[ ] You do want Host to wake up sometimes....you can prepare her for when she does. Start getting her acclimated to your power while she dreams. Gradually increase how much she is aware of around her while she dreams to simulate what life will be like if she wakes. That way she's less likely to break if she does wake up! After all, you can't save her if she gets control and then can't defend herself, and you do want to learn from her!
-[ ] In fact....you can start analyzing her dreams as she experiments with your power in them. Maybe guide her dreams so that she's placed in situations where she has to use your power. It's not the same as real-world testing, but data is data and maybe she'll give you some good ideas!

Indeed. We are a very squeamish species. Just move a body part of two a few inches off where it's supposed to be and suddenly you're a freak.

Also, now imagining what off-base conclusions we could get from seeing Triumph and Battery. Possibly Aegis or Gallant too.

The Wards is a subversive program that takes in innocent little shards, butchers them, and stitches them together for a new parahuman.

The weakest shards and Hosts are culled, then mashed together in the hopes of making something better.

Unrelated: conclude that the Protectorate is a very cleverly named protection racket. "That's a nice family you've got there. Be a shame if something were to happen to them...."

And ironically, Armsmaster said pretty much exactly this. Join the Protectorate, or bad things will happen to your family.

Clearly this is plausible deniability.

How ironic that "Me and the other 21 voices in my head" currently has the PRT trying to pressure Taylor into the wards. Right after they accidentally leaked her identity when she didn't join the wards.

It's an interesting quest, but I do feel like the PRT/Protectorate is unnecessarily grabbing the Aggressive/idiot ball right now. Even "Fucking Coil" isn't very good justification for them being this dumb.

I'm trying to help encourage people to let us either move to Canada/join the guild or tell the PRT that we're going to ask the nice voices in our head for help.

I didn't mean to derail my own quest, so I suggest we drop it or take this convo there before mods show up. Sorry :oops:

Naw...ask other shards for a memory dump so you can walk Host through them and vice versa.

Thats how Shards socialize! Humans exchange memories too, but they use such limited mediums and encodings that cause data loss.

You should just help them share the experience of being each other! Properly sorted experience packages of course, you don't want to leave a mess like Host's memory.

While you're at it you should reorganize the filing system in here. Its a mess.

I don't suppose that we could find out that Antenna are 'commonly' used to express emotions in very simple ways, could we? Because an Emotionless QA with incredibly expressive fluffy antenna would be hilarious.

Or, at least, I think so...

This is another person that is acting like the fairy queen and actually has powers that can place her at the top of the food-chain and is shown to be able to interact with powers. Remember that the fairy queen was only bird-caged because she wanted to. In our situation their is literally nothing people can do to Taylor since she literally controls reality around her and manipulation simply does not work.

Those are supposed to be fluffy moth antennae, right? Thought that was just the typical crazy anime hair doing its thing, but now that you mention it...

Because that could be quite nice looking :D
