The Rising of the Shield Heroine

I actually hadn't really considered Aisha as a possible party member. Now that I have... well, I don't think she's a good fit to the team I'm going to build. Taylor's team (whose name I still can't nail down) is going to be fairly serious (at least in public), and rather knight/medieval-chivalry focused. Aisha, as much as I love her, would be a poor fit for such a group. Definitely a friend, maybe even something like Allie's assistant, but I can't see her as chivalrous. Good? Yes. Noble? Ehh.
Hey, if she triggers as she normally did, she could totally be the Rogue/Thief of the group.

And all of a sudden I have the image of Russian smol boat with bear ears and tail, being the primary damage dealing person
...

and know I am thinkin the principal damage dealer being a girl with a Bear Oneie who somehow can bring skycrappers to dust with a punch and summon gigantic bears with weapons made of Bears and who is to much Kawaai for her own good.

thank YOU!!!!

you had to remind me of Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear, right? i never getting it away from my head again!

and that opening!

please @TaleSwapper tell me you will not write the mistress of the Kuma's

Wow. I never realized this field could be so broad... or drag so many people to so many different conclusions. (Paranoia? Bioshock? SAW? Two of those aren't video games, and Bioshock is underwater.)

No, this one's a bit more recent, and a bit more horror focused. If no one gets it in 24 hours, I might toss up the answer. Or I could give another hint, if you'd like?

.... Was talking about kancolle bogatyr turned into a bear demihuman....
...yeah, no. I don't even know what you're talking about @hakunoX , so don't worry.

ummm i am the ony one who knew he was taking about Persona 5? and probably about The Kamoshida castle of Persona 5? (though the Gangster is more closer to Coil personality, his actions relate more to Kamoshida) also, i wonder what would yo do with a fusion between Persona Worm and the Gamer.

also, tehre is this anime called "KUMA KUMA KUMA BEAR" (literally is translated as "bear bear bear bear" about a girl who is reincarnated into a fantasy world with her "Cheat" being a Bear onesie (a pijama) which she can summon... and who make her incredible strong , gfast, give her magic, able to create metals (who has form of a caricature Bear) able to summon Bears and a lot of Bear things... which are really cutesy and fun.

somehow, since i seen it, i can't take it off my mind! and the Opening (thats it, the song and aperture at the start of the series) is really addictive... and i can't take it off my mind!!!!!!!!!!!!

is a really annoying series for me, i like it, but i want it OFF

I really like this song, and have already listened to it multiple times. However, I think it would fit Bogatyr better than Taylor.
Taylor is a tank and Steel Commander is a song a about tanks.

Citadels are places of power for major organizations; as a rule, any activity you commit in a citadel will become known to the faction as a whole unless the utmost stealth is invoked.
Coil's lair would count as a citadel, right?

False: (This creature is a manifestation of the dungeon, not a living being. It cannot be tamed, captured, or negotiated with, and cannot persist outside of the dungeon.)
Does this mean that Taylor or other party members could 'tamed, captured, or negotiated' creatures that are not false?

Yup. As I said in the beginning- working with people is a skill. Taylor can't just use her abilities to cop out of dealing with others- and there are multiple reasons for that.
Unlike traditional RotSH, Taylor has a set number of shields she can unlock in a set time, and she still needs to master a shield before she gets its effect permanently. So just absorbing all the random stuff in her house she can might get her something useful, but likely would just clutter her inventory, especially since she hasn't found a good place to grind weak mobs. In short, Taylor's going to prioritize crafting shields and ones derived from magic/drops.

I'm curious if/how the Party System will allow synergy between a magical-crafter (Taylor) and a tech-crafter (Trainwreck).

Can a tech-crafter derive inspiration from a magical-crafter the same way tinkers can study other capes powers? Is Trainwreck's scrap specialty too narrow to gain insight from Taylor's arcane blacksmithing?

If Taylor absorbed some of Trainwreck's tinkertech, would that make it easier for the two of them to do collaborative crafting projects together? Maybe unlock [Crafting Assistant] or [Collaborative Crafting] as a skill where Taylor's assistance gives Trainwreck a circumstance bonus on his tinkering.

"It was Mom's. I'm not going to alter it with magic for a few paltry benefits." I bit out. "I'm going to get it fixed, then I'm going to start practicing again. And I'm never taking it into combat."
I still think Taylor should turned the flute into an artifact. It may have opened up other options to use in combat.
Of course, I also think she should engage her father in conversation about the flute before turning it into something that could double as a wand.
But I doubt anything more will come of the flute beyond a hobby.

I think that both would have a place in the story.

I'll be giving a full description of her later, but the form she's going to start out with is going to be closer to a Skyrim Hagraven than anything else. Getting a 'pretty Tengu' shape is not currently in the cards for her.
Wouldn't that mean the soul is that of a Raven Beast-man rather then a Demi-Human? Since Demi-Humans are 80% human in appearance, while the beast-men are 80% animal.

Hmm...

Would Overlap be a good theme song for Taylor, @Tale Swapper ?

Light, so bright that it can't be hidden, shatters the silence and revives in this world
The parched ground, quaking violently, contends with sparks, betting its life

Just once more will be enough, make a miracle happen
For the power to recover the pages of memories lost in the past

The believing heart penetrates the darkness, searching for the place where its soul rests
Its unblinking, sharp gaze gleams
The 2 hearts of light and shadow head toward the future reflected in the crystal
Now eyes brimming in red will fall into motion

I announce the end to the days of licking each other's wounds and quietly stand up
I'll always keep the promise I made with you on the night when we lit the tiny light

A hazy mirage projects an image of you
No matter what happens beyond where I go, I'm determined to never lose

The heart believes in miracles, and the goddess of victory who came to greet it will defeat everything, undaunted by the strong and powerful
The 2 hearts that continue to wander head toward an unfading world
Now overlapping eyes will shine

The moon melts into the setting sun
For the power to recover the pages of memories lost in the past

The faithful heart penetrates the darkness, searching for the place where its soul rests
Its unblinking, sharp gaze gleams
The 2 hearts of light and shadow head toward the future reflected in the crystal
Now eyes brimming in red will fall into motion
Eyes will overlap
