Okay, I've already made the drop check, so as I understand it it's an Athl./Agil. and a Lore/Intelligence roll (for the latter I snagged one of Takara's buffs). So 6k3 for the first, and... 6k2 for the Lore check. I believe that's correct (Takara's buff being a +3k0).

So I failed my drop earlier, now just Ath/Agi and Int.

So from the PCs, it looks like Rumina, Tamotsu, and Takara all managed to get 'fast' successes, and Tendo, Kenta, and Nori all got 'slow' successes. I'll roll for the NPCs now.

OK. So we have 4 people who definitely got rice: Rumina, Tamotsu, Takara, and Kintaro. Tendo, Kenta, Nori, Doru, and Hisateru all maybe got rice, it depends on how the other team did.

.... And, apparently they only got 3 successes on their first run at the question booth. So, since there were 12 bags of rice at the station, you guys manage to get 9, and their team gets 3. Pretty darn good! Feel free to write up your ICs, I'll have mine up in a bit after I cook dinner.

It wouldn't have mattered if the contest had been knocking things off a wall with tetsubos while carrying balls of fried rice in our mouths as we performed a draw lot play, Rumima still would have found a reason to complain that it made no sense and wasn't Crabby enough.

Since discussion has died down and there's a tie, for the sake of convenience / speed, I'll say we're sticking with Scorpion. I'll write that up once I get some time.
