I haven't been this excited for the next interlude for a long time. Or even on the other hand of Taylor showing up for a moment in her tripped out state to do something different than how QAylor would leaving every one but QA confused and concerned.

Welp, that was... somewhere between horrifying and hilariously insane. The blurred lines between the inside world and the outside, and the way Taylor can't quite tell the difference between herself and herself, are particularly nightmarish. Also, Taylor is pissed off. We, uh, might want to address some of that.

WITH ITS EYE OF COAL
SAURON KNOWS YOUR LICENSE PLATE
AND STARES INTO YOUR SOUL
Okay, that made me laugh.

That was a weird read. Seems like there is definitely thought bleed-over from Taylor to QA, and vice-versa. Makes sense, QA did have to alter Taylor's brain structure to try and fix things.

I believe what happened last time this had a story was that Taylor was put in a dreamworld where she had full control.
Don't remember if that is what happened here.

She could fix everything.
... Was this the beer or did I read it correctly...?
I seriously feel like I'm just drunk and misunderstood the whole chapter, so I'll get back here tomorrow and see if it really is it. Unless I forget. Which is likely.

Edit: all the funnies made me come back now. And fuck, I read it correctly. Now I can switch from wondering if I read it right to wondering what the hell I read. Is it Taylor trapped in Shard-world while QA does things in human-world?

I'm not sure how trapped she is. Some of her comments make it sound like she could Assume Direct Control if she cared enough about the situation.
Uh... So it's not that QA damaged Taylor's brain so much that the shard has to take control of the body... It's Taylor herself who decided to retreat further into herself and left QA to fend for itself...

One of the first things QA did upon discovering her new circumstances was to send Taylor into a happy dream to hopefully recover. That is where she is now, happily dreaming away while spots of the outside world leak in. She still doesn't know her own name, so she isn't ready yet, but she is getting better then completely comatose.

That's the scary thing, she's fine. She's even self aware enough to know that she could know her name, if she tried. She has spikes of lucidity and crushes them with no remorse, and then she's still linked enough to subtly nudge a shardmind into following her acid-tripping ideas.
