I would've preferred Scatty and Cu meeting up, but any trainwreck is a good trainwreck.

Update 2
[X] They're in silver and red armour, and their helmet has horns. We can't figure out anything else.
[X] Saber/Arturia

The phone rings for a second, before someone picks it up.

"Yes, Emiya-kun?"

Shirou stopped. That was not Saber.

"Where is Saber, Rin?"

"We're at the cinema." The Tohsaka girl replied. "Saber went to buy some snacks. I told her to wait until everyone else ordered, so that she doesn't make everyone else miss out when she orders everything."

"Saber mentioned that she would be free today." Shirou noted, frowning.

"My fault." Tohsaka replied. "The cinema is showing Monty Python movies. When I saw that Monty Python and the Holy Grail was amongst them, I couldn't resist."

"...You did tell Saber what that movie was about, right?" Shirou asked.

"I thought she'd prefer the surprise."

There was no way that was going to end well. It was fortunate, then, that Saber was the one who had a clear schedule.

"I'm afraid I'm going to need to borrow Saber for a bit." Shirou said. "My apologies, but another Heroic Spirit has manifested."

Rin was silent for a minute. "Has the Tainted Od Matrix activated?"

"English, please."

Rin sighed. "Right, sorry, I forgot. You're a third-rate Magus."

"Please stop insulting third-rate Magi, Rin."

That got a small chuckle out of the Tohsaka girl. "Alright. Anyone, to speak your language: Are they still child-like, or have they tapped into the magical energy that Angra Mainyu left in them?"

"Well, I'm pretty sure that the Einzberns would have told me if they were rampaging." Shirou noticed. "So even if they aren't as obvious as Tamamo or Iskander, I'm sure I would know if they had."

Rin made a 'Hmm' noise, before replying. "I'll try and drag Saber away from the food and tell her this. Where do you want to meet her?"

"On the bridge." Shirou replied. "If they haven't begun rampaging yet, then there's no need to go right to the park."

"I'll send you a text when Saber gets going." Rin replied.

Shirou was silent. He could imagine Rin shuffling uncomfortably.

"...Alright, I'll get Saber to text you." She replied, before muttering something under her breath. "Stupid overcomplicated piece of trash."

"That would be appreciated." Shirou replied. "Are you coming over for dinner tonight?"

"Sorry, I have plans." Rin replied. "Sakura invited me and Ayako over, to see if her cooking is getting any better. I don't know why Ayako is coming, but I blame Rider."

"See you later, then." Shirou replied.

"Bye."

There was silence for another few seconds.

"The red button, Tohsaka."

"I knew that." Replied Rin, before hanging up.

Pocketing his cell phone, Shirou set off for the bridge.

~~~~~
Saber really wanted to see that movie, it would seem. She was certainly in a rush.
"Was that really necessary, Saber?"
"We must hurry, Shirou." The King of Knights replied, chewing on some popcorn.
"But using Strike Air like that..."
"I couldn't run across the lake fast enough." Saber justified. "And it's not like there's anyone in Fuyuki who doesn't know about us, at this point."
Shirou shrugged. "Alright, I guess."
"So, who is the new Heroic Spirit?" Arturia asked.
"Dunno." Shirou replied. "I guess we'll see when we get there."
"...I feel like we should know more about who we are going to see." Saber noted. 'Going in blind always goes wrong. Remember what happened with Boudica?"
"...Let's not talk about that." Shirou said.
"Agreed." Saber replied. "To the park, then."
~~~~~
The Einzbern Homunculus were maintaining their post, standing around the park, keeping people out. Not that too many people went there anymore, anyway. After the third rampaging Heroic Spirit, people decided it was safer to stay away.

Still, some people did come on occasions, and the Einzberns announcing that they had developed an alarm system that activates when a Servant is summoned made the place a bit safer. Even if it did activate that one time without a summoning, it hadn't missed any manifestation since it was implemented, and a false-positive was better then a failure.

"Sella." Shirou called. Illya's maid turned to Shirou, doing her best to hide her dislike for him.

"What do you want, Emiya?" She asked.

"Has anyone worked out anything about the new Heroic Spirit?" Shirou asked.

Sella shook her head. "No. Even as a child, they doesn't seem to want to take off their armour, and we haven't been able to work out anything about them from it."

Shirou nodded. "Thanks anyway." He said.

"Just get in there, Emiya."

Shirou did so, walking into the park, Saber a few steps behind him.

It didn't take them too long to find the Heroic Spirit in question. They were a small thing, standing in the clearing, her back facing Shirou and his Servant.

Saber frowned. "Why do they look familiar..." She muttered.

The figure apparently heard Saber, and turned around at the sound of her voice.

Whoever was behind the armour, they spent less then a second looking at Shirou, before they began staring at Saber.

After a second, their helm split in half, and fell away.

Beneath it was a familiar face. A younger Saber, and a less smug Nero.

"Fa... Father?" The girl gasped.

"Mordred." Whispered Saber.

The young girl- Mordred, according to Saber- looked for another second in shock, before her face twisted with hatred.

A sword manifested in her hand, and Prana began to flare around her.

It wasn't ordinary Prana, either. Even just sensing it, Shirou could tell it was tainted. Angra Mainyu's gift was beginning to take effect, it would seem.
And it did much more then the usual boost in Prana and change of age...
Saber stepped forward. "Stand back, Shirou." She said, her armour manifesting around her.

Acting on instinct, Shirou...

[X] Listened to Saber. She could deal with this.
-[X] Ask her to try and resolve things peacefully.
-[X] Wish her good luck, for when things went violent.
-[X] Trace a bow.

[X] Rushed to the girl.
-[X] Give her a hug, to try and cool her down.
-[X] Try and calm her with words.

[X] Ask Saber to leave. Her presence had Mordred off, so maybe her leaving would calm her down?

The first step on the path to acquiring angry puppy huggles is to not get bit.

Immediate stealth huggle won't work on a fully armored death machine.

Angra is being a dick so huggles via diplomacy seems unlikely to work.

Telling gender confused horribad at being human dadmom to go away will only exacerbate problems when the super powered puppy with abandonment issues goes tearing off after Saber.

Telling Saber to not fight at full strength or projecting weapons just seems like a suicidally bad idea against the person who killed her.

In short, ignore her like any other child throwing a tantrum and eventually she'll tire herself out against flower shield, allowing for huggles!

Just, you know. Shirou might actually die if she hits hard enough.

I just want to give her a hug.

Good old Bluebeard is a professional and an expert. There are tons of times to ignore his words (anything on religion, recognizing the woman you love, and magic are right out), but there are a handful of times he knows what he's talking about. Like how to make dying people into instruments and how to kidnap children. I mean, sure it didn't work quite as well for his summoner, but we got this.
