;
[] The power of Fate weaved by the Angels of the Stars to make them protectors of the Pattern
[] The essence of dreams to link them to rising legends and make them heroes of future myth
[] God's essence left into creation after the Fall, to magnify them with the power of the Lord of Hosts
[] Titanic essence taken from fallen Asuras and captured shards to turn your enemies blades against them
[] The materia prima of the Second World, the shadows weaved by the Reapers to kill what's eternal.
