Well, yes, but I can't imagine why you'd choose to roll a 3k2 Law/Int for that instead of a 5k2 Shadowlands/Int. :p

On that note, @storybookknight rolling Sailing/Agility for Impromptu Net Making, spending a Void for 6k4 because this is kind of important.

So, Kintaro, Akimasa, and Rumina as the priorities, who else wants some?

(Admittedly, I can't tag Rumina until our preparations are done, but I can tag everyone still on the ground, it lasts for an hour after all)

If there are buffs leftover after giving them out to the people who need them most, Tamotsu could use one.

Sage is convenient, but at the moment I'm only rolling 3k2 and I'd prefer to conserve Void for a more difficult test than this one.

So, we're looking at...

Rumina, Akimasa, Nori, Kintaro, Tamotsu, and since I'm figuring that Hisateru will refuse, the last one goes to our Captain.

That means that just about everyone has a good chance of pulling this off!

Anyway, going to roll in advance for the spellcasting checks.

EDIT: Everyone succeeds, so everyone rolled for will get +3k0 on Intelligence checks for the next hour in game. Because as it so happens, having a buffbot Shugenja while we're doing shenanagans is almost cheating!

22 is enough to make a 'rice' harness.

So Takara will also go full out Lecture Time!

Do I need to call Raises or is the outcome based on how well I roll?
 
Let's see...

I'm thinking hauling the bags up is either Athletics/Strength or Athletics/Stamina, either way we've got Kenta, Akimasa, and Rumina up to haul the harness up on the wall and Nori, Tamotsu, Tendo, and Kintaro down below to load the harness, we send up one bag for everybody on our Squad, we get all our people over, then we look at getting down the other side and to the Seppun.

Sound like a plan?

Raises it is! Three, specifically, though I'm spending a Void Point to sweeten the deal.

Still pulled 26 though, which should be enough to provide some extra bonus dice to our group since "Preservation of Rice" isn't exactly a complicated topic, and it's not like I'm providing answers so much as a refresher course.

So I'm going to say that with a 26 and three raises, you start getting excited about the topic and expounding on things for your squad to remember that won't be on the test, meaning that you grant no additional bonuses.
 
Going to roll Ath/Stam and post for Rumina making the harness IC. May include speculation about the feasibility of dumping the other sand bags out so the next bunch to come through has to fill the bags back up in addition to all the problems we had to solve...

Doubt the Seppun would let us get away with that, though.

Pretty much. I'm currently trying to get a several-days-overdue update to Minor Clan Quest out, but I'll get something up IC when I get he chance. And yeah, Takara's definitely being helpful, she just got a bit too ambitious.

I initially wanted to find an actual copypasta, but they all required editing, or were inappropriate for the setting.

So I fell back to what I did.

I regret nothing.
 
I think I just Grabbed Takara and Rumina, who each had a bag of "rice" and ran them to the finish line.

Or at least this is my new headcanon, a Overly large crab with a mantis women on one shoulder and a scorpion on the other. Each holding a bag of rice over their heads. On Fire! (Flames of purity shenanigans for maximum hilarity)
