I'm not sure what you mean by 'a mess'? We had the summer event that they're probably putting in, well, summer, switched out with the nearest non-serious event, and we don't have 3.5, which I'd bet they're placing with whenever they release the AXZ plot like 4.5 had with XV. Not really a mess.
On an unrelated note, I just realised that Edgebikki might not be as safe as everyone thinks after the events of ALTPTC. See, when the event initially aired in JP it was just repeating the methods used in canon for Relic cancer. But AXZ's ending gave getting beamed by Shenshoujing additional significance. Edgeverse Miku only got reinvoled after everything went down, so that makes Edgebikki the only purified vessel known. She's lucky the lack of Lunar and Frontier incidents means that the Curse of Balal is still firmly in place.
(Admittedly my first thoughts when I realised this was "Bikki Shem-Ha!")

That's a good point, I never thought about that being a possibility due to how it ended. Maybe that's why that world has never been revisited in XDU?
the only peace of mind one can have is that maybe the verse is just different enough that the other seasons don't happen.

I'm constantly delighted by how committed they are to giving each singer and group its own style and genre.
so I read a really well done fanfiction earlier that was basically "Final Charge of Yukimura Sanada" from games like "Samurai Warriors: Sanada Spirit", but replace Yukimura with Hibiki (and throw in Tsubasa, Chris, and Genjuro on the side of Tokugawa for more feels), and it got me thinking.
What other crossovers would we like to see XDU do in the future?

I mean, while the basic Sengoku Muso/Samurai Warriors crossover event might not work there is still the much more balls to the wall anime-style of Sengoku Basara.
Also, imagine if the Symphogear girls had a Sentai Event. XD I mean imagine that. I get the feeling Chris might slip and say something like "I'm the Red one, so I'm the leader!" And Tsubasa would look confused, while Kirika/Hibiki would grin and ask how Chris knows about stuff like that (to which they would get smacked on the head by a beet red Chris).

I would like to see one with either Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha or Pretty Cure.
I could see Chris wanting the Nanoha one, while I can imagine her being embarrassed if she had to form shift her Gear to look like Precure attire. XD
But Hibiki and Zababa would not mind one bit.
Tsubasa and Maria can hang out with the older, mature badass cures like Cure Moonlight.
A My Hero Academia crossover could be pretty rad, I think. Bakugo and Chris interacting would be... chaotic.
Oh god, what would his nicknames for the girls be?! XD
Also, I can see the name of the Hibiki/Deku team-up card "Syphonic Smash!" or something like that.
Chris and Bakugou would be something like "Howitzer Fuga"
And then Tsubasa would have Todoroki with "Dance of Elements"

Maybe Revue Starlight. I don't know anything about the gacha game, but I absolutely loved the anime, and I watched it specifically because it was similar to Symphogear.

I have Carol, Miku, and Heaven (Kanade and Serena) as well as one with all the actual openings and endings (and not the special ones like if they open or close an episode with a character song).
