The Rising of the Shield Heroine

Honestly, the turning bakuda into a hero thing has a pretty good arc. Just challenge her to not just copy the workings of other capes powers to show she is better than them, but COUNTER them. Or, even better, have her build an uno reverse card bomb that undoes all the damage to life and property after a fight with some kind of temporal effect. there was a power like this in the miraculous ladybug series, where it just repairs and heals all of the damage done after a fight, effectively undoing hostage situations in their entirety.

She could also be encouraged by the idea of just instantly ending a fight with some sleep or stun bombs. Gang war? Indescriminate naptime lol.

For how hilariously lethal she can be I also have little doubt that if she really tried she could make a fool out of 99% of tinkers by building a manton-limited transmutation bomb that renders them suddenly wearing nothing but chocolate pudding.

Actually most capes could be neutralized with a manton limited clockblocker bomb, as they are suddenly trapped in their costume and impossible to rescue before the prt arrives.

A prankster hero bakuda would be a blast to read, honestly.

But i'm not the author here, do as you like.

That's basically what happens in this little gem
forums.sufficientvelocity.com

Mauling Snarks (Worm) (Complete)

A Worm AU where the Entities do things a little differently and Taylor's got an uncle that results in a different power set for her trigger event.

Trailblazers goes a somewhat different route of her not buying into Lung's rhetoric about fear equaling respect and ends up teaming up with Taylor to take him down and ends up being a semi-rogue who uses the ABB and her own rep to help keep other gangs out of the Bay.

One of the questions you should be asking yourselves is who Sophia blames most in this scenario. That'll help you figure a lot of this out~ (I'm spoiled, so don't ask me to confirm.)

Edit: This was in response to the earlier discussion about various things, including team members (So far as I'm aware), and the vague questions of where Sophia is, and what the fuck is she doing?

She's too shabby to go after PRT. Especially since Armsmaster was responsible for her containment. 'predators' go after the weak and undefended. She'll go after Taylor/Danny, then Grue. First though, she'll be after her 'pack'. So there will prolly be a Shadowstalker interrupt soon.

Quick point of order; how would Sophia know Emma's loose in the wind?

Food for thought.

No that is rule №2. Rule №1 is Always blame Cauldron.
I thought Rule No. 1 was 'It's a Simurgh plot?'
Other rules, in no particular order:
  • It will never get better, only worse
  • When in doubt, more bees/escalate
  • All Capes need therapy, and there are not therapists but Jessica Yamada
  • Hero was Cauldron's Conscience

Seriously, this fits almost like a glove.

Yes please. Anything you'd like to write in that setting I'll consume. There are never enough good Touhou fics, even though there are a lot of them
In truth, the fic in question would be a MGLN/MG quest, with the MC able to interact with the hidden magical communities across Japan. Gensokyo being one of the ones open to discovery.
...although, I do have a DxD fic I've been working on where interactions with Gensokyo become normal. Now that I think about it, that might be worth working on...
