    The game in which I was RPing as her fizzled out before reaching its conclusion. But if it had continued, Tann would have taken her fleet from a Confederacy steadily being crushed by the industrial might of an increasingly fascistic Republic and returned to the Ascendancy to overrrun it with killbot armies as revenge for trying to throw her into Space Guantanamo.

    The result of an Ascendancy being conquered by CIS remnants would probably have been a hilarifying ancap nightmare, because it was the most hardcore Space Andrew Ryan corporates who were willing to join Tann on an expedition into the unknown regions to establish a mini-Confederacy away from the reach of the Republic.
