The King is Dead, An Heir Is Born: Crusader Kings 3

If they have a religion you view as hostile, an option is to kidnap a ruler or their primary heir, convert them to your religion and then release them. Their realm should implode shortly thereafter.
We're already the same religion and dynasty sadly (which is another reason I don't want to go to war, they actually have decent knights from my dynasty)
you cant force convert landed rulers anymore, so you'll have to kidnap and convert the hier, then kill them
Getting a strong hook and then making the heir your ward can work for that as well at least.

So, is it fair to say that CK3 bucks the trend of Paradox games being lackluster and lacking in content upon release?

As a minor Spanish Muslim Emir, I didn't realize that I've had the King of France in my dungeons for 16 years until I accidentally clicked on the jail button.

Never showed up in my notifications.

Wait, you can make maps for CK3 mods that aren't perfectly square? Neat.

Bit the bullet, bought this, and played a few games, currently I am now a warlock king in Tibet.

I gotta say having the Sadistic trait feels OP when it comes to dealing with stress, since executions makes you lose a good amount of stress per a prisoner while also making hunting more effective. If you're a warmonger with a religion that allows human sacrifice, you like won't need to worry about stress or a lack of piety, because chances are that you're going to have a nice surplus of worthless prisoners that you can sacrifice when you need to. Not to mention it's free, unlike feasts and hunts.

CK 3 is a fun game. In my Irish game I converted to Islam and captured William the Conquered and his Heir and converted both of them into Islam and ally them. And I accidentally having an affair with the wife of King of France, Emperor of HRE, and King of Scotland

Here is a video of interest. It's about the various fantasy mods on the way. A bunch old favorites like After the End, Game of Thrones and Warhammer Geheimnisnach are being retooled for CK 3

So many cool new mods, and here I am, waiting for one to update that will let me give my dynasty colorful anime hair.

For some reason, in my current game, I'm getting alot of female courtiers with high martial and prowess. However, since I'm trying to form Outremer, which specifically requires you to be Catholic (can't be a heresy either) as a requirement, I can't make use of their skills. It's kinda frustrating honestly, since a good few of my knights are far worse compared to them.

Well, This is Eugenics Simulator 3. You can make use of those female courtiers to secure some better generals later.

I'm...not terrible at this? Managed to form the Kingdom of Wales. Sort of sad they didn't include the dynamic country names, as far as I can tell.

CK 3 is a relatively easy games. As a HOI IV player with 4216 hours 36 minutes and 47 seconds playing experience I still didn't mastered the naval battles. With CK 3, within the first two hours, I managed to form a Waldensian Lotharingian Kingdom as the House of Julichgau
