[X] Your own style: Your own outfit doesn't bring anything new to your wardrobe except for a manifold increase in style. But you love it to bits and want to wear it forever, and you already have a reputation as "that genin who wears qipaos" so you could probably build off that.

I just can't see any other way we are ever investing in appearance.
Appearance is really really good if you want to do anything social.
Please don't make rewards too high. It makes things a bit...unhealthy? For example, TBG has a lot of great omakes without any explicit rewards.

Of course, I am not-omake-writer and you are QM here, so do as you deem fit, but...I dunno, it just cheapens the worth and impact of training and doing things IC in any quest I've seen so far.
It provides a good incentive to actually take the time to write.

Course a minimum of quality being needed for actual rewards is good.

And Omake writting does make the voters/writters get more invested in the quest.

It is very very hard to become powerfull enough to unbalance Naruto.

By the time Itachi and Kashi were Tenten's age they were both Jounin or higher and they were not the only ones. This generation is a bunch of slackers by comparison.

I don't know why ninja insist on only having one outfit.
Because the artists are lazy Well, for some of them they're literally wearing a uniform, so for them it makes sense. But for most of the ones we see I have no idea. (In Tenten's case here, she just loves pink and blue qipaos and most of her budget goes to buying more stabby things anyway).

Though, the vote is close enough where she'll probably end up getting both of the outfits.

[X] Sakura's Gray Dress: You really, really like this one, even if it's a step outside your usually wardrobe. But hey, maybe a promotion to Chunin is when you should take the chance to re-invent yourself.

She should really quickly add some more pockets. Without it just feels naked.

Well, I'd imagine that once someone has been training and fighting in an outfit for a while, they get used to how it feels, the weight, range of movement, and so on. Wearing something else could throw off their reflexes slightly, and once past the basics, that could potentially be the difference between life and death. (For normal ninjas, anyway. Main characters get an exception, and can even deal with their bodies shapeshifting with minimal to no training.)

I feel her pain.

Not that you were particularly concerned with that fact, it was only for the two days, and it let you...procure some more explosive tags without having to answer any awkward questions.
This conjures up hilarious images.

Sensing more persuasive reasoning will be needed you go for the sure thing. "Look, it has pockets!" You hold up your hand in the depths of one of the innumerable pockets.
Just wait till Tenten discovers cargo pants.

You gulp as you begin the arduous process of digging through the pile, looking for at least something you can salvage from this fiasco. Too short...too tight...not tight enough...not enough pockets...who designed this? ...too short...but why mesh though?
Presumably because it's the next best thing to light armor in the setting, or so it would appear.

At least half the characters we see on-screen wear mesh underneath their clothes, and it's not just fashionistas like Ino and Temari, or shockjocks like Anko. Naruto and Shikamaru both wear mesh under their clothes; so did Part 1 Gaara.
We see it on Jiraiya and on Hiruzen at his final fight with Orochimaru.

We even see it worn by people from Cloud.
The one common denominator is that people who are wearing it aren't usually wearing chuunin vests or heavier armor.
So they're basically making do with the bare minimum.

I suspect those not wearing visible mesh are making a sort of declaration as to their skill and/or toughness.
[ ] Ino's Pink Dress: It's okay, you guess, and it would really test your comfort zone. Plus, it'd probably get you closer to Ino if you picked her choice over Sakura's. You can even see yourself wearing it in public...once...at night when no one can see.
To be totally honest, I'm sorely tempted to pick this, just because of that phrase.
I would love to see her have to deal with it.
Slap seals all over it's embroidery and she won't even need pockets.

Hmm.
We might pry her out of qipaos after all.

There is something to be said for maintaining brand identity.
Plus, white totally complements the gold pupils she gets when she activates Panoptic Fusion Discipline in this AU.

The first outfit Tenten tried to make a horrifying abomination of pastel colors and clashing clothing choices. However the one that's actually being voted on is the result of her going back to her own style and hammering that. Which in fact gives the best bonus to her social rolls because she high-rolled like a motherfucker (not by much, since it's a 6 dice success vs. a 5 dice success for Sakura but still).
The pink dress picture is correct.
However, I used these two pictures for reference on the other two (just without the flak vests and ANBU gear):
Okay, the first picture is a little too busy to be quite Tenten's style.
The second pic, though, is spectacular. I mean, it's obviously supposed to be ANBU Ino, but the outfit is sufficiently minimal that I can see Tenten happily wearing it.
And that seven section staff is boss.

I can't remember if I voted yet, so...

Read the caption...it's whoever the artist's OC (actually it looks like it was an art trade with someone else to draw THEIR OC, anyway).

This is the artist's rendition of Ino:

It's easy to tell it's her because
a) bared midriff
b) overdone and gaudy
c) Her front hair lock

(seriously Ino's canon grown up design is awful)

She also needs to tighten that belt a notch or two, her pants are about to fall off.

That is in fact what she is holding up. Meanwhile, Ino and Sakura are trying not to vomit.

It wouldn't be Naruto if your bullshit magical abilities didn't in some way impact your eyes. :V

The first picture is a little busy yeah, but mostly that's from the vest and the giant cloth thing on the back of the sword. If you take off those it's not really any busier than her The Last character design. To be honest I love the cut on that qipao. Plus red and white just looks really well on her.
