???? Omake: The Highlander
The Highlander

(Unknown POV)

You remembered waking in this world bathed in blood and fire. The final strike from the blade removing your head long forgotten.

You cried, wailing in pain as you were born. There were only two people with you, your mother and father. Their smiles as they looked at you was something that you always treasured, even as you grew older.

You grew up on a farm, somewhere far away from civilization and the troubles that it brought. You lived your days working the land, spending time with your family, and wandering the fields of your home.

It was blissful, peaceful, something you never had in your last life.

For a while, even as the memories came into his mind again, melding with his new memories like a welder to metal, he thought he could live like this. Abandon his duty and live life peacefully like his parents.

It was a fools dream, because his second birth, like the one in his last life, was filled with blood and tears.

The ninja came quickly in the night, demanding food and other supplies. Your father told them they had little to spare.

Than steel was drawn, and without thinking, you lept forward in front of your father, feeling the cold steel enter your chest.

The lightning struck you, and you felt the fire burn your skin and clothes.

The power was back… your curse had followed you through death itself, to bind you to your mortal coil.

The ninja died by your hands that night, the stickle taking their heads like the reaper himself coming to collect.

Your parents, fearful and afraid at what they saw, banished from your home, taking your cursed spirit with you.

Three hundred years had passed since that day, and you still never went back.

You had hoped that the ninja would be able to end your life when they came for revenge, but they never did.

You killed them all after five generations, right before the end of the Warring States Era, as the historians now called.

Now you wandered on the road of life, waiting for someone to take your head, and finally, end your suffering.

But looking at the wind, you saw the caravan, and all the little children tied up in the cart.

In your last life, you saved the world and refused to save this one because it couldn't be saved.

But maybe these little children can save it, in their own little way.

Or maybe you were just going soft in your old age, and were sick of children being hurt.

AN: Enjoy.

Hold the goddamn phone.

Is this a multicross?

Wait never mind it's an omake, carry on

No.
You're the one who made the omake about a seemingly immortal person killing people with a sickle. Take responsibility. :V

Also, it was misspelled as 'stickle' in the Omake. Just noticed it.
I don't have to take responsibility for my actions, your not one writing this quest... Hell, no one ever asks me for an omake idea from the Rolz Room to boost up your rolls, so I come up with them myself.

The wall of shame may need to get added to anyway...

Tell ya what, you want him to be canon? for him to show up in the story as a character?

Roll the dice in the dice room and see what happens.

I'll be waiting.

[x]Option B: Free the Beast: "Release restraint level 3, 2, 1. Beast, Aka, your mission is the subduing of enemy combatants and rescuing the academy class and friendly ninja, while making our escape. Time is of the utmost essence. If we reach our kidnapper's destination, the mission is a failure. Good luck and try to stay alive." With those words, you were thrust away into your subconscious. (Children's crusade Path: Escaping the Mind Begins.)

Because I think it's the most likely to succeed.

Edit: Don't mind me, I'm just blind.

Ehhh, that'd fuck with the quest too much haha.

Think that'd be more interesting as a quest/story on its own where someone gets inserted/reincarnated as Hidan at some point in history, or something along those lines.

I was just saying that you could write that omake... for bonuses of course.;)

Children’s Crusade Brotherhood: Rallying the Troops
Children's Crusade Brotherhood: Rallying the Troops

You awoke to see the morning sun cracking through, and felt the bingo book that was discarded laying on top of you. Almost immediately you rolled over on top of the orange book and rolled back over, the book now safely under your tiny body.

It seems the drugs and whatever was keeping your friends asleep was wearing off, as Orochimaru, Ren, Sakumo, and Eien were now sitting up in the wagon, not making a sound. Yuri, Eien's puppy, was curled up in a ball on Eien's lap, watching the front

You did the same, causing the three boys to look at you. Once again, they did not make a sound, however, their faces looked relieved.

You closed your eyes and pushed your chakra into their ears. "What's going on?" You asked, your voice telepathically asking them.

Sakumo was the first to talk, however this time, he did the same thing as you did, casting your mothers Jutsu. "Can't talk, seals on our tounges preventing us."

"Where are we?" You asked.

"Unknown, the wagon has been covered the entire time, and every time I look out the back, a nin is waiting to try and stab my eye out. They don't want us to find out where we are."

Well it's a good thing he knew how to use your mother's jutsu, otherwise, things might have gotten hairy with not being able to know about that information. "Status on everyone else?"

"Yoshi, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Ashai, and Minako are still unconscious, and there on this cart." He turned to the right, making you move to see their still unconscious bodies closest to the front. Tsunade herself was hogtied, with ninja wire. "They also have seals on their tounges preventing them from talking or making a sound." Sakumo shook his head. "There is a second cart behind us, full of corpses, many of them academy students they took but died when the missing-nin were attacked by Kumo Raiders who had heard of our kidnapping. We're the only ones still alive." He stated.

Dammit, so much for more help. "Do we have any equipment that would be useful in aiding in an escape attempt?"

"The White Chakra Saber is hidden in the second cart, with the corpses, when I feared that it might be discovered. However, I have a shuriken in my mouth that can be of some use to us." His ninja mask was still on, so of course, he had something hidden in his mouth. "And there is a kunai in the sole of my boot." He wiggled his left boot.

