According to the map SO4 is a precursor ruin.
I thought the artifacts they looted were from SO10?

[ ][SCIENCE] SO 10. Home to that rarest of finds -- a set of Prothean ruins! -- SO 10 is an archaeologist's wet dream. Frankly, these finds are unpredictable; it could be anything from an innocuous time capsule to a weapons stash. However, whatever it is, it promises to be insanely valuable; the kind of discovery that shapes the galaxy. -12,500 credits.

Or did they do both?

[X] Accept her offer. Whether or not you can trust what she says, she's left you a lot of room. If you can reduce the number of potential combatants, and perhaps even avoid a fight entirely, you will.

Kinda what I jumped too as well.

Also I thought they looted a prothean ruin not a precursor ruin which was why we were so upset?

SO 4 was the local precursor civilization. SO 10 is on the other side of Hoc from the Lystheni, and we've got people there. That said, it doesn't matter that it wasn't Prothean - at this point pretty much any precursor civilization that the Reapers would have wiped out would be more advanced than we currently are, so all of them present invaluable research opportunities.

From SO4.
Non-Prothean precursor ruins.
No SO10 is the research outpost we are visiting when we are done with the Lystheni.

Yeah you're right.

I got the two really mixed up in my head...so the Prothean stuff is still there and we're just trying to get past its energetic security system...neatooo.

Kinda hope we get our mitts on one of those guns Javick has, those are nice, but yeah...all the precursor tech want now.

Edit
Shit at this rate I'm going to turn into a tech priest...

If we stab her in the front, we have to keep stabbing until she stops moving. That won't take long but it's a lot of stabbing to do, and it gives her a chance to stab us back. Or, claw at us with her fingernails, whatever.

If we don't stab her yet, we can wait until she turns around and stab her in the back, if necessary, or just not stab her at all if she turns out to be legit.

[x] Refuse her offer. You are not acceding to restrictions on your actions when going into your army's first ground invasion. She can surrender in person to the soldiers who find her, just like everybody else.

That's looking pretty conclusive, so I suppose the next question is what we do with her now (and for that matter what we do with the Lystheni as a whole).

Canon Omake: The Logistics Problem
So remember that conversation a while back about Virmire not having underway replenishment vessels? I sure do.

-----

"What do you mean we don't have underway replenishment ships." Toral could only stare.

The fleet logistics officers stared back. The leader looked at his compatriots before turning back to the Minister of Defense. "We mean that Virmire's navy does not have underway replenishment ships."

"I'm certain we had them." Toral distinctly remembered that there were two of them in the mothballs during the height of the siege. Ostensibly, there was one replenishment ship per fleet in the event that Virmire's navy participated in trans-relay pirate suppression missions, however they had really only seen use during exercises. They'd had a small role during the early years of the siege, but as the number of raids dropped they saw less and less use.

The fleet logistics officer shuffled in place. "Well yes, we did have underway replenishment ships... 17 years ago before the hulls were recycled to use as light cruisers."

While his face remain impassive K'sharr screamed internally. 17 YEARS?! How did the fleet sustain its offensives?! "And how exactly are we resuppling our ships during patrols?"

The blue idiot looked at her 'logistics' compatriots. "Ummm... they return to port?"

Toral's mental screaming increased a few decibels and maybe an octave or two. "Even during on-going offensives?"

"No, we have shuttles ferry supplies out." The fact the fleet logistics coordinator said this as if it was the more obvious thing in the galaxy solidified in Toral's mind just how screwed he was.

"No... just... no."

Some of the particulars are wrong, but that is roughly the conversation K'Sharr had upon assuming his position, yes. He spent a while yelling at Mira for letting it get that bad.

In her defense, she spent the whole of her time in his seat fighting thirty minutes from a fully-stocked shipyard with repair facilities, but that was cold comfort to a man who wanted to go on the offensive.

I like this snippet, in any event. Have a sidestory threadmark! :D

Any tips on anyone wanting to go but is a bit cash strapped? I've thought about going to a cheaper airport or country like Portugal and then using the railway to ship over to Rome or someplace.

Thoughts?

Also hope you had a spaghetti of a time!

...ill see myself out
Hm, well, my advice depends on a few things. My perspective is a uniquely American one, for instance, and a lot of my experience is particular to that. What nationality are you?
