"Thought I would just mention how funny I think it is that people are clinging onto this Anor Londo concept without seeming to realize that the splendor seen in game was an illusion and that all that was left was an empty, dark ruin of its former self"
Like, the whole point of Anor Londo was that it was an illusion of a God that wanted to give the appearance of everything going well while the world collapsed around him.
If we're going to try for a crapsack Dark Souls scenario, I at least want to imitate Izalith and go out with a bang.
The general character design and idea as we remodel it is what people mean. We are just using Dark Souls as a easy mental reference point and Fuck @ninjafish has gone Bloodborne. RED ALERT, RED ALERT THIS IS NOT A DRILL I REPEAT THIS IS NOT A DRILL. EVIDENCE OF MAD ELDRITCH BLOOD GOD HAS BEEN FOUND.

AN'WAH'HEI CONSIDERS YOUR REQUEST AND FINDS IT PLEASING!
As you are wont to do, you preside over the seasonal rites of the dead with no small pleasure. Were that all you were driven to do, you would be content. Alas, you are also driven by a faint spark of curiosity, which either meets it's end when satisfied, or brings about it's own end in satisfying it. Projecting a specific intent, you wander through what seems to be the long-forgotten ruin of stone structures. Your presence glides between old crumbling walls and homes, before stopping at an edifice that gives a sense of value. Within the building, you discover a very fine garment, with a shining green color that catches a stray ray of light almost as well as an obsidian edge. Hidden behind a small collapse, you can leave the find to it's hiding place for now, until you have some means of acquiring it.
You return, and give visions of gold, crystals, fine stone soft enough to shape. An'Wah'Hei, the King of your peoples, rouses from his private ponderings to look towards the mountains with a ghost of a smile.
--
You are pondering on the foreigner who appeared last year, considering how to approach. An'Wah'Ieh will go west, south around the mountains, and find a prosperous village by the sea. This village is a gem-like jewel about the neck of the land, and rich with goods and wealth. You, An'Wah'Hei, find Ieh to be good, and make plans to travel for several days.
You are caught, flat-footed, just past the crest of the southern hills, not three days later. A man with the gleam of discovery in his eye comes to you with a heavily laden herd-beast that acts at his beck and call. Sacks are laid across the animal's back, weighed down with trinkets, beads, and much salt. "Where do you go, Stranger?" you call, stepping before your entourage.
The stranger grins widely and pats the herd-beast to stop it. "I go to Kut, where you come from, Stranger. The Spirit Ari'See knows of your people, and bids we bring good tidings to them."
You laugh. "I am An'Wah'Hei, who rules Kut and the far village of Amatsae. Stranger, these gifts you bring are mine by right, but I ask for more. I wish to speak with this Ari'See, and your council. Bring me to this place you hail from."
The journey takes the rest of the week, and you arrive in a village square with much wealth and splendor to be had. Dyed hide in natural colors, salted foods, and grand constructions dot the landscape, and before you can move to cow the ruling council into obedient submission, you see a woman, nudity hidden only by scraps of nature and furs, aiding the workmen in raising new homes. You suck in a breath of surprise and wonder; about her head are great antlers, and she has a presence that you cannot deny. This Spirit Ari'See...
You all but demand she marry you, having dreams of the vitality and power the children of spirits may have, and though you are prepared to force the issue, the Spirit Ari'See titters in laughter and accepts. Yes... You see a grand future for An'Wah'Ieh, and his heirs.
Before you get your turn options, please buy one of each of the following:
Destruction:
[] Warrior
[] Archer
[] Skirmisher
If we want to spec to have type superiority over AN'WAH'HEI we should take Skirmisher, Performer and Wanderer.
Ari'see looks to be Performer, and not sure what else. We could also be friends and setup some things. We don't want to sleep this turn I think, one more turn and Faith 3 then we can sleep for Ashform.
E: Also I am much more interested in earth now since we have the robe of earth.
Before you get your turn options, please buy one of each of the following:
Destruction:
[] Warrior
Melee. Its a classic, it'd stay a classic, especially if we're a power of Earth. Strong armor, strong weapons go here.
[] Archer
Missile. Its certainly versatile, especially against airborne opponents, and Slay/Fire gives missile options a better chance to wipe them at range.
Couple with scrying and maybe we could do a horizon shot with lava globs later.
[] Skirmisher
Mobility. Scouts, and later cavalry and boats. This is...not very Earth much. Helps if you want Death to come and go unexpectedly though.
Peerage:
[] Majesty
The one of Power and Right of authority. Very volcanic!
[] Scoundrel
The one of trickery and manipulation.
[] Performer
The one of style and song. Of the people's memory.
Dominion:
[] Lord
Builder of Nations.
[] General
Maker of War and bringer of death.
[] Wanderer
The one without bonds, the Trader, Thief and Traveler.
[X] Plan Met Death Down At the Crossroads With A Fiddle
-[X] Archer
-[X] Performer
-[X] Wanderer
Hunh.
Our Gil done got hitched.
Okay.
Destruction:
Skirmisher- dragon fly-by razing attacks might be basic Dragon 101 tactics but it's a classic for a reason.
Peerage
Performer- I want Majesty but that sounds like a good way to get into a pissing match with the God-King. Sooo Performer it is.
Dominion
Lord-No I don't really get the difference between this and peerage but this I think is the option I want.

I just caught up looks like things are going good
Also we have a new spirt in the group, looks like we have the King, his Queen who is some kind of nature spirt and us the Death spirt who will probably be one hell of a Lorekeeper soon as an advisor. Seems like a good start to get things going to me. Though I wonder exactly what the new girl is like?
Hmm... I might be content with General, and I do enjoy powerful explosions as provided by Warrior, but also want to be exploding things from afar, so...
I need melee like I need divine nukes and with Performance we could become the bloody trickster god of our pantheon who is also the lord of the underworld in specific. So many roles for Death to play my friends.