"What about everyone else?" You asked.

"Yuri and Eien know the tunneling jutsu of their clan, but he doesn't have the chakra to pull that off right now with his chakra slowly coming back… but Yuri is also the only one who can look out the wagon without getting stabbed at." Sakumo replied.

He looked at Orochimaru. "He's got the academy three jutsu mastered, and enough chakra to use them all in quick succession before becoming tired, but considering we don't have many jutsu in our arsenal, that's a godsend."

You looked at Ren, who's eyes were now a blood red. "Ren now has his Sharingan if you haven't noticed." Sakumo stated.

"How come he hasn't turned it off?" You asked.

There was a pause before Sakumo said. "He dosesn't know how to turn them off."

Well, that was going to be a bad thing if you were all going to escape. Having the Sharingan active was going to make him really noticeable. But it could also help you, considering that the eyes could cast genjutsu, along with other neat tricks.

"Were you planning an escape before I woke up?" You asked.

"Yes, but my plan was to find the nearest Konoha or Whirlpool outpost and send a report on where we are going to the Hokage so that a rescue team could be mounted, and we could be saved." Sakumo replied.

"Than how come you haven't done it?" you asked.

"I can't leave you all behind to die." Sakumo replied.

That was very noble of him… however, a rescue party of Jounin would be far more useful than just Sakumo at this moment. But then again, he might not have been able to get away from them and would have been killed in the attempt.

"Do you have another backup plan?" You asked.

"No… But all I know is that we have been force-fed food and water by the man that is following us." Sakumo replied. "We could try to take him out when he comes in and feeds us, but we're still bound. We need to lose the bindings before we can do anything."

"We could confuse them into thinking it's Kumo or iwa nin." you bounced the idea off. "They might still be on edge from the raiders attacking them earlier?"

"True, but if we're not in territory that they could consider hostile, we could be killed." Sakumo said.

Ren's eyes then went to the rest of your comrades. You understood what he meant. "Ren, we are not leaving anyone else behind… I promise."

"He's talking about the bodies," Sakumo said. "The bodies are still valuable. He wants to destroy them as we escape."

"That's going to be difficult Ren." You spoke in his mind. "We need to worry about our own survival over the secrets of the village right now."

"We just need to plan," Sakumo replied. "What do you think we should do Ayako?"

"Why are you asking me? You're the ninja?" You replied.

"Don't lie to me," Sakumo said. "You were awake before any of us, but you were within you were meditating the entire time when I woke up. You saw things that I did not and still waited. You must have come up with something."

"He's not wrong." Aka said quietly.

"I mean, yeah… but we need…"

What do you do?:

[]Remove your bonds: Sakumo's Shuriken can cut your bonds, and you can plan from there.

[]Cast a Genjutsu over everyone: It's a longshot, but if you can cast a convincing Genjutsu over everyone, it can look like everyone escaped. With Ren's help, of course, you can make it a reality. Or as close as you could get being academy students.

[]Psycological warfare: Aka has a plan. Turn the nin on each other by being their paranoid consciousness. Though she says that this plan has a drawback in that only you and Sakumo could be the conscious, and that the nin would suspect genjutsu.

If you remove the Bonds, what do you do:

[]Wait for the rest of your friends to wake up: You need them all for any sort of plan of escape to work.

[]REVOLT: They do not know that you have weapons… use that lack of knowledge to your advantage.

[]Fake a mass suicide: With that kunai, cast a genjutsu that shows that you all committed suicide. Sure it will put you in the corpse cart, but the White Chakra Saber is there… and who would suspect corpses getting up and walking away after dying?

[]Nightfall: You will wait till night to make your move, and bravely run away, carrying your friends. Sure you may lose the White Chakra Saber, but your lives are more important right now.

AN: Enjoy.

What kind of monster offers a person a roll and then rolls it for them?
Well maybe I was trolling around... Maybe I was rolling for something else entirely that would help you:V

Or perhaps, it was a bonus for you, that I'm granting to you, and all you need is a 21 or higher on your own dice roll ;)

Could someone get a screenshot for the hall of shame please?

[X]Psycological warfare: Aka has a plan. Turn the nin on each other by being their paranoid consciousness. Though she says that this plan has a drawback in that only you and Sakumo could be the conscious, and that the nin would suspect genjutsu.

Edit: It needs to be very minimal on the genjutsu. Very minimal on the anything. Just enough to make people make the wrong assumptions, start a comedy of errors, and then try to survive the aftermath.

Its not a good plan, but seriously... just look at the options. They all suck. Which is perfectly realistic considering the fact that we are all academy students and these are Missing-nin who managed to not die immediately after going AWOL. These guys would have to suck pretty damn bad themselves to be bested by a bunch of children when said children start out unconscious, bound, and drugged. When the initial plan was made by Madara, god in mortal form.

I mean, we can get lucky, but you can't count on luck. It should take an almost comedic amount of luck for us to pull it off.

I would say that we shouldn't actually count on our being all that is left. These guys are practicing information quarantine and practicing it hard. If I were them I'd be making sure we have the wrong number of allies written down when we make a plan. And, of course, discourage us from doing anything.

I can't bet on that, though, since its equally likely that its true. I just credit Madara with being competent enough to make sure that any winnowing process actually serves a purpose.
