Slivers Adrift in Infinity [MTG/RWBY]

Think there is something up with that vote tally since Plan Plan Promising Research, Interrogating a General, and Practical Roles should be winning by one vote.

It actually is, if you go through and count properly, it's just that it's votes are split into three different places - "Plan Promising Research, Interrogating a General, and Practical Roles", "Plan Plan Promising Research, Interrogating a General, and Practical Roles", and "korkator", and the vote bot isn't smart enough to make those all point at the same place.

@Angle How good are our current hive defenses against Grimm, humans and hunters?

Fairly decent against Grimm and hunters, assuming they actually try and enter your hive to hunt you down. Humans with big guns and a willingness to resort to saturation bombing are a whole nother issue, but you don't have a very good understanding of such things, so you can't really predict how you'll stand up to that.

On another note, sorry for not updating - I got distracted working on Agora and completely forgot. :/

@Angle Can we ask around about such things to come up with defenses against those?

Realistically, we might dig deep tunnels just to get extra space. Keep ourselves below surface so as to not upset people and delicious wildlife. And also to provide extra defense for tiny slivers.

Would it help avoid raising eyebrows if we point out that we just had a fleet of ships threaten us while pointing their guns at us and our hive literally just a few minutes/days ago?

Eh, maybe. It still looks like a move aimed expressly at countering human weapons, which is something that is going to make the humans uncomfortable no matter what.

In other news, I've been busy today, so the update is gonna get pushed back again. I'll try and get it out tomorrow, though.

So if any of our hives ever gets attacked by hostile humans with heavy weapons would it remove the unfortableness since we would have a legit reason to have said defenses? Also how likely is the idea of building hives next to villages outside cities for protection in exchange for payment?

Eh, maybe? And you'll get an answer to the question of places to build hives when I finish this next update.

...and it looks like I might push this back again. Sorry guys, but christmas time is really busy.

I fail to see how he could have missed the airships in his airspace.

The ship aren't the issue,it's the fact that Ironwood threatened us at literal gunpoint just because he thought that we may be working with his enemy when he didn't even get proof and was just accusing us which was most likely partly attribitued to our monstrous appearance. That was an extremely and blatant and unecessarily hostile action.

Questioning us at gunpoint aside. Bringing this much firepower on such short notice is a remarkably dumb move in Remnant. If people see armies they start wondering what could be out there that warrants their presence, and that collective unease attracts the Grimm en mass.

Still busy with stuff and trying to write conversation, but this is NOT dead. It will return.

Question! Can we unbond the land Ospin uses as a show of good faith? It's not like we can't find other lands, and if we have to only use it with his permission, it might be best to just... not steal his land in the first place.

Pretty sure Ozpin doesn't have any problem with Drei. It's pretty much Ironwood jumping the gun.

He said bonding it was alright.
Right. But also not to use it. So what's the point?
He's clearly possessive about it. It's like finding out that one of your not-quite-friend friends has crashed in your pad and is staying. Even if you say he can crash there for a while as long as he doesn't wreck the place... there's still tension that can be resolved by him moving out, and which builds as long as you're forced to share the space.

Think you are making a bigger deal about it than need be. Especially when Drei admitted that she didn't know other people on this plane were capable or even knew how to use mana. After we explained he pretty much said 'alright, but please don't draw mana from there because I am using it'.
