Would my custom question be seen as revealing ignorance? Its more Dusk trying to gauge potential issues ahead of time regarding interacting with non-dragons in my view.

Alright, closing voting, and starting work on... hm, probably an informational threadmark for setting history, first, followed by actual conversational stuff in a regular threadmark (and referencing back to said informational one).

Looks like the final tally is unanimous-or-close-enough on requesting an antivenom, going for the treasure (if Tarin and Foxy agree to your somewhat-aggressive terms*), asking for Foxy's name, and asking about Garscander's Folly.

Additional questions include asking what Tarin has found noteworthy so far; that one's safe enough...**

...And two votes for fluffy tails which, hm. I'm definitely not going to be using that exact phrasing, but I'll see if I can work something in? No guarantees, though; depends on how the conversation ends up flowing.
* Which they probably will, for reasons that will come up later.
** Well, 'safe', as long as you don't mind Tarin (figuratively) talking your ears off***. Foxy may not be entirely pleased. On the other hand, you'll be getting some of that just asking about Garscander's Folly, so...
*** Do you even have external ears? Hm, my 'Status Screen' post doesn't actually have any words spent on shape of head; horns, yes, eyes, yes, teeth, definitely, other details... unclear. Let's go with... probably? Ears can be narratively-useful emotional indicators. Not strictly necessary, but useful.

As one of the votes for that:
Sounded like a cute idea from Altom, if it fits in the flow: cool, if not: doesn't matter either.
 
Wonder if as part of the history threadmark we may get a breakdown on the various races of the world. With these two adventurers we know there is at least a decent variety beyond the usual humanity.

And then theres Dusk herself.. maybe a few bits of her past we can uncover..

Nope! Mostly because I'm keeping options open. We know there are humans. We know there are at least some variations on beastfolk. We know there are dragons. Are there elves, or dwarves, or orcs, or any of the other 'classic' fantasy races? Not yet determined.

There will be at least some hints in there, yes. Probably nothing that's actually obvious, but I don't have it all written yet, so we'll see.

Copy that. Haven't seen any in this quest but it's pretty commonly used for more "secretive" info in quests or fics..

Hence the ability to automatically mark where there's invistext in post options.
 
So next up seems like will be the first major fight against an enemy that is an actual threat to Dusk without numbers..

Wonder what tricks it will have or if it just has a lot of health.
