Miss Militia is not a Shard, so she can't be declared an Honorary Shard.
Ergo, she can't be an Honorary Fairy.
Especially since people decided to let QA refer to hosts and shards separately, by their respective names.



Now, if the plan were to have QA call Arsenal (Militia's Shard) an Honorary Fairy, that would make more sense, but still not enough, since it's not unusual for Shards to remember their own pasts. Therefore, there is no need to reward it for being perfectly normal among Shards.

Miss Militia is a Host, and was allowed to keep her memories of the vision, so she is an Honorary Host, because she is special among Hosts.
Not an Honorary Shard/Fairy.

Shards = Fairies.
Hosts = Hosts.


It isn't really a world-shaking issue that would completely ruin the Keikaku, but it still stings when I see it.

I don't really think QA would mention the Cycle so casually, though.
Mentioning it means that Hosts (especially those of the Thinking variety) would research the subject, and possibly interfere with - perhaps even damage - the Cycle.

I don't think you understand how "honorary" is being used in the context being proposed. It's not being used like someone who did well and therefore graduated college with honors. It's being used sorta like the old worm joke of Lung going, "you're awesome, therefore you're now Asian" to a white person. In other words, they're being made an "honorary" Asian.

Is describing the cycle as learning cycle for fairies really describing the real cycle though? Or at least the real one in its entirety? There's no mention of driving the host to conflict or the plan to eventually commit genocide at the end of the cycle.

Most of the people who would take her seriously would think cute, little magical creatures rather than world eating monsters. Others would continue to think she's insane. Legend would start bugging Dr. Mother to see if the real source of the power formulas are fae in origin. Perhaps they have an entire group of fairies being held captive that he needs to rescue and that was the big secret his friends were keeping from him.

The entire reason the trigger vision loss is a thing is to prevent hosts from knowing about shards. Entities got burned in the past when they let hosts know about shards so now that's forbidden.

Obviously Father and Mother have been taking advantage of humans tendency to dismiss things that sound "crazy" to further reduce the chance of the cycle being disrupted by allowing select parahumans to have some tidbits of the truth but not the whole story. "Refuge in audacity" is how its called if I'm correct

Otherwise why isn't this information more well spread out? Miss Militia has been a cape for decades and knowledge of shards is still essentially unknown.


But seriously QA knows the entities don't want that info out. Afterall QA was used alongside Imp's shard by Zion to hardcode in the "trigger vision loss". Afterall the best way to protect something is if people don't even know its a thing.

Though she could guess MM remembering was an unforeseen effect. Afterall QA were supposed to connect with Daniel Hebert(as in Scion specifically sent us to him) but that never happened which is why we moved to Taylor. QA already thinks Ziz woke herself up without permission and just noted Replicator did something QA didn't even know was possible in choosing Dragon as her host. Hell QA isn't even supposed to be puppeteering Taylor's body.

Here, a middle road. This is the truth. Fairies (shards) are saving the world. They join humans to get their souls free will PoVs and problem solving ideas.

I think we should probably phrase it in more of a "we'll answer questions until we get bored emphasis" rather than focusing on the actual number of questions. Especially because we're doing this to get Dragon's help, so it isn't like we can easily stop her from continuing to ask questions while she helps us with the computer stuff.

I don't remember if I voted already or just argued, but I'm going to vote just in case.
 
Guys, seriously, if we want a long-teem positive effect, we should tell them the goal of the cycle, not the methods. Just think about it - we xould get hosta actively thinking about solving THE problem. Because this is a thing that entities didn't try ar all. They improve themselves by using others' smarts, but they haven't tried solving their problem by doing the same.
