... why the hell would we be getting information about tokyo-to?

Just because Belle is going there doesn't mean it will be related to the dilema she put againts us.

Hell we may not even be secured to go with her considering we almost got JFK.

So I doubt Eggman will be going out anytime soon coming month unless QM's confirms the contrary.

Look I know Persona is all about the journey and all that, but the protagonists never directly asked for anything like that relating to their own journeys.

The velvet room was open to them because it was their duty to prepare them for their journey, but never actively help them discover it, they all had to come to those conclusions on their own merits.

Hell Persona 4 is the biggest case of this, as Yu and company were very willing to just kill the red herring until Yu started to cool down his head after Nanako getting killed.

The Velvet room, nor it is assistant or master ever gave hints or straight answers to people journeys, just told them the ordeals they may face.

But never alluded to anything concrete in them, just giving them the descriptions of the cards, like the most the time the card of the tower would be used for the present to represent inminent danger, but just that and told to the wild cards that when the right time came they would be helping the wild card with their services.

Sorrry if I am ranting and all.

But P3 and P4 are some of my favorite games, so I know that the velvet room assistants never give out straight answers nor hints about one's journey.

There was also just one more regulation to the velvet room.

That it doesn't matter what the choices the wild card make, the only thing they ask for their services is that they are willing to accept any and all consequences of their actions.

Fuck it changing vote since it looks like we are not asking about Maria and Gerald.

[x] Tell me, what is in store for I, Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik?

Well, I won't complain too much about a future reading but I was really curious what we would get for the kindness and power question. I thought it would be a nice character development question.

Yeah that was more in question character arch…and keep info away from gun and the restoration.

Edited: that and it's perfect question, it's out of there and can be as a smoke screen AND a inquisitive if they are the real deal or not.

You'll have a slight point, but it's also to see if this is really the real deal for us. We know she's good, but Eggman doesn't know that she's the genuine article. That's why we send our mystical hero unit here. That's why I feel like it's a pretty good question.
And how perchance would a vauge philosophical question tell us they are the real deal
Asking about the future gives us tangible results

I agree with catxfighter_3_1 besides what's learning the future going to do for us we'll just go worry more about it
the Power and "Kindness" question is at least more narratively interesting

I don't care about the logistics, optics, or potential actionable intel any of these questions would bring. I'm here for character and vibes. Cracking open that little nugget and making Eggman consider it more seriously was what I wanted. It had no material or mechanical benefits, but I wanted to see what would happen. Would he scoff and dismiss it, but it would plant the seeds for later? Would it crack the armor around his heart?

(Incidentally I spend a lot of time thinking on which courses of actions will make people the most happy, or is the most narratively satisfying, not necessarily what is the smartest.)

And the future always changes guys…trying to precog shit never works out. Or at least goes against expectations. I prefer the philosophical question of if power and kindness (control and kindness) can coexist.

A perfect test of "are they real? Neat then moving on" or "they're fake? Okay fine moving on". Either way we get the info and this out of the way.

….. I feel like some of you have forgotten about where the fortuneteller tent is currently located at…. You know deep in technically enemy territory. The restoration, very same group that fought against us during sonic forces. , now working together with Gun and having members from across sonic Ip who resisted their version of us. People who would not take it very take kindly of our minion, asking this question.
and Eggman would know this how?
This is fearmongering. For one, Eggman is absolutely arrogant enough to send a minion to do that. For another, fortune telling as a practice relies on being able to conceal your activities from the public. You can't let too many people over hear you, otherwise they'll put it together that you're faking it through bluffing and vague language.

Well, here's the thing with either way how the vote ends or who wins the vote. It's not going to be satisfactory for everyone. That's the truth. Some are going to be bitter about this other are going to accept it.

The reason why I've even put that vote is because in persona games it's ultimately about character growth as well as. Each character matured, reaching a version of them that they would like. Becoming a better version of them. I'm ultimately thinking with that mindset as well.

What's the way to become the best version of ourselves while retaining both power and kindness.
This is substanceless. Address the actual arguments against the vote. Yes, Persona is about character growth. How is your question supposed to lead to that? This is a question that should be posed to a psychologist. It's not about what will happen or what Eggman should do or anything like that.

I do have a question for you, do you think it is possible for Eggman to conquer the world and still be kind?

Exactly we'll just friggin worry about it. Plus I wanted a narratively satisfactory thing from this.
The narrative satisfaction of what? Where is that supposed to come from? By giving up being Eggman? Screw that. I want to conquer the world.

Well sabotage Zavok has it's appeal true but remember the guy is currently using our own stuff, giving mallus to him would in turn give mallus that everybody else can use meaning less territory we can reclaim for ourselves or more of our stuff destroyed.

He already took a chunk of his badniks to fight us and lose while we took also a very good number he produce this turn as well. Zavok is extremely weak in Turn 4 and he made no hiding attempts he was coming to kill Dr. Eggman.
I was talking about why Zavok wasn't sabotaged on Turn 4, not in the next couple turns. I'm pretty sure our Trickery actions will be occupied with other concerns in the near future. Like finding Chuck, the assassin, and the Conch. The rest of it I'll drop to avoid religitation of past votes.

I'll be honest, I don't understand how exactly Eggman in character would know of the velvet room and know how it works is considered fearmongering.

that doesn't really matter because Kingster has already stated that tant isn't the Velvet room
