If I'm going to be honest the fact Outlaws is another Star Wars game with yet another Human lead, is what really turned me off from that game. At least it's good to some things never change.
 
I find 80s hair cringe for my entire life and was ignored but the minute a game they want to hate on does it oh look suddenly now everyone else does too. :V :V :V

How convenient!

I genuinely don't get people because she is not bad looking, she just isn't a model, she is a above average looking woman, and even if she is ugly, that's okay, people are ugly and that should be true in fiction too, looks don't mean morality or how or interesting a character is.

But I guess every woman that isn't Sydney Sweeney is just a crime against nature, while the same motherfuckers look like a South Park character.

The point is she's not 'sexy' and that's been a something of a recent bugbear by the chuds to bemoan how 'woke' everything is. It's basically a nonsense criticism so they can feel justified in parading around absurd fanservice as having saved gaming. Mind you, Outlaws has other things worth criticizing like season passes, or wondering what works are going to be linked to this game.

Don't wanna get into this much here, however og SW protagonists have a consistent track record of being "charismatic and attractive", it's not supposed to be some "people look different so let's pick random statistically likely good-looking-ness level" roulette - although that's the mainline series and installments of that nature;
doesn't have to apply to some kinda gritty outskirts spin-off in the same fashion. And I'm entirely unfamiliar with this "Outlaws" thing, so can't comment further.

It's a culture war thing. The woke/feminist/wonderful person/PC/whatever side sometimes gets obsessed / carried away with "opposing unrealistic beauty standards" "the mail gaze" and all that while promoting "body positivity" so they'll sometimes uglify characters for that purpose - and then the ones opposing them get carried away and see any character they don't find 15/10 bomb as an example of this "agenda" even though only some subset of them are (and they hallucinate all the time as well).

However yeah don't got much more to say on this rn.

Yeah, I've been here before with Horizon (also having got into bouldering since Zero Dawn, I do have changes that I wish they'd make to Aloy's model, but that would be making her physique more this shape rather than AI pornstar).

Some might say "goodie 2 shoes" is also a fitting synonym, so the edit's not far off of course? well anyway lol
 
Also having played TF2 I am newly sad that Respawn's SW shooter couldn't happen. Ah well, at least I have more material for Archex's dying words to Finn.
 
Side by side comparison of a screenshot from this new SW game's and its main character vs. a character from Team America, with the point being that the former is weird-looking / ugly / etc.

Acc. to the other posters here it's shooped / edited / fished out of the trailer that doesn't look like that otherwise. Gonna check later at some point
