Oh actually, before I go. I'm going to guess that Paradox of Choice/Ulthuan Quest and Rule the Waves with Lord-Admiral K are among the threads. Although Ulthuan Quest is perhaps less likely, given there's already one WHF CK2 quest on the list.

I will admit to being a little surprised that Going Full Kubo didn't make the 2014 list, since it's where the Write-in: Kill Yourself memes come from, that still live on today, even on places totally unrelated to SV/SB/QQ, like Royal Road, Akun, and /qst/.

Definitely agree that Rule the Waves with Lord-Admiral K might be on here, and I think Kantai Collection: The Greatest Generation and Advice and Trust are two possible contenders as well.
Sadly work made me miss the one I knew of earlier (BAHHSQ) and sleep will have me miss the rest of 2015's tonight as well. I get that spacing out the clues verses having them all at once is a bit of "six of one, half-dozen of another", but on a personal level it's a little annoying.

While we're listing threads that are likely on here, Fog on the Horizon feels like a strong contender to me. Three fairly infamous DM's collaborating on an Apreggio Quest right during the peak of the shipgirl craze? It was pretty popular while it lasted.

I can see the "floating blue boxes" part, but I don't know how it relates to "April Fool's."
I am not sure if it was in SB or SV, but during this year's April Fools every mention of Worm was replaced as Familiar of Zero, and Taylor Hebert was replaced to Louise la Valliere, it might be related to that.
