Yes, Outsiders do dream invasions, amongst other things. So, are the things from beyond the Gates able to mess around with people's dreams? Because if so, going that route seems like a bad idea.
So he's going to probably think that we're some eldritch gribbly trying to fuck with him. Great.
Like I said. Wizards react poorly to feeling like they're being threatened. So he's going to probably think that we're some eldritch gribbly trying to fuck with him. Great.
[X] Help?: Cora Graves could go with someone who might provide help, such as Lillian. Perhaps they can be an interpreter...though they might also be a target or a factor that complicates the confrontation.
[X] Perchance to Dream: Dreams are where Cora Graves is strongest of all. Visit this strange but seemingly human guardian in their dreams and confront them strength against weakness. Prepare the way in the world of dreams.

Do you think that this being is going to be hostile if we try to just talk? If not, why go for this?[X] Perchance to Dream: Dreams are where Cora Graves is strongest of all. I'd prefer to be careful. They're not human, we don't know their strength or their motivations or really anything at all and that's why we're visiting them. So I'd prefer to keep as much advantage as we can.Do you think that this being is going to be hostile if we try to just talk? If not, why go for this?
You're presuming a wizard, someone whose entire magic practice is focused on conscious mastery of their mind, and deals with Outsiders who use psychic attacks...are weak there?I'd prefer to be careful. Also, I don't want us to have a third party there to maybe make things complicated - don't give the dice an excuse. XD
I feel like getting a wizard's input on this, and possibly changing the tone from "unknown being invades your dreams and starts demanding information about the gate to the Blind Eternities that you guard" to "a wizard introduces an unknown being to you, who warns you about yet another possible threat from the gate, and in return asks for information so they can protect themselves from extradimensional threats". Going for dream could easily lead to us fighting a potential ally.I'd prefer to be careful. It's our strength, but we can't actually use the strength unless we intend to strike first.
Hrrrrrrrh. Okay, yeah. I guess you make sense.
