@Alivaril How about quickly tinkering something up to knock us out until we're found? Maximum sympathy means staying in here as long as possible, and consciousness is making that difficult.

In addition, if the "make it more of a biohazard" option is picked, Queen Administrator is planning on confining herself to diseases that could plausibly be found in the biohazardous disaster that is Host's prison. She's not exactly lacking for options. They wouldn't remain inert forever; she doesn't want Host to end up in quarantine for too long, nor does she want to make Host sick. She just wants the threat to be taken seriously and maybe get some extra sympathy for Host. Host needs all the help she can get.
Ah. Useful!

...

I HAVE THE BEST IDEA.

[X] While you're in the locker, add a few extra inert diseases to what was already in there. It was already a biohazard, but Host should get more sympathy if people think it was an even bigger one, right?
-[x] Also, whoever put Host in here needs to go down. Teenage girls, right? STDs are totally plausible.

[X] Break out immediately.
-[X] Head to the nearest occupied room.
--[X] Ask an authority figure for medical assistance and a team for dealing with biohazardous waste.

-[X] While you're in the locker, add a few extra inert diseases to what was already in there. It was already a biohazard, but Host should get more sympathy if people think it was an even bigger one, right?

Statement: "Why should we not be the creepy girl. Being creepy and garnering sympathy is good worm fic form."

[X] Wait until you can hear people outside before you break out of the prison.
-[X] Ask the nearest person for medical assistance and a team for dealing with biohazardous waste.
--[X] Ignore all their attempts to claim that they're not the person in charge of that and cling on to them until they acquiesce.
---[X] They can serve as Host's Friend until you get a chance to make some. Host is currently somewhat lacking in Friends, it seems!

I'm less clear on how to get out of the locker, but I thought this would be more funny and also quite plausible. I mean, someone who's just been locked in a biohazardous locker might be a bit shaken up and looking for emotional support, so... As long as it isn't Greg. I will disavow this vote if it wins and we end up with Greg. :p

-[x] Using only Form Change by changing into a 20 foot tall Cthulhu.
--[x] Head to the nearest occupied room.
---[x] Ask an authority figure for medical assistance and a team for dealing with biohazardous waste.

Let's immediately attract a lot of attention. Maybe set off the Endbringer sirens while we're at it. QA doesn't have full access to memories yet so if we want to get the Trio in trouble it needs to be properly investigated. While changing into a bear or something would 'out' us and attract the PRT/Protectorate changing into Cthulhu would probably ensure a full team will investigate.

So...could we manage to pull off pretending to be a Case 53? As in, would that be a likely conclusion they'd reach? We're lacking the tattoo, but with the shapeshifting, that seems unlikely to have stuck. Same with being inhuman. Amnesia is fairly easy, especially with the drastic personality shift.

The big difference is that we haven't been dropped in a random back-alley miles from home. Is that a consistent enough aspect of Case 53s to screw up the excuse, or have they not put the pattern together?

I'm thinking the process goes like this:
Add plausible diseases for extra effect.
Break the lock in a way that looks like we got lucky and wouldn't require brute-level strength.
Stumble into the nearest occupied area, ask for assistance and pass out thereby ensuring that we have both lerted people to thesituation, are going to receive help and have time to sort through Host's memories a bit before ny questions are asked.

Yeah, voting for this because it seems like it would be rather entertaining. QA's totally not going to mess this up with her acting. No way.

What did we do in Splintered, again?

You don't think you have the materials for anything non-destructive. Plus, you're not comfortable leaving Host in a prison which may very well kill her if left for long enough.

-[] Transform into a koala bear or similarly strong creature, break the lock, and return to Host's normal form before opening the door.

. . . Koala bears aren't actually strong, right? Guys?

Whether or not the diseases are believable doesn't matter to me .Either it's absurd (which is a win), or it wins us pity points and improves our position in other ways.

I agree now is a bad time to be known as a bio tinker. I also think it would be a bad precident for our first creation to be disposable instead of a Friend. Any soultion for getting out that involves being low key should also be done alone if possible, clearly.

I will say that if someone has an exceptionally audacious form for is to get out, I could be swing to just go crazy.

I kinda want to get shanghaid into joining the wards, because I really want to see how many different kinds of headaches we can give the powers that be. Also, I have a mighty need to witness interaction between Clockblocker and QA.

I'm picking the option most likely to draw the authorities attention to the ones who put Host in the locker - a potential new ward who very likely would have died as a result of their actions.

That let us draw attention to us and to evaluate actions of people who stumbled onto us. If they're sufficiently sympathetic and effective, we can promote them to Friend status in the future.

Might as well milk the school for more money. *Shrug*

Last time around, in "Splintered," QAylor wasn't even trying to be subtle. This time around, I want to see her actually trying to be subtle...and doing it about as well as we can expect.

Been a lurker for a long time, made an account more recently. I've never posted before. Is it good form to just vote for whatever would be funniest? Is it better to vote as you think they would actually act? What's good quest etiquette? Am I missing a thread that explains all this?

Just play it by ear. In more serious quests, joke votes can backfire horribly (see: Marked for Death, Destiny of Strife). Sanctioned is a crack/humor quest though, so you can probably just vote for whatever you'd like to see.

I think this will end up being funny no matter what, but this seems like it would cause good interaction with the heroes.

Welcome to SV and Sanctioned in particular!

1: It varies by quest. For this, I'd say "yes," barring absurdly stupid/suicidal plans. Odds are QA would veto those, though. (Ninjas.)

2: As a general rule, yes, you want to avoid voting for blatantly OOC behavior. I use vote defaults to help make that easier; if an option is in there and it isn't struck through, you can assume it'd be IC. I honestly wouldn't worry too much about that, though. You'll pick it up as you go along and a few GMs, myself included, will tweak plan implementation to fit the character.

3: It varies by quest or QM. "Read the voting discussion since the last update if you wanna vote for said update" is high on the list. And for all of my quests except maybe this one, it's kinda unfair to other players to drop a vote and then not check the thread for the rest of that vote. Said quests rely heavily on write-ins since, again, I use defaults as an IC guide, not what's necessarily the best plan.

4: I have no idea. :p

Forgot a motivation earlier, but HOST deserves sympathy and this is clearly the best way to get it.

Too excited for quest, couldn't sleep due to urge to write. Next day too tired to write, but still wanted to, couldn't sleep. Today, even more exhausted, still want to write but head feels like it's being squeezed and can barely string four thoughts together.

Truly, a most vicious cycle. Sleep aids, ho!

This'll be fine. It's a solid plan, me thinks, and it's the best option for QA.
