He's alive, Yu only beat the ever loving crap out of him. She could have killed him and claimed self defence, but the paperwork and Bribery Logan would need to do is a fair bit more then he can deal with, so being self aware opted to beat him up and not kill him.

Today was a New day, one not mired in situations beyond your control, or one that would leave you stuck in the TV hours before going to bed.

See someone with no power at all fight someone three times their size and five times their strength.

The Plaza was half a mile away and a normal hero would normally take about 10 to 15 minutes to fully lock down coordinate and neutralize the perp.
You'd get there in less then three minutes, nueteralize in 2 minutes and secure and resolve in 3 if you moved hard.
And you were...moving hard. Taking advantage of the fact you were skilled in persuit running and by being human naturally were good at endurance running, you moved fast.

And you saw the large grey man lumbering around trying to escape the blockade.
Now...time to plan the best course of action.
'Kay, he's carrying millions of tech, so its likely that he's being weighed down, meaning he'll try and avoid making turns and head through a straight line.'
A simple matter, he'll look for the most direct opening he can...
And in this city...you knew the layout...would be right here.
"GET OUT OF THE WAY!!" He shouted as you pulled out your batons and calmly waited.
Just like fighting a bull...just got to hit it right.

Jumped and kneed him in the face, your armored kneeguard cracking under the force as you flipped away, and then you rushed forward and hit him with your left baton and watched a tooth and blood fly out as he still reeled in pain and then you roundhouse kicked him in the jaw again, the same left side you hit.
In summery, his ears were ringing, he ccan't move his jaw and the pain feedback would effect his vision as a result.
People can't see well, while in pain...you knew that all to well.
Their knee's...
Only he wasn't a speedster, it was a strength mutant...details...
You hit the knee with force and heard it shatter as he howled in pain going to the ground.
He was still holding onto the tech, must be important.

You looked at the box, "This is evidence sir. If your going to be getting in the way of an investigation, please take it up with my superiors."
You then pulled out your pocket knife and cut the tape and straps off and nodded opening it.
"Synthetic Muscle weave and control chips for heavy power loaders...worth a pretty penny on the black market to the right buyers." You said before closing it. "We're keeping it in detention for 48 hours and then the company may receive its stolen property after filling out the correct forms."
The Security guards nodded and walked away.
"Alright we're done here, lets get back to the station. I have paperwork to file. "

You looked at the Wedge Heel fragment and the Bra in your Evidence Room at home and sighed as you looked at the Bottle of Perfume that was imported "Anna's Aroma, just like the thing."
It was going to be one of those days it seemed, where you ran the thousands upon thousands of possibilities in here... thinking on what they are, what they will be.
And how it will kick your ass because you've been going around in circles for weeks now. It was a bitter feeling you had to deal with.

"Shit…" You said. It was going to be another night of quiet and feeling of quiet despair.
You leaned back in your chair and thought about the missing person and the ambiguity of the attacker, damn this was gonna be difficult.
You needed a night off, you've been obsessing with it for weeks now, and without a solid lead you'd get into a hole.
"Hey Sarah, I'm taking the night off, I promise I'll get home at a reasonable hour." You said putting on a casual suit and tie to go clubbing in.
"Alright, I'm going to go to my Dad for a bit, turns out Mom's going on one of her mad gambling spree's and he needs someone to talk to." She said.

"Wait, that little shit lives with you?! Tell her to stop." She said feeling embarrassed. "And how the hell do you know I own it?"
"I know everyone in the Taris Preficture. I even know their quirks by heart." You said.

She didn't blush but the message was clearly given. "Anything else is intriguing to me? This game."

As said, the woman was dancing to a killer beat. "Didn't get into Hero School due to her gambling addiction leading her to embezzle other students for money, leading to a scandal.
You then smiled. "Nena Romanova, Quirk: Light machine Technomancy, she can only control the power and tech in small little pieces of Technology, like cellphones, watches and the occasional Radio." You then stopped "Works for Tokyo Metropolitan Police."
Sylia nodded. "Impressive, VERY impressive, your knowledge sounds like a Hero Database on legs."
"Yeah...but the real question is, what the Hell is the Knight Sabers, the most successful, corporate-backed "Heros" doing in a dive this?" You said.
"We have hobbies outside of our lives." She said.
"How much is Icon Inc paying you to spy on me?" You said.
"Enough...you've given Miss Alexa a hell of a Spook today. The Equipment wasn't going to be revealed to the public for a few months, she just wanted assurances that's all." She said.
You then pulled out the bra from your evidence locker, getting a surprised look from her. "You got these in stock, Yu won't shut up about them."
"Do you always carry women's underwear on you?" She said agasp by its appearance.
"Only on nights when I'm clubbing." You said.
"What would your wife think of you?" She said.
"She knows my habits, better than I do at least." You said getting up. "You know we can do a team up if you want, I've got plenty of time to make a schedule for one?"
"I actually like that...idea. I'll call soon...damn never expected you to so open to the idea?"She said.
"Its better to have friends that we can trust and like, then not have them at all." You said.

"Got you. Now to see how deep this rabbit hole goes." You said.
Three things were noted when you finished up.
One, resources needed to have a wedge heel with Titanium, such things were expensive, and needed money for it...corporations normally had such shit in abundance.
Two, The powerset of the attackers prevented the Vigilante from attacking properly with his powers, noting a uniquely organized effort to disorient him, and the wild growth of the areas situation.
Three, they wanted him alive for a reason, and given that they were the delivery apparatus...it left one more question.
What the hell does Icon Inc want with a man who can control plants?

"Yep, he even broke down the power sets of each of them, knew that we were here to spy on him after that robbery gave us an excuse to run around him, he hasn't seen the armor yet, we have at least that level of security there...but only just." Sylia said calmly.
"This is absolutely unacceptable! What the FUCK guy's we were supposed to test the waters of the situation to calm it, not give him the answers!!" You said.
"He only thinks what he knows, I assume he knows nothing about the Project, thank Kami for small miracles." Sylia said. "But for now I'd assume that only he knows...thats it."
"Oh...Oh thats just great...I'm gonna have to accelerate to Phase TWO at this rate...DAMNIT!! I'm never gonna get rid of the suspicion from Hero Society now...keep digging for his weaknesses...we will find more." You said.
"Are you sure thats a good idea, the man's not to be screwed with." Sylia said.
"I am well aware of the danger, but proceed with caution, he's already suspicious of our intentions, the last thing we need is to confirm them." You said.
