Yeah definitely don't want to do N2 - our luck so far has been good enough I'm confident we can take him conventionally as long as the Evas don't die immediately.

I'm honestly tempted to have Shinji rush it. We've got in good armor damage already and the Prog Katana can exploit that. On the other hand, hanging back means we're less likely to eat a bad roll before the pursuit team gets there to surround him.

couldn't we just have Rei and Shinji degrade the AT field further and then some other Super Robot jump in for a finisher

Probably doable as a writein but Shinji and Rei have to stall a bit for the pursuit team to catch up. It'd probably be best to wait and all nuke it on the same turn.

i'm just afraid that going long range or stalling would give it time to fix it AT field which would make us have to weaken it again

so we gonna pressure it to keep the momentum going
 
Zeruel's AT Field DC for Round 3 is 20 (14 after damage+13 after recovering 50%-10 after that Flare Arrow). While we should definitely hit it while it's at half strength and try to shred its armor some more, I don't know if using degrade will help us keep it at that level for Round 4 when we actually have super robot backup.

I can't do math but you get the idea.

It might work to create something of a hammer and Anvil using all four of the EVAs. As long as they can keep hammering on it, they can keep the DC down while the Divine Forces (The Rune Gods, Getter, and Mazin) can continue to degrade it physically.

Working on a plan for the current round + unit assignment. Opinions are welcome. No voting until the plan is confirmed to be valid, the plan gets a name and the plan is discussed. For ships, Macross is likely too big to fit Geofront, so it's pick 2 out of the following: Nahel Argama, Nadesico and/or Ptolemaios II. Out of those, we really should take the Ptolemaios II, since it is our strongest ship, offense-wise, since a Trans-AM usage makes it likely capable of damaging the Angel through its armor.
 
The plan seems valid, and although the Quarter is longer than most ships, it's not as big as a typical Macross-class ship. Also, keep in mind that given Lelouch is completely unfamiliar with the Geofront due to NERV's (read: Gendo) obsession with operational security, any plan he comes up with using Man of Miracles is going to be improvised and kludged together at best. It'll certainly help, but it won't be nearly as effective as anything he can come up with given adequate prep time and knowledge.
 
I'd pick the Nadesico over the Nahel Argama, primarily for bigger guns. We don't want to fire the PT cannon anywhere near anyone we like, but the basic Gravity Blast should be a bit more practical. Of course, the Macross Quarter has a melee attack, so that might be even better for this particular operation.

Eva strat looks good, though.

i was saying why the Cephiro isn't combine with other magic mech setting to expand on it since Rayearth is kinda a small setting and also add in more magic mech since only the 3 Rune god are 'magic' super robot

you know, other magical mecha setting like Escaflowne or Cross Ange or Mashin Hero Wataru or Knight and Magic or Break Blade or etc
 
Plus, the last time we saw anything from Knights and Magic in this quest, it was Ernie teaming up with Show from Dunbine as big damn heroes for one turn since their worlds were deleted by the Council.

Worked out a name for the plan and replaced Nahel Argama with the Macross Quarter since the latter can actually fit inside Geofront, and I consider it will do more good against the Angel than the other 2 ships we can send aside from the Ptolemaios II. Opinions on the plan are welcome. Also, do we keep Lelouch on the surface to make full use of Man of Miracle or do we consider Zeruel to be enough of a threat to accept a weaker Man of Miracle usage against a more important target?

Yeah this seems to be the sensible thing to do.

Besides the AT field shouldn't matter much if we can get it degraded a lot more this turn, without counting that since we already have the full loadout getting that DC down shouldn't matter much or some units outright don't care in the case of Kouji and Tetsuya.

Suppose that mazin would trigger the shield but it would break it automatically still bringing down the DC right?

Mostly asking since this is pretty much the 1st time we would be getting full use out of that.

Decided to swap the Shinkiro for Dragonar 3, since I'd rather have Man of Miracles be used in a place where it will be at it most effective. Let me know if you disagree with this change so I can rever it.

I blame myself being desensitized to SRW mechanics by now. This isn't normally something Angels do, but how many other super robot monsters of the week have found themselves subjected to cloning (and incipient Inverse Ninja Law nerfs).

How many hundreds of goddamn EI-15s did I fight just to clear SRW30? That game didn't even have Zonders in the plot, really.

Yeah, without counting that well Zeruel has a really easy core to hit, like if something can get trough their armor and manages to pierce it it is pretty easy to kill outside the cutting arms and eyes.

And units that are actually able to pierce that armor are not really that rare for our lineup.

I got us to use a lot of supers for those reasons.

Without counting that V and Alpha 1 kinda left me already used to angel shenanigans.

Like narratively just having the canon scenario from Eva, be the rebuilt movies or the og tv series kinda falls short when you have a SRW roster.

One sees this coming because otherwise everyone would just t-bag the angel.

Like on Alpha 1 it was understandable having Sachiel alone as you don't really have anything to pierce that AT field unless you farmed and invested money into weapons to get pass the AT field.

But after that?.

Israfel? The starting scenario is a funny one as you only get the Evas and 2 ships, but the trick is in the skill point, normal one is having Rei shooting it down, the cool and best path to get tho? you need to have Bright in the reinforce JR. ram that bastard and destroy it to get the +2 and doing it is easier said than done.

Bardiel we all know how that goes down as we meme hard on him fearing any universe he is put up with the Getter robo in sight.

Normally eva scenarios are used narratively by either not giving you the full force to fight it or by throwing another threat you need to take care off.

I will say you have pulled off this perfectly too, Sachiel you threw us one of our first encounters with the council and we rolled bad enough to get canon berserk event.

Also getting the 4 angels attacking at the same time was a fun time

Besides this is not out of left considering Ramiel also pulled this.

As I said the Angels alone kinda don't do much in a narrative of a SRW game unless our forcess are heavely crippled.

So this is a good way to keep the pace up.
 
i kinda wish we can steal those MP Eva later on, i really like their look

Nope this is OG TV series timeline.

I wouldn't be surprised if Wafer does use some elements from the rebuild stuff later down the road tho.
 
there are other stuff from Eva we can probably add in like maybe Jet Alone or some stuff from other Eva related project
