[X] [Construction] Temple of Hephaestus
[X] [Military] Try to explore some more. (Pick up to 2 options. Can double down on one option.)
-[X] The mountains to the east.
-[X] The northern forests.
[X] [Isidoros] You need a proper court. As it is, you need to do everything yourself and beside the day being hardly long enough to do so, it means you have no one to delegate tasks to that you are less suited for. Try to find some promising men to aid you.

[X] Plan "Fort Up"
-[X] [Construction] Palisade
-[X] [Military] Stay at home to defend Hyphyria in case of attack.

We are almost out of wood.
@Azel Would that give a malus on Palisade-building, or will the wood suffice if we start logging in spring?

Guys could we please finally build the fucking temple, to get our good god here, so that we aren't completly defenseless ?

Also could we please not enrage the woodfolk by building the logging camp after being told off from by them for felling their trees??

Reread the option, we are building it in an area that's not off-limits.

[X] Plan Order and Material
-[X] [Construction] Woodcutting Camps
-[X] [Military] Stay at home to defend Hyphyria in case of attack.

With woodcutting we'll have the material to build that palisade, better houses and maybe even a tiny temple in spring.
The court will help us work better, because we have pathetically few actions and seem to try doing everything ourselves.

Also... since we're dealing with different mythology here... @Azel, are we beyond Demeter's influence right now? If so, I'm so glad we didn't build a temple for her.
No way to really tell. You can just try to keep ignoring her and see what happens.
Ah, just read the new woodcutting option more thoroughly, guess that could work. A quibble @Azel , I thought the exploration action would obviously go before we we sent our loggers. That was the whole point of the thing, to establish if the forest was safe for the woodcutters.
The first scouts went into the area before the loggers, but they didn't find anything. The Woodfolk didn't feel the need to show themselves when you were merely walking through the area.

No. You will later have to invest Wealth to construct buildings, but the current options are simple stuff where materials are gathered as part of the construction process.

Maybe we're in the Black sea close to modern Ukraine, wasn't the kingdom of Colchide with the golden fleece on the oriental coast of the Black sea ?

[X] Plan "Gods and Kings"

Honestly, location doesn't matter yet. And when it does the QMs will probably give us a map with the relevant Greek cities on it.

given that we went west, not east, from Greece, i think thats unlikely.
Do you think we're in France or Britain, maybe?
based on the descriptions, i figured we were somewhere on the west coast of Hispania. not cold or wet enough to be britain.

The guessing game about your location is becoming pretty amusing.

Small reminder here that this is the Bronze Age, so locations and cultures are rather different from what you would commonly assume for "ancient" times.

For example, there are no Celts yet. They are still the Hallstatt culture, centered in southern Germany.

Oh yeah Mycenaean Greeks, so we could be in the Adriatic sea, or in Corsica, or Sardinia, or somewhere in southern France or Iberia, unless the expedition went even beyond the Pillars of Hercules (strait of Gibraltar).

wait....
An attempt was made to save the fleet by leaving the sea in favor of a wide river, the rowers working with renewed ferocity to escape the waves rolling over the decks of the galleys.

Among a set of hills, they finally made landfall the journey having come to an end. No one among them knew how the land they had reached was called.
motherfucker. We're on the site of rome! Thats the Tiber and the Seven Hills!

Mountains to the East would fit too (Appennines).

Main cultures in Italy in the Late Bronze Age should be the Terramare culture in the Po valley to the far North, the Nuragic peoples over the sea in Sardinia and various Appennine cultures closer at hand.

Edit: potentially we might get involved in the mess between Latini and Rutuli.

Note that in a couple generations we may have to face the Late Bronze Age collapse, including potential nasty Shardana raiders from the sea.

This of course if the fae or Demetra don't get us first.

Ah, we may have chosen wisely with worshipping Haephestus, because if we manage to remain on His good side, He might grace us with the help of this guy, who should be living in a cave nearby at the moment. Or well at least prevent him from burning us all down...

I really hope we got out of the Mediterranean entirely. The further from Greece and the asshat gods, the better.

@Goldfish
Sure about your civil action?

I would vote for you wether it's Logging or Palisade, but the Court option sounds a bit like it could give us more actions, which is immensly valuable right now.

As for the gods, they took part in destroying our last city, fuck those guys (and gals).
